Using Illustrator “Paste In Front” creates a Find window on the Desktop
Hi;
I have recently begun having a paste in front (⌘F) issue in AI 2020.For DECADES I have been able to select an item and copy (⌘C) then paste in front (⌘F) to create a copy of the selection exactly on top that I can then step/move as needed.
I have been doing this in the Illustrator 2020 application for years.Now when I’m in Illustrator and I hit the paste in front (⌘F), it takes me directly to the desktop and creates a Find window. (And Does Not Paste In Front!)

Voreinstellung Einheit Allgemein Millimeter wird nicht gespeichert
Beim Schließen von AI sollte die Voreinstellung Einheit-Allgemein-Millimeter sowie alle anderen Voreinstellungen gespeichert werden. Das ist leider nicht der Fall.
Meine Systemangaben:
Windows 10, AI Version 25.2Wenn ich die voreingestellte Allgemeine Einheit von punkt auf Millimeter ändere, dann die geöffnete Datei speichere, AI schließe, wieder öffne und irgendeine Datei öffne, oder auch AI durch den Aufruf einer Datei oder der vorher geöffneten Datei öffne, ist die Allgemeine Einheit wieder auf dem voreingestellten Wert "Punkt".
Ich erwarte mir, daß der Wert dann Millimeter ist, weil ich ja die Voreinstellungen geändert habe.

Buttons hidden below view for print dialogue
When my screen view is in large type, the print dialogue popup buttons become hidden out of view below the edge of my screen. It's impossible to resize the dialogue menu and it can't be moved up either. Using command- to make screen elements smaller doesn't make any change. I can make the screen resolution a smaller size, tho to see the whole window. But this defeats the purpose of having my screen settings on large b/c then I can't read the words in the dialogue box. Bug: MacOS window dots are not showing up in the upper left corner
The red, yellow, green window dots are not showing up in the upper left hand corner of the homescreen and are instead stuck between learn and files on the left hand nav.

New Document Window - Buttons Cropped (Mac OS)
On Mac OX 11.6 (27" screen, 4K) the buttons inside the 'New Document' window are partially cropped out of sight.

Rotate polygon with 3 sides (triangle)
(A) If I create a polygon with only 3 sides (triangle), then it has a centre that corresponds to a circle around the triangle.
(B) If I rotate the triangle by 90° with the Rotate tool, the centre of the circumcircle is used. That is correct.(C) If I rotate the same triangle by 90° with the menu command "Object > Transform > Rotate", then suddenly the centre of the bounding box is used as the centre of rotation. This is wrong in my eyes. Also, this new centre point remains.

Portrait Mode
Older versions of Illustrator support Portrait Mode - it seems like CC does not. This is very useful if your main computer is a Microsoft Surface docked in portrait mode or have a secondary monitor in portrait mode, or if using a Surface will on the go you prefer to work in portrait mode. Resizing window distorts artwork and interface
Selecting Edit>Recolor Artwork resulted in Illustrator distorting the contents of the user interface when the application window was resized. I was unable to replicate the problem after restarting Illustrator. The attached screenshot is not resized, it is exactly as Illustrator appeared after the bug manifested.

Lag when mouseover on Font menu
On macOS, if you click the "Type" menu in the menubar at the top of the screen, then hover over "Font" in the dropdown menu, there is serious lag as the fonts load. Sometimes if you're just passing over the Font option on your way to another item, you can experience lag for 3-5 seconds as the fonts load anyway.
Illustrator 26.0.1, macOS 10.15.7, Macbook Pro 2019 16" 8 core i9.

All confimation boxes closing
Everytime I do an action that recquires a confirmation box - such as Save Document, Rasterize Text, etc - the box closes in less than a second, making impossible to do anything. So, when I'm working I can't save - and sometimes can't even shut down the program because all boxes closes in a blink.
Im using the last AI version and Windows 11. Can someone help me? :(

Button Text Alignment Issue
This is disturbing, This button alignment issue is seen in Indesign & Photoshop as well.

Menus aren't opening, or opening and closing fast. Isn't possible click and anything.
On opening screen, it's not open Preferences menu or choose any options at document presets. The tab open and closes very fast.
It's not access swatches, write the name of the file, access export menus, nothing.This problem started at version 22. Seem corrected, but the issue back after some minutes or hours of use. It's totally random.

The issue is happening with other people at Adobe Community forum.

Paused tutorial video, can't play again
Trying to use tutorials to learn Illustrator. Pausing video to try things within the program results in me being unable to press play to continue the video. This requires me to restart my computer if I want to watch the video again.

Paste operation does not properly ignore the null termination character of ANSI string
During a paste operation to the art board, the final null termination character of the clipboard is not ignored, but rendered as part of the string used to compse the text object.
I'm attaching an image of the clipboard contents, and I made a video to show the behavior. Under Windows, simply copy the value from the color dialog box and then click the desktop and paste.

Some shortcuts don't work while using non-English keyboard / language layout
After upgrading to AI 26.0 (and still not fixed in 26.0.1) some shortcuts stopped working, like those:
- Show/hide layers = cmd + ;
- Lock selection = cmd + 2It seems that all shortcuts with czech letters on the keyboard instead of US are affected. To be clear:
- On us keyboard there is ";" key, but on the Czech keyboard, there is "ů" letter.
- The same for the letter "2" on US, on the Czech keyboard, there is "ě" letter.Possible fix: to keep logic as before, when everything worked, you have to work with hardware…

Übersetzungsfehler im neuen 3D Panel
Im neuen Panel "3D und Materialien" gibt es unter dem Punkt "Aufblasen" einen Übersetzungsfehler.

Missing Files Dialogue keeps re-appearing
The missing files dialogue keeps re-appearing after exactly 10 seconds, despite me selecting "No" for the following message;
"Some files are missing or modified in the Links panel. Would you like to update them now?"
Using Illustrator 26.0 64-bit on Windows 10.

New Update interfaz error
In the new update, the interface shows errors when I select create new file and when I tell it to save to the cloud. The numbers and file names are not read in full.

resizing a document window in illustrator is glitchy
Mac OS 10.15.7
AI 25.3.1Resizing an open document window is glitchy and not smooth at all. The artboard and imagery on it jump around as the window is resized. It's visually disrupting to workflow.
