  1. Export Assets (Elements) as SVG results in additional content in exported file

    When exporting assets as SVG using Asset Export panel, additional content is added — content that I exported weeks ago. When using "artboards" to export everything is correct.
    Horror!

  2. Changes made in acrobat PDF not reflected when opening in Illustrator

    Sometimes, text and graphical changes made using Adobe Acrobat on PDF's are not reflected when opened in Illustrator. For example, a client sent a PDF file of a banner with a phone number on it, when viewed in Acrobat the number is different than the one in Illustrator because the client made the edit in Acrobat. It would sure be a great feature if a file would open properly in across different adobe products.

  3. Sizes of exported PNG files differ depending on the method used

    Using "Export as" and "Export to Multiple Screen Formats" to export PNG format, with the same settings, there is a significant difference in size after export.

  4. Unknown error during file import

    Illustrator 2025 (29.1)
    MacBook Pro M3 16"
    MacOS Sonoma 14.7.1

    When importing I'm getting a random "Unknown error" message. Afterwich the import failes.

    This seems chipset related. When I boot Illustrator 2024 (28.7.3) in Rosetta mode, the error is gone.

  5. App crashes right after saving a file

    New v. 29, the King of Crashes
    Steps taken: I restart the app. (ignore the request to restart from the crash manager, somehow, that will cause another crash soon after)
    Crashes usually happen right when the app is done saving a file.
    This is probably the version that crashes most often in a VERY long time of using AI.

  6. クラッシュ多過ぎ仕事にならない。

    2025にしてから、頻繁にクラッシュするようになり、おっかなくって仕事になりません。かならず強制終了してしまうので、2024を再度インストールして使ってみましたが、こちらまでクラッシュするようになり八方塞がりです。生成AIばっかり注力せずに、まともなアプリに戻してください。

  7. Distorted curve line when saving an SVG

    Hello, when we save from AI/EPS to SVG file, the 'f' edge path of the logo automatically becomes out of shape. We tried different colors and it works fine. This issue only happen on white SVG. Please help.

  8. Somem objetos em branco na hora de exportar/imprimir

    Estou há meses enfrentando este problema com o Illustrator. Objetos em branco, sejam eles icones ou textos estavam sumindo na hora que eu convertia para jpg e outros formatos de imagem e na hora que enviada o arquivo para a impressora. Comecei a analisar atalhos por meses para identificar qual era o problema e como conseguiria resolver, visto que isso ocasionava em atrasos nas minhas entregas de artes.   9. CS２形式（AI、EPS）で保存したファイルが、IllustratorCS2で開けない。

    Illustrator2024（v28.7.1）を使用して、CS２形式（AI、EPS）で保存したファイルをIllustratorCS2で開けません。
    メモリが足りないというエラーが発生します。

    Illustrator2023には同様の問題はありません。

  10. Illustrator 28.4 does not preserve SVG object hierarchy

    Starting with Illustrator 28.4, the object hierarchy is not preserved when saving and re-opening an SVG file. Many groups are created for no apparent reason.

    This makes Illustrator completely impractical for editing SVG files. I will have to stay at 28.3 until this error is fixed.

  11. Export to SVG adding spurious characters to gtags from layer names which start with numbers

    When exporting to svg if the layer name in Illustrator starts with a number when it comes out the other end as a gtag in the svg it is adding spurious characters. For example if a layer name starts with 0Yx it is coming out in the svg as _30Yx This then means that downstream where the application is expecting 0Yx it's not working as _30Yx is there instead. This has only started recently with the new version of Illustrator and the only work round is to close Illustrator 2024 and export using Illustrator 2023

  12. When using Export As SVG in 28.5 and 28.6, underscores get replaced with '_x5F_', unlike in 28.4 and earlier

    When exporting to .svg, '_x5F' text is added to one of the layers, which then changes the order that things are displayed.
    I do not understand how this text is now added and would like to prevent it from happening.

  13. Placing an SVG file with View->Snap to Pixel enabled distorts the image

    If I place an SVG file with View->Snap to Pixel enabled, some of the coordinates are displaced. See uploaded example, produced using version 28.3 (64-bit) on Windows 11. Unfortunately, the uservoice website won't let me upload a sample file.

  14. File name resets when I switch to saving as a cloud document

    I'm working on a file locally called filename_v01.ai and decide to create a new version.

    I hit Save As, and change it to "filename_v02.ai"

    Before hitting save in the same folder, I decide to save to cloud instead. I select "Save Cloud Document"

    The Save to Creative Cloud window opens up. All is well except it has ignored my filename change - it's called "filename_v01.aic"

    This happens in both directions and would be good to fix

    No permite exportar ninguna mesa de trabajo, mediante la herramienta de (Exportar Como) y (Guardar para web), existe un error: "No se puedo escribir en el archivo debido a un error".

  17. When linking HEIC files with the HEIC extension on Windows, if the files are nested, they cannot be open

    When linking HEIC (HEIF) files with the HEIC (HEIF) extension on Windows, there is a bug that if the files are nested, they cannot be opened in the link window.

  18. Speicherung ungenügend

    Ich kann nicht mehr normal speichern, weder in Illustrator noch im Photoshop. Dort erscheint immer nur das schwarze Bild...ich muss Umwege gehen um speichern zu können.

  19. Adobe Illustrator 28.1 creates a pdf where the colour space of the custom profile is incorrect

    Hello,

    Yesterday, after installing the new Adobe Illustrator update to version 28.1
    the error I reported earlier came back.
    When saving a file with a custom profile
    to PDF-X4, the Output Intent profile is incorrectly saved.

  20. Can not "Save As" in Adobe Illustrator

    I'm using macOS Sonoma 14.1 on a iMac 27-inch monitor.
    After I upgraded to Sonoma I can not "Save As" any illustrator files in Illustrator 2023 or 2024. I can only save as if I open a previous file that I have saved on my hard drive before upgrading. I have made sure that I have "read/write" privileges but still no luck on saving new file unless I save it to iCloud. Has anyone had the same problem.
