1. adobe color themes not responding

   I am using Illustrator on my desktop, and it is the 2020 version. I'm trying to use the adobe color themes but when I click on it, it opens to a blank white window. I tried restarting my computer and exiting out of the folder, to no avail.

2. A bug compounded with rotated line gradients, arrows, and appearances

   There are some conditions for reproduction.

   ・ Line with arrow
   ・ Set gradation to line color
   Two or more lines created by the appearance

   It is good to change the line width or move by "deformation" to check the change of the overlapped line.

   Rotate the object.
   Then click on the eye icon in the appearance panel to show or hide each line. The direction of the gradation of the line not touching should change one after another.

   I have confirmed this phenomenon in all versions from CS6 to 2020.
   A similar phenomenon was obtained with the vertical axis reflect. In my tests it didn't happen with horizontal reflect.

3. Global swatches unlinking from grayscale gradient

   I'm on a Mac Pro using Mojave version 10.14.6
   Using Illustrator 2020 & 2021, both updated to latest iterations.

   I have a gradient one piece object, I turn a copy of it grayscale through the Edit Color feature > convert to grayscale, I extract the grays generated and ensure global swatches is on to keep swatches linked. Each of this swatch I rename to a specific designation. I used this grayscale gradient and use it as an opacity mask, this serves as a density mask that allows me to control the opacity of each section of the color gradient separately.
   Now I duplicate this art along with opacity mask as a new layer, I drag it to new layer to duplicate it. This new art will serve as an alternate density control with different opacity values for each color, I want to rename the existing gray swatches but i want to keep the old values too at this point both share the same gray swatches with one set of specific designation. So I go into the original gradient art opacity mask and "cut" the gray converted art into the clipboard, keeping it safe. I then proceed to rename the gray swatches to the new designation and adjusting the gray values through the K slider after that is complete I re-paste in place the data in the clipboard back to where I cut it from. The old gray swatches reappear in the swatch table, however here is where the bug occurs. When i click on select unused swatches to check for linkages the swatches that returned from me repasting back the grayed art into the opacity channel is now unlinked and for some odd reason returned grayed gradient art which should have been insulated in the clipboard is now using the new renamed swatches from the new duplicate.

   The new swatch sets and the old swatch sets were supposed to maintain links to its respective gradient art.

   So far this happens to gradients converted to grayscale 80% of the time, I think this is a bug as 20 percent of the time functions as it should like with other objects with single simple swatches.

   My background is color separation for t-shirts and i use this method to generate grayscale underbase plates that allows me control of the color density in each color area.

4. Color picker preview doesn't match color field/document, matches monitor RGB instead

   1. Operating system: Windows 10 Pro. Version of Adobe Illustrator: 25.0
   2. When I select a color in the color picker, the circled color in the color field doesn't match the color in the preview. The color field matches the document, but the preview shows it as much brighter. It actually matches my monitor RGB since it matches the document opened in Windows photo viewer (see attachment). I don't have this problem in Photoshop. Everything matches. It looks like the color field is correctly color managed but the preview box is not.
   3. Expected result: I expect the preview to match the color field and the document.
   4. Actual result: The preview matches my monitor RGB, so it shows as much brighter, and thus an inaccurate preview.

6. 'Edit Color Group' does not respect global or spot color swatches.

   The 'edit color group' tool is a neat little palette explorer, but in practice I never use it because my workflow is centered around global swatches, and it completely ignores that.

   Try this:

   1. Make a few global color swatches. Draw some shapes using them.
   2. Double-click on one of those swatches, play with the sliders, notice that everything drawn in it changes to match.
   3. Make those swatches into a color group.
   4. Select the color group and hit the 'Edit Color Group' button in the Swatches palette.
   5. Change some colors, hit OK, yes you do want to save your changes to the swatch group.
   6. Observe that every swatch you just changed is now non-global, and all art drawn in those formerly-global swatches is now unlinked from the swatches.
   7. Do the same thing again except substitute 'spot color' for 'global color'; observe the similar effects.

   IMHO, Illustrator should preserve the global/spot status of swatches when using this tool.

   And given that it's failed to do this for a while and people have built workflow expectations around this behavior I am completely fine with an 'Edit Color Group preserves spot/global swatches' switch somewhere that defaults to off, if you're worried about people screaming about this. in the next version. :)

8. Crash when changing gradient stop color to white

   Illustrator 24.3, OS X 10.15.7.

   1. Create a shape with a gradient fill.
   2. Select any color stop that's not already white.
   3. Change the color of the stop to white by clicking the white box that's to the right of the no-fill ("None") box. Illustrator will crash immediately

   Changing the color value any other way does not trigger a crash. Screen recording showing how to reproduce the crash and the stack trace are attached.

9. Consistence in editing common values

   E.g. when two HSB colors voth have 100% saturation, a selection containing those objects should allow to edit their saturations simultaneously.

   But Ai leaves the field empty - as if the values where different.

11. Lost extra Pantone Colours after Illustrator 2021 update

    I have registered a Pantone booklet and downloaded the PANTONE colour manager to gain the extra missing Pantone swatch colours. This was working fine but after the 2021 update I have lost them.

    I have tried going back into the Pantone Colour Manager and re-updating the newest colour books I want (PANTONE Solid Coated-V4 and PANTONE+ Solid Coated-336). But the Applications to apply them to as options are only InDesign and Photoshop. If I click the + button below to Add Illustrator to the list, it says I have to click the Browse button and locate the Illustator.exe file. I do this but it then shows the link is invalid. Please see attachments showing exactly what I'm doing.

12. Adding swatch to Libraries automatically creates spot color

    Adding a swatch from Illustrator into a Library automatically turns the color into a spot color. I need it to be a process color.

13. Transform pattern only: setting height/width to 0 crashes Illustrator

    If you select "transform pattern only" option in Transform panel and (accidentally) set height or weight to 0 (mm in my case), then Illustrator crashes.

14. Color Libraries not switching correctly

    When switching from different Color Libraries, before I could click on the arrow to select a different library and have it open immediately.

    Now I have to collapse the color library panel in between in order to select a different color libraries, then collapse again to select it, then collapse again and reopen to get it to activate.

16. Scale tool doesn't work in Make Pattern

    The Scale tool currently does not do anything within pattern mode. Maybe this worked in previous versions, but would like to see all tools working within pattern mode on future updates

17. Double-click on swatch doesn't bring up swatch options anymore.

    I used to be able to double-click a swatch to bring up swatch options, but it does not bring up the dialogue box anymore.

18. Adobe themes panel window is cut outed..

    The adobe themes panel window is showing in half, while it does not have a scaling option also to scale.

    The right half of the window is cut out & non-accessible.

19. Gradient Window Color Slider buggy, Selection area too small, adding color instead of selecting the color

    After updating to 24.2. Gradient Window Color Slider buggy, Selection area too small, adding color instead of selecting the color. Then it doesn't allow the selection of the color because it wants to add a new color. When I keep trying to select the color it is showing a plus sign and will not allow me to select the color that is there.

20. Eyedrop multiple fills

    Please allow there to be an option on the eyedropper tool to select multiple fills on appearances to apply to another object. Example; with pattern design, we create a top transparent pattern than a second fill with a solid color to create the final pattern. We would like to be able to easily apply those two fills to another object

    You can open Eyedropper tool’s options (double-click tool icon or hit Enter while the tool is active) and check both Appearance ticks to force it to pick and apply all appearance items, including multiple fills.
