1. Illustrator 23.0.1 hangs on start up

   Tried launching Illustrator this morning and it just keep hanging on start up. Blue spinning wheel. I tried uninstalling, and then reinstalling the app, but still hangs.

   Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core 3.60 GHz
   RAM: 16 GB
   Windows 10 Pro

2. Illustrator and InDesign take forever to load

   Since 'upgrading' to CC2019, it takes about 5-8 minutes for Illustrator to open after the splash screen appears, during which time the task manager shows it using 0.8MB RAM and 0% CPU. InDesign won't even show the splash screen until after Illustrator has opened, then it takes a few minutes after the process appears, using very little in the way of resources. The total system usage at this time, for all applications, is between 8 and 34% RAM and up to about 25% CPU. Older versions did not have this problem. I have this problem on multiple systems, the weakest of which has 32GB DDR4 RAM, a Core i7 9700 CPU, and a GeForceFX 1060 GTX with 6GB VRAM, running Windows 10 x64 Pro on a Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVME drive. Photoshop opens within about 1-2 seconds of showing the splash screen, and all programs are responsive and quick once actually opened. I have tried deleting Preferences, even going so far as to manually edit the registry, a process with which I have more than a little familiarity. The CC2018 apps did not have this problem.

3. Illustrator will not open a second file from Bridge, or In Design (edit original)

   ex. Starting with both Illustrator and Bridge closed. 1. I open Bridge. 2. I double-click an Illustrator file, it opens fine. 3. I go back to Bridge and double-click another illustrator file, and Illustrator will not open it. This file should open as a new file (tab) within Illustrator.
   This happens with "Edit in Original" from In Design also. It works the first time, (opens up Illustrator), but not a second time. I have to close Illustrator for this interoperability to work.

5. intro page won't disappear

   Opening Illustrator 2019, I see the intro page with my recent work. I click to open it, and it seems to "think" the document is open - I can see my un-embedded layers panel full - but the intro page won't disappear. I can't close it, the arrow next to the AI icon won't collapse it, and I can't work without quitting the app and trying to reopen again. Does the same thing whether I open from the Finder or from the Intro page. MacPro 2012 (5,1) upgraded CPU and GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 - flashed). I realize it's not a "supported" GPU, but it's worked on everything else. Still on MacOS 10.12.6 Sierra.

6. Illustrator crashing wheen trying to open any document

   illustrator crashes as soon as i open it, I resently uppdated windows to 1809 and i have the latest illustrator updates. I tried diffrent ways to uninstall and remove both CC and illustrator with CC-cleaner and by following instructions on how to delete illustrator completly and reinstalling it again with no diffrence in result (still crashing). I cant say that my computer is the latest or the strongest but it worked for the first week then suddenly it started crashing.

   I have a lenovo laptop with an 6:th gen i5, 8gb ram, ssd-storage and integrated graphics.

    I do have one suggestion – please reset preferences and try again. Found the following in your crash report.

11. Illustrator 2018 Version 22.1 Opening multiple-page PDF - Artboard Issue

    Opened multiple-paged PDF file to show all pages as artboards
    Saved file as PDF after editing (another name)
    Opened said PDF file and all pages as artboards show up as default

12. AI CC 2018 cannot launch

    Hello,

    When I want to start illustrator, a first error message appears: (aip.png on attachment)

    After clicking on "next",
    a second message appears twice and then asks me to send an error report to Adobe. (impossible ai.png on attachment)

    I managed to run AI CC 2018 in safe mode but it lacks a lot of things like the toolbar. what should I do?

14. Illustrator freezes all the time

    I am not able to use Illustrator at all. I have updated to the 2018 version. Every time I want to create new project or open existing one the program freezes. No matter if I have GPU Performance option on or off.

15. AIGPUSniffer quit unexpectedly.

    Adobe Illustrator CC 2018

    When trying to open Ai files through Bridge, I get this error:

    'AIGPUSniffer quit unexpectedly.'

    and the file fails to open. I don't experience this issue when opening the same file through finder or through the 'Open' dialog box.

    Reinstalling the app solved the problem.
