  1. Dialog box pop up warning when opening the application for IllustratorGc.jsx

    Illustrator version:25.3 (updated today to run natively for M1)

    Hardware Specifications:
    MacBook Pro M1
    OS: macOS Big Sur 11.4

    I updated my Illustrator today to run natively on M1 and have been facing this issue for a while.

    I changed none of my preferences but randomly seem to be getting this warning pop-up that does not go away when clicking on 'Continue' or 'Cancel' - I tried reinstalling the app which didn't work at first, so I removed my preferences and tried again but that did not fix it. It seems the warning pop-ups just when I open the application…

  2. Cursor selections made within ui panels parameter fields do not respect dark mode on macos

    macOS 10.15.7
    Illustrator 26.3.1

    Selecting text or number values within ui panels in either light or dark mode, let alone any mode, should not rely on the os or allow the os to dictate textfield colors while that textfield has focus (e.g., text selection highlight color, text color, textfield background color). Instead always use just one neutral color for each regardless of the os display mode state.

    Screenshots show the selected text value (1575 px) within the Transform Panel > TextField [X pos] rendering correctly in macOS light mode and INcorrectly in dark mode.

  3. Zoom in command does not work

    1. Illustrator ver 26.3.1 (64 bit). My PC is SurfacePro7 with surface keyboard. GPU:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50 GHz
    2. pressed "control + +"
    3. expected zoom in.
    4. As a result, guide (Cyan line) was shown as if I pressed "control + :". When I pressed "control + :", it also results in guide showing.

  4. Tab forces viewport to jump when panels are docked

    When you have a complex document and panels docked, it takes a lot of time to hide them with Tab because the position of the viewport is moved. It does not happen when all panels are floating.

    1. Load Essentials Classic workspace
    2. Open any document with art in it (the more complex the better)
    3. Press Tab — viewport moves (and it is slow!)
    4. Press Tab again to show all panels
    5. Undock every panel and toolbars to make them float (including Control panel)
    6. Press Tab — viewports stays in place (and it is almost instant!)

    So the position of viewport should not…

  5. Buttons hidden below view for print dialogue

    When my screen view is in large type, the print dialogue popup buttons become hidden out of view below the edge of my screen. It's impossible to resize the dialogue menu and it can't be moved up either. Using command- to make screen elements smaller doesn't make any change. I can make the screen resolution a smaller size, tho to see the whole window. But this defeats the purpose of having my screen settings on large b/c then I can't read the words in the dialogue box.   6. various interface problems

    con l'ultima versione di Illustrator ( 26.2.1 ) sono comparsi diversi problemai di interfaccia rendento difficile lo sviluppo del lavoro.
    ad esempio:
    - impossibile muovere con le freccie da tastiera gli oggetti selezionati
    - se selezioni una guida questa scompare ricompare quando deselezionata
    - stesso problema con i punti di ancoraggio se selezionati scompaiono

  7. Window widgets vanish if window is resized via Accessibility API

    If an Illustrator window is moved and resized via the Accessibility API, then the window widgets will vanish. They will reappear if you manually resize the window (even if only by a pixel).

    This issue affects anyone who uses a third-party window manager, such as our app Moom. It was reported by one of our users, and this video is theirs—we don't have Illustrator, so we can't test on our end.

    If you watch the video, you'll see the window widgets vanish when the user uses Moom to move the window; they then reappear when they manually resize the window.…

  8. Open Illustrator 26.2.1 pallet drops in my desktop window .. when open, as photo shows 4-17-22

    See photo clipping ... intermittent, recurring. No other adobe open aps do this ... just Illustrator. Bug .. Yes. Annoyance. Yes. Mac OS 12.3.1 Monterey, 27" display desktop. From wake.

  9. All confimation boxes closing

    Everytime I do an action that recquires a confirmation box - such as Save Document, Rasterize Text, etc - the box closes in less than a second, making impossible to do anything. So, when I'm working I can't save - and sometimes can't even shut down the program because all boxes closes in a blink.

    Im using the last AI version and Windows 11. Can someone help me? :(

  10. Keyboard shortcuts quit working periodically?

    Occasionally while I'm in Illustrator, my keyboard shortcuts will randomly stop working for roughly 30 seconds at a time. The issue resolves without me having to restart, but it happens a couple times a day usually. I have custom shortcuts but it also happens for defaults (like cmd + s for saving). I thought it was lag at first, but I'm able to use the same commands from the drop down menus without issue.

    I'm running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 with Illustrator 25.4.4, and I have several Esko plug-ins for work.

  11. Object horizontal and vertical measurements are swapped in tool bar

    MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
    Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
    Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559)
    Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2

    When selecting an object, like a rectangle, the horizontal and vertical measurements in the tool bar are swapped. They appear correctly in the Transform window.

    For example, a horizontal rectangle could be 7pt x 5pt, but when selected in the tool bar it shows 5 in the <--> dialog box and 7 in the vertical box.

    I have restarted my computer and restarted illustrator.

    As per the comment:

    Illustrator allows to access dimensions of an object as well as dimensions of a live shape. In case when a shape is rotated by 90° the shape’s size values can look swapped compared to measured sizes. It’s like tilting a head. See attached images inside for clarifications.

  12. Home Welcome Screen Blank After Update on all Apps

    After the recent set of updates, all my Adobe Suite apps have blank Welcome/Home screens. I have to use legacy new document interfaces for all of them.
    OS: Windows 10
    AI version: 26.0.3
    Happens on opening app. able to open files, but blank screen on welcome and new document interface. changed to legacy to be able to use the software. This issue is happening on all my Adobe apps.
    Indesign Version: 17.1
    Photoshop Version: 23.2.1

  14. Wrong localization

    I have English version of Adobe Illustrator ver. 25.4.1
    I changed language to Russian and see that Russian localization is incorrect. These Russian words do not exist in the Russian language.
    Is that possible to update Russian localization in Adobe Illustrator?
    Just few examples below
    Full Justify Last Line Center -Полная выключка, последняя строка по центру
    Full Justify Last Line Full-Полная выключка абзаца и последней строки
    Full Justify Last Line Left-Полная выключка, последняя строка по левому краю
    Full Justify Last Line Righ-Полная выключка, последняя строка по правому краю

  15. Artboard Naming Display Error

    OS: MacOS 11.5.2 (Big Sur – most recent update)

    When renaming artboards, the text is cut off in the textbox on my M1 Macbook Air.

    Steps I took: Shift+O to access the artboard tool, click artboard, attempt to rename.

    I want to point out - I'm still able to rename the artboard, but the text is just cut off in the box (see picture below).

  16. Paste operation does not properly ignore the null termination character of ANSI string

    During a paste operation to the art board, the final null termination character of the clipboard is not ignored, but rendered as part of the string used to compse the text object.

    I'm attaching an image of the clipboard contents, and I made a video to show the behavior. Under Windows, simply copy the value from the color dialog box and then click the desktop and paste.

  17. New File Preset Details Fields Are Misaligned Vertically (Cut off)

    When creating a New File, the measurement presets (width, height, bleed) are too high within their respective input fields. This causes the digits in each of the fields to be cut off at the top. I've attempted to resolve the issue by scaling the window, updating Illustrator, deleting preferences, and installing/reinstalling the application. Issue unresolved.

  18. ワークスペースが開かない

    ワークスペースが消えた。
    ウィンドウ＞ワークスペース＞初期設定やリセットしても何も開かない

    一応
    ウィンドウ＞
    で必要なパネルにチェックを入れると開くが
    ひとつづつチェックを入れて手動でで並べないといけないので
    不便です

  19. Übersetzungsfehler im neuen 3D Panel

    Im neuen Panel "3D und Materialien" gibt es unter dem Punkt "Aufblasen" einen Übersetzungsfehler.
    Hier wurde "Volume" versehentlich mit "Lautstärke" statt "Volumen" übersetzt.

  20. Saved Presets are not available despite having tab names "Saved" in the New Document Window

    Users should be able to save presets for documents they use regularly so that they don't have to manually set up common artboards they use frequently. I am submitting this under bugs, as opposed to feature requests, because other apps (photoshop, indesign, etc.) allow users to do this and Illustrator has a tab for saved presets in the New Document window, but does not give the user the ability to saved the preset. I DO NOT WANT TO SAVE TEMPLEATE! Templates are different from presets, and all the community answers direct users to saving templates. Again, Templates are vastly different…
