  1. Scale Tool dialog shows random values when real-time drawings is enabled

    To recreate is problem: First enable Real-time drawing. Then draw a box. With the Scale Tool window open, uniform scale the box 400%. Duplicate that box by holding down OPTION key while click and dragging the box. Click on the second box and open the Scale Tool window: when I do this I no longer see 400% in the scale percentage, instead I find completely random numbers and sometimes it selects non-uniform. This gets annoying after a while.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  2. Icon enlarge for no reason

    This has been a little bit of a problem. I have latest version of Adobe Illustrator version 24.1.2 running macOS Catalina 10.15.4. It a little annoying and I thought the next update would have solve the issue but it did not. Here is a bug that is strange. Thanks!

  3. Common Dialog Boxes lag: saves each step from Dialog Box

    – MacOS Mojave 10.14.1
    – AI 24.1.2

    The problem appears in ALL dialog boxes in Illustrator: from transforming to changing colours.

    For example I want to move my object 10px to the left. I open the Dialog Box, all the Positions are 0, Preview is on. I enter 10px, the object moves to 10 px. But, for example, that isn't enough for my artwork, and i'm entering then 12px instead of 10px, in the same dialog box.

    And then the "magic" happens.

    Let's say the original position of the object is 0. When I enter 10px, the position changes also…

  4. Updated UI has some issues - Tired of Updating - Tired of Bugs

    Happy that Adobe continues to try to update the products. That being said I'm a little worn. I constantly get notifications from Adobe Creative Cloud App about updates and there seems to be some issues. Still working out of a previous version of InDesign for numerous reasons. Weirdly found all of my Creative Cloud docs (of which there's not too many luckily) in the trash can this AM. I was able to recover a heart skip and waste of time later. Additionally the Illustrator Update... Well... Just looks sloppy. Help me, help you... And give us a good products with…

  6. To page view or workspace view rotate option

    Ever try to work on a building drawing that's flopped 90° to the right because your overprice copy of Adobe Illustrator doesn't have the option to SIMPLY rotate the view?

  9. Using tool shortcut adds icon to all toolbars

    I want to have customized toolbars that only show the tools I've specified. However, when I select a tool via a shortcut, e.g V for Selection Tool, that icon is then added to my custom toolbars. Very frustrating and distracting.

  12. report a bug

    Mac OSX 10.15.3, on a MacBook Air
    I have 2 screens. Built in and Cinema Display (It's stacked above).
    When Illustrator is expanded to full screen on the Cinema Display, the fx button doesn't show it's menu option. If the application window is less than the full height of the screen, it shows up. Note: My Appearance panel was at the bottom of the screen, so the fx button is at the bottom of the display.

  13. Welcome Home Screen Preset Icons Oversized

    1. MBP running Mojave 10.14.6 and Illustrator 24.1
    2. Launching Illustrator – Home Screen appears as expected
    3. Have my prefs set to display Home Screen when no documents open
    4. Icons representing default presets [Letter, Postcard, Common, etc] are not positioned above the labels/sizes as they usually are [see attached screenshot]

  14. when I open Illustrator there are no tools showing

    I can't see my tools in Illustrator and I can't change or reset my Workspace :(

    I'm able to add some things like the Toolbar and Swatches/Layers/Etc windows, but I'm never able to see it complete, with that top bar that includes the Align + Transform + Etc

    Usually setting the Workspace to Essentials Classic does the job... please help!

  15. duet for iPad pen stroke and pressure not working in illustrator (it does in photoshop)

    using iPad and "duet" to provide pen stroke and pressure (using wacom drivers on the mac/adobe side). This DOES work in photoshop so the connection is working but it does NOT work in illustrator.

  16. Mouse scroll doesn't work in Window, Object, other top menus

    Not only these menus, but every menu, I guess, but Window is the main one where it really happens, when you have a lot of plugins installed.
    AI then draws arrow at the top and the bottom of the menu panel, and the only option to scroll it is by pressing these arrows with mouse.
    So
    1. Please allow mouse wheel to scroll it.
    2. Please allow us to choose between 'one panel, arrows' mode and 'unfolding panels' mode.

  17. Distribute spacing value field doesn't show units anymore

    The field used to show units (like '50 mm') in version 23.
    In 24 it says just '50' with no 'mm' after.
    If you type in your own unit, it won't recalculate in current units, as every other field in AI can do.

  18. Reporting error on translation to Spanish

    I want to report a translation error (Spanish version) in the last version of AI that I've installed.I cannot find where to report it in the web, through a form or similar, so I decided to publish it here. I will write it in Spanish because is related to the Spanish version.

  19. Changing/removing "View using GPU/CPU" does not take effect.

    I use the command + e shortcut for another function, but no matter how many times i remove or change this shortcut from "View using GPU/CPU" it immediately reverts back.

    It got resolved by assigning the new shortcut for 'View using GPU/CPU' / removing the old. Can be treated as a solution, but it’s still unclear how Illustrator allowed two identical hotkeys exist at the same time (usually a warning gets displayed, and the older command gets blanked). So if anyone has the same problem — please comment.

  20. Illustrator 2020 v24.1.1 - "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" can't save new symbol

    I tested the new Real-Time Drawing and Editing feature today and found that once I finished my drawing, dragging it over to the Symbols pane to create a new symbol as I normally would resulted in the attached error.

    This was the first bit of work I had done since enabling this new feature so I suspected it was the cause and I moved on to two other projects to confirm. One of those worked correctly - the simpler project - and the other did not. So two out of three drawings could not be turned into symbols, and the…
