Recolour tool does not load custom colour palettes (AI 27.3)
I have restarted my machine already multiple times, but when I try to use the recolour tool, the added colour palettes I created do not load on the right hand side
1 voteThis happens because the swatches from the local library should panel should be added in the document’s Swatches panel for the Recolor to use it.

color doesn't reflect to the object except black and heavy color in all color modes
the colors pnale is going very weired it only color the dark colors only and when trying to change to lighter colorit wondnt respond.
pleas note this error ocured in any color mode. and the color slider interact differently than mouse cursor.

Ink value changes to 0 while adjusting color
When selecting multiple items with a different color mix, values changes to 0 when adjusting a single ink while it shouldn't change. In older versions this doesn't occur.
In the screencap, the Cyan value changes to 0 so the colormix changes completely.

Colors don't match
The color picker rounds the CMYK to the nearest whole number but the color window does not. They should be made consistent.

Illustrator Apple Silicon Bug (Eyedropper issue)
It is a weird bug that appear on "some file" which trasfered between M chip & Intel chip.
(It caused lots bug when a file transferred between these 2 chips)You can see when I pick a color, it gives me a wrong color (red) which was never used in this file!
The only way to figured out is ... pick more times ! D:

Colour Change when pasting object from one document to another
I have an object with colour #D96581. If I copy this object from an RGB document and paste it into a new RGB document, the HEX colour changes.

PROBLEM Mixing and changing swatches colours in the file...
We are currently designing on about 250 designs witch we have in the same file as different art boards. In the swatches panel we have created two different groups of colours (each group has 8 swatches). We design in each art board (for example Art 1) with one of the group colours (lets name it A). When we finish colouring Art1 we copy the design in the next art board Art2 and now we colour it using the other group (lets name it B). Numeric keypad not functioning properly in AI v27
When trying to type in numeric values in the swatches, it will change as you type the default back to "zero". I've gone back and forth between v26 and v27 and it appears to be working fine in 26. It is pretty much anywhere you have to type in numeric values.

Color guide options reset to default on Illustrator restart
- Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.2486
- Illustrator 27.2
- Open Color Guide Options from Color Guide panel -> customize Steps and/or Variation value -> close and open Illustrator
- Expected: Color Guide panel remembers options Result: options reset to default values (4 steps, 100% variation) so you have to re-enter them every time you start Illustrator

Color UI won't stop auto filling in shapes with a last used color
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but ever since updating to Illustrator 27.2, the color picker in the color UI (after holding shift + click) won't stop auto filling in selected shapes with the last applied color used to fill in a previous shape. This is very frustrating and significantly bogging down workflows.
Running on MacOS Monterey version 12.0.1 using Illustrator version 27.2

Color Mismatch when copy/pasting within Ai
In 27.2, copy/paste, while staying in Ai gives a color profile mismatch warning.
This is weird and should never happen. It also asks to Merge color swatches.

Pressing Ctrl/Cmd+Enter in Color field no longer adjusts other color values proportionately with live color preview since 27.1.1
Prior to 27.1.1, when live color changes were made, we were able to use Ctrl/Cmd+Enter after changing a value to proportionally move all other sliders, which is an equivalent of dragging a slider with Ctrl/Cmd key held.
The face the preview is now live should not kill this old feature., since Ai surely can remember previous values.11 votesWe have fixed the issue and a build with the fix is available in Beta.

작업을 하다 보면 색상이 탁해져있습니다.

Loading an external swatch library file freezes the app every time.
Loading a external swatch library freeze the app every time. Loading swatches from a file does not.
The freeze replicated by different swatch library files. Both my swatch library files .ase and files are offline. My frozen work file is in Creative Cloud.(meta feedback: This feedback system is slow and inefficient. I just wanna leave my bug report and leave. Opening Harmony Rules in the Color Guide crashes AI 27.2
Lately when opening the color guide and clicking on any of the non default harmony rules instantly crashes Illustrator with a segfault. This is happening on several AI files. I am on macOS 13.1 and AI 27.2 on an intel mac. I have attached the crash report from macOS.

Bug: dragging global swatch to the “plus” button doesn’t work as expected

Illustrator 27.1.1To replicate the issue:
Create a group of swatches and put a global swatch inside the group.
Drag this swatch to the [+] button to create a duplicate.
The actual result: A new global swatch is created outside the group with “Original Name copy” name while the original swatch is also renamed to the same name. Changing one of those swatches also changes the other, they act as one swatch.

The issue: one can create multiple swatches with the same name.
Create a few non-global swatches or use existing ones. Go inside the swatches and edit the names to the same value for all swatches — no error is triggered.1 vote -
Certain colors generate #000000 HEX values in Color Picker dialog
Bug in 2023 (v 27.1.1) Illustrator. Certain colors, when examined with the Color Picker, shows HSB rightness of 0, RGB all 0, and Hex code of #000000. See GIF.
This is a pretty severe bug with other downstream consequence. Dragging these "broken" colors into swatches, for example, generates pattern swatches instead of process color swatches.

Arrow keys used in Color panel don’t force canvas to update in version 27.1.1 (2023)
Whenever Arrows or Shift+Arrows key are used to quickly increment the value in a field in th Color panel, without GPU (or with Overprint Preview, which is done with CPU), — the color does not get updated on canvas, while in 26.x version it works just fine.
The CPU canvas now gets updated only when Tab or Enter get pressed. Pressing an arrow key, with or without a modifier, is a finite operation, and should trigger the redraw event too!9 votes -
CMYKのパラメータで触ったもの以外が勝手に0％になる。

CMYKの異なるオブジェクトを選択後、CMYKのいずれかを同じ数値にしようとすると、選択したもの以外のパラメーターが全て0％に変更されてしまう。
以前はそのようなことはなく、選択したもの以外のパラメーターはキープされていた。
例えば、C:10,M:20,Y:30:K40とC50:M:60,Y:70,K:80の2つのオブジェクトを選択し、両方のYの値を90に同時に変更しようとした場合、CMKの3つの数値はキープされず勝手に0に変わってしまう。3 votes
