  1. Image Washed Out When Uploaded to Illustrator

    Whenever I upload an image, the color gets washed out and is completely different than the original image. Color Settings doesn't change anything, nor does changing the image type before uploading the image.

  2. Illustrator 25.0 color not right

    This is NOT an IDEA it's a bug.
    Colours in the newest version of illustrator are wrong.
    Attached is a screen grab of the file in 25.0 and work uploaded from the same file (previous version) on a web site. We've been through all this before with previous updates… why such shocking inconsistency with a professional product?!

  3. Spot colours in gradients are not exported to PDF

    If I have a gradient that includes a spot colour, and then export that file as a PDF, the spot colour is removed from the gradient. This happens no matter what PDF export setting I use.

    See example images attached.

    Illustrator: 25.2.1
    Mac OS: 11.2.3 (20D91), Apple Silicon

  4. 25.0.1 Colour still wrong

    NOT AN IDEA—A BUG!

    The colour settings are still incorrect in the newest update.
    Totally unusable software, so back to version 24 again.

    The image on the right is correct from version 24. How that file displays in 25.0.1 is in the middle and the image on the left is the same jpeg as on the right imported into 25.0.1…!!!!

    3 totally different interpretations of the same colour. Insane.

  5. Eyedropper STILL not wroking on grouped objects in Illustrator 24.2.3

    When using the eyedropper on grouped objects, it'll show correctly in the color panel, but it'll only apply the stoke color to the group. Please fix this! The eye dropper has not worked for grouped objects for way too long now.

  6. Color shift when distilling .ai files

    Colors in distilled files switch from CMYK to RGB since software update on March 14, 2020. This is very disruptive to my work flow.

  7. Pattern Seam issues with Adobe Capture patterns

    when using adobe capture patterns there is a transparent seam in the pattern, I am able to remove the seam by change the width of the pattern but its only a temporary fix as soon as I change the pattern the seam comes back. This issue only seams to happen in illustrator, because when I use the same patterns in photoshop there is no gap between patterns

    Steps to replicate:

    1. use adobe capture to create a pattern.
    2. create a shape in illustrator

    3. open the libraries tab and insert the pattern
      where lines/ spaces appear in-between the pattern

    4. go to pattern…

  8. Appearance: Empty Stroke blocks Fill

    When applying a colour to a selection, sometimes this has no effect. While both the Color and the Appearance panel reflect the chosen colour, the object doesn't.

    Most of the time the (unlogical) cause seems to be a Stroke without colour.
    When changing the order in Appearance to having the Fill on top, the colour appears.

    Please make an uncoloured stroke of no influence on underlying fills.

  9. New Recolor Artwork information link not working

    In the new Recolor artwork 2021 panel the info button in the lower left jumps to a link that is not working currently. It was working for me before, but in the past few days it's failed:

  10. Gradient colour not following path of curved line

    When I go to colour the gradient after applying it to a thicker curved line a new shape is made and takes the colour and gradient that I chose. This shape appears to be connected by the same anchors as the curve but is just a straight line.

  11. Appearance and coloring issues

    Appearance of grouped elements is having the old issue on appearance, that individual color properties of the elements are visible on the grouped elements, so making coloring a troublesome stuff.

  12. command + ~ key

    Sometimes command+ ~ key does not work, which is the function for moving pattern swatch only within an object. Some of my colleagues are experiencing it, also.

  13. dxfデータに含まれる特色がIllustrator2021に関して、保持がされずCMYK化されてしまう

    Illustrator2020までは問題なくdxfデータの特色は保持されていました。2021でも修正をお願いいたします。

  14. Pattern Fills Disappear

    When re-opening files, a lot of my pattern fills get dropped, and refill the object with a transparent/recolored pattern. I've had this issue for a while - across multiple computers within our company. (We are all using the same software and version on Illustrator.) I've attached a photo example below.

  17. Freeform gradient error with fill swatch on deselection

    Windows 10 Pro 1909 on Illustrator 25.0.1

    Deselecting an object with a Freeform gradient applied causes the fill swatch to show a question mark. If an object is then drawn with that question mark in the fill, Illustrator reports the following error:

    "Can't finish previewing. Could not complete the requested operation."

    Here are the steps to recreate:

    1. Draw rectangle with a fill but no stroke applied
    2. Fill with any 4 point freeform gradient
    3. Click away from rectangle
    4. Observe the fill swatch now has a question mark
    5. Draw another rectangle
    6. Error message appears.

    Incidentally. the appearance panel shows nothing applied to…

  18. the color theme panel is not working

    I use the MacBook Pro 13" , version 10.15.7.

    the color theme panel is not working on illustrator alone. it works perfectly on photoshop. tried restarting the system too. No difference at all. it is just stuck at loading.

  19. adobe color themes not responding

    I am using Illustrator on my desktop, and it is the 2020 version. I'm trying to use the adobe color themes but when I click on it, it opens to a blank white window. I tried restarting my computer and exiting out of the folder, to no avail.

  20. A bug compounded with rotated line gradients, arrows, and appearances

    There are some conditions for reproduction.

    ・ Line with arrow
    ・ Set gradation to line color
    Two or more lines created by the appearance

    It is good to change the line width or move by "deformation" to check the change of the overlapped line.

    Rotate the object.
    Then click on the eye icon in the appearance panel to show or hide each line. The direction of the gradation of the line not touching should change one after another.

    I have confirmed this phenomenon in all versions from CS6 to 2020.
    A similar phenomenon was obtained with the vertical axis reflect.…

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
