1. Font not automatically updating embedded Font

   I am using an exported PDF from Autodesk Inventor where there is an embedded Font included but not showing i original PDF.
   I use Illustrator for Finetuning the PDF and also for updating the font.
   this last thing normally goes automatically when opening, Illustrator changes/updates it directly.
   Since today it didn't work, I was frustrated but then I tried downgrading to 27.1 and this did the trick.

   Please can you get this back straight and repair this.

2. PC performance issues when using the Shape Builder tool on dxf files (or vector format).

   When using the shape builder tool against a dxf file (or vector format), the CPU usage is not high and not working.

   When using Simplify on a dxf file (or vector format) to reduce the number of paths, the CPU usage increases to approximately 100%, confirming that the CPU is working correctly.
   This behavior makes sense since the calculations are done by the CPU since it is a vector format.

   However, when using the shape builder tool, the CPU and GPU functions are not used.
   I was checking the resource monitor and the CPU and GPU usage was about 3%~5%.

3. When checking spelling, Illustrator does not move to the selected area of the page making it harder to see the "error" in context.

   Have the viewable are move to the offending spelling like it does with InDesign.

4. Pinch Zoom

   Pinch zoom stops working after using it a few times, using shortcuts on the keyboard sometimes resolves the issue but now the shortcut 'zoom out' seems to not be working either. Having to go to the tool bar to zoom in and out slows down a project a lot. Hopefully this will be resolved soon, I have updated to the newest illustrator version in hopes it would fix it but it seems it's only made it worse.

   Using MacBook Pro (2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7) IOS Ventura version 13.2
   Illustrator V. 27.2

7. Color Mismatch when copy/pasting within Ai

   In 27.2, copy/paste, while staying in Ai gives a color profile mismatch warning.

   This is weird and should never happen. It also asks to Merge color swatches.

8. パスのオフセットが出来なくなってしまった

   文字をアウトライン化して、パスのオフセットを実行すると全部同じ色になってしまう。色の変更をしても内側外側全て同じ色になってしまう

9. Crazy rays produced when selecting a path with many anchor points

   When selecting a path with lots of anchor points (1000+) I've been getting crazy rays bursting from the path in all directions in a huge multitude of colors. It's been happening for about a 2 months now. Mainly happens when using group selection tool. All functionality and visibility of the art is lost when this happens and I need to deselect all art in order to carry on. I've attached some images of what the screen looks like when this happens.
   AI version 27.0.1
   Mac OS 13.0.1
   Mac 3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
   128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

11. Zooming is broken when in the middles of creating a path

    I am new to illustrator but have found that on mac if you use alt/option + scroll while using the curvature tool or pen tool, it wont zoom you immediately, it will do it afterwards. if you were to do it even a little bit it wouldn't happen until you are done with the stroke. once it activates its almost seizure inducing with how fast it zooms an unzooms. I don't know if this is a mac only issue or a software issue but it can not only be annoying but just outright time wasting. i use adobe illustrator version 27.2. the zoom should just zoom even while your in a stroke not afterwards.

12. Applescript Artboard Name no longer works

    Getting/Setting name of artboard no longer works. It used to work fine. It is an issue with class of properties. All options Fail.
    1. name of (get properties of artboard 1) -- error
    2. get item 7 of properties of artboard 1 -- error
    3. name of artboard 1 -- always failed

    If you insert «class bAl9» in place of Name and compile, it does not fail however will fail next time since the dictionary replaces it with Name

13. Pattern image is not copied to clipboard

    When copying an asset to clipboard (using Ctrl/Cmd + C) SVG data in clipboard doesn't have custom image pattern. However, if the asset is exported the image pattern is included in the SVG file.

    MacOS Monterey 12.5 Apple M1 Pro

    Expected result: Clipboard data is the same as exported data and includes the image pattern.

14. It's 2022. Can we get some glaring, long standing bugs fixed please?

    There are long standing user requests for all of these:

    • 'Export for Screens' still adds extra pixels on exports unless the artboards are placed to exact pixels

    • Artboards can't be moved to snap to exact pixels, meaning if you move artboards you probably have to manually remove any decimal places in the artboard position, or else Illustrator will add extra pixels on export...

    • Smart Guides show up when creating or moving artboards, but don't actually work because creating or moving Artboards doesn't snap

    • Artboard names will randomly revert back to old names

    • In the Export for Screens dialog box, Artboard names sometimes show older versions of the artboard name.

    • Smart Guides are still a mess. Items snap to the wrong objects, there's no clear definition of what's being snapped to.

    • We STILL don't have 'Reveal in Explorer/Finder' in the links panel, despite this being under review since 2017 and an obvious feature for Illustrator

    • The 'Export for Screens' panel doesn't allow you to change compression settings or create custom presets

15. Rotate View Tool - Alt + Transform

    Using the alt+tranform and the rotate view together is impossible because the object flickers between dramatically different sizes.

    Replicate this bug by using the rotate view tool and rotating the view 180 degrees. When in this view, hold down alt and try to transform an objects scale. The object will flicker between sizes making it impossible to transform using alt.

16. 複数のアートボードをPNGで書き出しする際に、裁ち落としが反映されない

    Windows10、バージョン26.5
    複数のアートボードを作成し、「書き出し形式」より、「アートボードごとに作成」にチェックを入れ、pngファイルとして書き出ししました。
    ドキュメントで裁ち落としが設定されているにもかかわらず、裁ち落としが反映されませんでした。

17. Discover panel’s videos don’t have Full Screen button

    OK, I am a new user and want to use Discover to make some learning.
    Illustrator shows me the video of steps I need to perform.
    How on Earth am I going to view these that small, if I am not familiar with the UI? What good do they make being shrunk like this?

    Also, when you try to see maybe the cog button has something useful, the video covers the menu. Just great.

    And even if you find the 'Read article in a browser' link, it’s somewhere deep below, and you have to scroll all the way down.
    Good job helping new users.

18. Properties panel shows "no selection" when object is selected

    I'm using Illustrator version 27.1.1 on windows 10 64 bit.
    When selecting and object, the Properties panel shows "no selection" and some crucial features (like the reflecting buttons) are missing.

    I'm attaching a screenshot, where you can see that there is an object selected, but it doesn't appear as such in the Properties panel.

20. "NEW ART HAS BASIC APPEARANCE" APPEARANCE panel options NOT working for BRUSH

    On the desktop version of Illustrator.....

    When you use the pencil tool with 'NEW ART HAS BASIC APPEARANCE" set in the APPEARANCE panel options, any subsequent/new pencil art has a basic appearance as it is supposed to.

    When you use the pencil tool with 'NEW ART HAS BASIC APPEARANCE" NOT set in the APPEARANCE panel options, any subsequent/new pencil art has the same appearance as the last made pencil stroke as it is supposed to.

    THESE TWO 'NEW ART HAS BASIC APPEARANCE" SETTINGS in the APPEARANCE panel options unfortunately DO NOT WORK this way when using the Brush tool.

    The Brush tool ALWAYS reverts back to the previously drawn brush stroke settings REGARDLESS of the 'NEW ART HAS BASIC APPEARANCE" settings in the APPEARANCE panel options.

    (On the ipad version of Illustrator none of these APPEARANCE settings/options are even available, where EVERY stroke simply reverts to BASIC APPEARANCE, which is annoying in the other direction!)

    On the desktop version of Illustrator.....
