2. Locked and/or hidden objects still become selected

   The object is locked and/or not visible, yet when the layer is selected, all objects including the locked and hidden objects become selected and move when they should not.

3. Saving to Creative Cloud is Changing My Patterns

   This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.
   Attached is a picture of 2 circles on a background (shield your eyes, it isn't pretty :-)). When I make the pattern - in this case, the circles were drawn with the blob brush - the inside of the 2 circles is empty and we can all see the background. It's a ring. When I pull that pattern out of swatches, however, it will color in that background. In this one, it's black. It changes depending on the pattern and the colors I'm using. And it is not consistent. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it happens to just some motifs in a design and not others.
   After countless tries to figure out what it is, it does appear to be that patterns saved to Adobe's Creative Cloud will have this happen, whereas if I save it to my computer, it will not. Thank you for the help!

4. Maintain graph styles when updating data (bar graph issue)

   Issue with bar graphs:
   All styling is removed when data is updated. Can you make it so it at least retains bar width and color?

5. Path render error

   See screenshot. All I did was add opacity to a path and it renders it like this. Happens all the time since I updated.

6. Tile printing cuts image off.

   I have attempted to tile print an image from Illustrator at least 6 times. No matter what settings, it cuts off about 1/8-1/4" of the image. I have been tile printing for decades and now the feature doesn't work correctly. Please inquire. I'm extremely frustrated.

8. Recent work thumbnails are missing on the welcome page

   When I launch my latest version of the Desktop illustrator app there are no more visible the thumbnails of the recent work. Please bring it back.

9. The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PARM]

   macOS Big Sur 11.5.2

   • Launch Illustrator.
   • New Project.
   • Add shapes, or text.
   • Select all.
   • Rasterize.
   • Click Object to reach Trace.

   Tested on a New Admin User with the same result.
   NVRAM Reset
   Safe Mode
   Recovery Mode/Disk Utility/First Aid
   Tried with different project files and formats (.ai, .pdf) with the same problem.

10. Inconsistent undo behavior when making a compound shape with a clipping mask

    I understand this may not be as common a use-case, but while trying to figure something out, I was puzzled when undo did not return to the state I was expecting. Below are the steps to reproduce this issue:

    Create a shape, such as a rectangle. Give it a color.
    Create a different shape and place it somewhere overlapping the first shape. Give it a different color.
    Select both shapes and create a Clipping Mask by right-clicking and selecting "Make Clipping Mask"
    You should now see only the overlapping parts of both shapes, as expected.
    Open the Pathfinder panel and click on the menu icon and choose "Make Compound Shape".
    The outlines of both shapes should be visible.
    Undo, and the overlapped clipped shape step is skipped and instead, only the first shape is colored and the selection is a group, which was never made.
    Undo again and the second shape is colored.

    I'm not sure what the expected result should be. Maybe as if they were never clipped at all? To be honest, I was looking for something like the Merge function, without creating empty fill shapes. This doesn't do anything like that though.
    It looks like instead of making a Clipping Mask on redo, it's just grouping? I've provided a video.

    My system is Windows 10, 20H2, 19042.1165.
    Illustrator version is 25.4.1

13. SLOW PERFORMANCE - MACBOOK M1

    I have a brand new MacBook M1 running Big Sur. 11.2.3
    The performance with vector objects is terrible!
    Even with turning off layers, moving basic objects (2x text boxes, 2x lines and a 2x rectangles) its almost crashing Illustrator.

    I try to arrow and there's a 6 second delay.
    I try to undo, there's a 10 second delay.

    This is terrible. Seriously what have you guys done to the Adobe suite?
    I've just replace a 2017 MacBook Pro with this system, because you claimed my old laptop isn't up to ""modern programs" - clearly this is a adobe problem.

    Illustrator: 25.2.3

14. Action batch saving with data sets does not put out multiple files

    I updated to version 25.4 and had a file with multiple data sets. I have an action that saves as a PDF and I wanted to "batch" this action as I have done multiple times in the past to create multiple PDFs.
    However, now only one file gets saved and it gets overwritten constantly when the action repeats. The saved file name is whatever the file was saved as when recording the action, so it is not even the data set name.

    I have now reverted to the oldest version I could find which was 24.3 and it is working in this version.

16. Duplicated symbols reverts to originals / or not!!

    Illustrator 25.3.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4

    Let's say I have 3 symbols, A, B and C.

    A is the original symbol in my external Symbol Library file (blue in the attached video)
    B is that symbol, imported into my current file and modified (I changed it to green in the video)
    C is a duplicate of B, in my current file, also modified (red in the video)

    When I copy C, I expect C to be pasted. But it's actually B.
    (in the video, red is copied but green is pasted)

    Moreover, when I try to "reimport" the original A (blue) by clicking on it in my Symbol Library panel, it thinks it's already in the file, when in fact it's B. Or when I drag and drop it, it imports B onto the Artboard.
    Which means that when I modify symbols (which I do all the time), I can't access the original anymore.
    Is it a conflict because they have the same name? And no I don't want to rename my Bs and Cs everytime I modify a Symbol.
    It used to work just fine as you expect it to in Illustrator 22. It's pretty annoying. ;-)

17. Optical kerning changes when opening AI file in Illustrator 2021

    Opened an AI file created April 2021 (using Optical kerning) to make changes. Kerning looks ok when I first open the file, but when I click on the text, the kerning changes significantly.
    The font used is Georgia. Mac OS 10.15.7. Illustrator 2021 25.3.1. I had to open the file in Illustrator 2020 and copy the kerning values between the letters. I then opened the file in Illustrator 2021, changed from Optical to Metric and entered the kerning values from the Illustrator 2020 file.

18. Grid View fails to render grid lines at various zoom levels.

    I am experiencing a persistent problem with Gridlines not rendering correctly at larger zoom levels (for several weeks now).

    Adobe Illustrator (25.3.1)/Preferences/Guides & Grid:
    Gridline every: 72px
    Divisions: 18
    Grids In Back: Checked
    Show Pixel Grid (Above 600% Zoom): Checked

    As you can see in the attached screen shot (800% Zoom) that is not a grid.

    Please confirm or deny the bug is fixed in the latest build of Illustrator.

19. Artwork disappears when zoomed in

    Whenever I am zooming in (2400% +), my artwork disappears and the who canvas turns gray. If I mouse over my artwork, i'll see a very pixelated outline of my artwork. I've attached a screenshot of my issue. I've tried restarting my MBP, uninstalling and reinstalling AI. I've tried closing out AI and reopening– but nothing I am doing is fixing this issue. Please help, I need to continue working on client projects.

    再現ファイルのご提供、および追加情報のご提供により、画面表示のグレーアウト現象を再現確認いたしました。

    ・使用マシンが Intel Mac
    ・環境設定の GPU パフォーマンスが無効
    ・複数ドキュメントを開いている
    ・開いている2番目以降のドキュメントで 1200% 以上にズームする

    上記のすべての条件が揃うと再現されますが、ズームアウトすると表示が戻ります。
    また、GPU パフォーマンスを有効にするほか、単一ドキュメントを開いてでの作業で現象を回避できます。
    この現象は、M1 Mac（M1 ネイティブ、および Rosetta 起動）では再現しません。

    今後、詳細な検証作業を行います。
    情報のアップデートがありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。
