  1. An unknown error occurred, recovery failed

    I spend whole day to make my product finish, but the errors that occurred and everything was not be saved... it is really bad

  2. clipping mask on an image and vector

    in Illustrator when I use the clipping mask tool on an image with a vector with a gradient, so that the image has an effect of opacity of the image towards transparent, and I press g to edit the location of the gradient color, when I return With the selection tool, all the other contents that I have in the workspace are blocked and I cannot unlock or move them, I have to undo the movement of the gradient so that everything returns to normal, but I still need to do the function of the degraded.

  3. Rectangle and shape feature only has pixels as measurement even though Inches is selected in Preferences.

    I've updated to the latest Illustrator and old versions and new versions have this same issue. When creating a rectangle or shape, it only allows pixels instead of inches even though my preferences for units is selected for INCHES. This is absolutely annoying as I can 't even put in a size for printing like a business card or letter because it only wants pixels for measurements. I've been an Illustrator user for over 30 years and this bug is huge that apparently is not being addressed in previous releases.

  4. Missing diacritical marks in layer names

    CONCERNS POLISH SPEAKERS: I have found a bug in the layer panel: when naming layers, some diacritical marks are omitted (the problem does not occur in the layer palette options - there you can name layers using all the necessary diacritical marks).

  5. Gradient across open stroke with round cap is buggy (v.29.1)

  8. Illustrator 2025 file content missing when made in illustrator 2024

    When opening a .ai file made in illustrator 2024 into illustrator 2025 all contents seem to be missing, file can be reopened in illustrator 2024 displaying all editable content, however.

  9. Eyedropper set to pickup character style and color, changes text color.

    Can anyone please explain why this happens? It has bugged me for a long time. I have the eyedropper clearly set to pickup the color as well as character style. It always reverts to black.

  10. Unable to export to SVG using 'Export to Screens'

    I cannot export as SVG using 'Export to Screens', I just get unable to export files error. Only way to do it is 'Save As' SVG and change to SVG 1.0 (1.1 doesn't work).
    Very frustrating!

  11. Unable to export to SVG using 'Export to Screens'

    I cannot Export to Screens using SVG - gives an error of 'unable to export following files'. I've tried a simple shape too and that doesn't work! The only way I can do it is to 'save as' SVG and change to SVG 1.0.

  12. Font Selection Panel Stuck on top of the Artboard/Application

    Selecting font panel is stuck on the screen. Tried 'Reset Essentials' but the font panel does not go away. Able to work on the artboard and its contents like normal but the font selection panel is irresponsive to attempts in moving it. When going in Properties panel and changing font of a text there, the dropdown is bugged out (can only change font if you type font name).

    Only after quitting application did the font selection panel disappear.

  14. Libraries help guide every startup

    Everytime i open illustrator I have to click through the libraries "what's new" guide This is getting insanely annoying. I have already reset preferences and also completely wiped adobe from my pc and started fresh.

  16. Braille fonts are displaying incorrectly after latest update (29.1)

    After doing the latest update, one particular font I use is displaying at a different spacing to what it was in the previous versions of illustrator and is incorrect.

    Its a slight difference but I deal with braille on medicine so this is required to be very accurate. I have attached an example but am unable to upload the font, which is a unique braille font for our company.

    I have gone back to the previous version of Illustrator for now to resolve this.

  17. .ai、.epsファイルを開いたときにIllustrator全体が透明になる

    ■ 使用している Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
    バージョン：バージョン29.1
    PC：Mac Book Pro （チップ Apple M4 / OS：Sequoia 15.0）

    ■ 問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    .ai、.epsファイルの読み込み
    ①ローカルファイルを右クリック、このアプリケーションで開く＞Illustratorを選択
    ②Illustratorを起動後、ファイル＞開くよりファイル選択
    いずれの手順も実行済み

    ■ 想定していた結果
    .epsファイルまたは.aiファイルが開く

    ■ 実際の結果
    添付ファイル参照ください

    ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
    ■ 試したこと
    ・Illustratorのバージョンダウン
    ・Illustratorの環境設定のリセット
    ・Illustratorのアンインストール
    ・Mac Book再起動

    ■ その他
    ・アプリケーション起動後、新規ファイル作成は可能
    ・アプリケーション起動＞新規ファイル作成後、.aiファイルの読み込みは可能
    ・新規ファイル作成後、.epsファイルの読み込みを行うと添付2枚目の事象が発生

    以上の事象について解決手順をご存知でしたらご教示ください。
