1. レイヤーの前後関係を無視して”線”が表示されます。書き出し後も問題あり。

   レイヤーの前後関係を無視して”線”が表示されます。（画像参照）

   プレビューの問題かと思い、書き出してみましたが書き出し後も線の表示に問題があります。

   制作の都合上、表示-アウトラインを多用し切り替えて表示します。
   単なる処理負荷によるものかと思いましたが、今回2度目だったので報告させていただきます。

   以下してみたことです。

   ［→再度、開き直してみる］
   開いてすぐは正常に表示されます。ひとつでもオブジェクトを操作すれば問題が発生し、レイヤーを無視した表示になってしまいます。

   ［→別PCで開いてみる］
   クラウド共有したデータを別デバイスで開いた際も問題が見られます。

   ［個人的な解決方法］
   オブジェクトを別ファイルにコピーし直して解消

   Adobe Illustrator2023 27.2
   MacBook Pro 2019 15inch MacOS Monterey 12.5
   iMac 2014 MacOS Big Sur 11.6.8

2. Illustrator does not insert images from Telegram by drag&drop

   When I try to drag and drop an image from Telegram into Illustrator, it inserts the text of the temporary file path instead of the image.

   Note that drag&drop from Telegram to Photoshop works correctly. The same method can be used to drag and drop images to the desktop or other applications.

   Mac OS 12.6 (but I have tested it on Windows too)
   Illustrator 26.5 (but also tested with previous versions)

3. Direct Selection Tool not working

   I'm on a Macbook pro (macOS Big Sur version 11.7) using Adobe Illustrator 2023.
   When using the direct selection tool and clicking on an object or path, the anchors don't show up and the object/path does not look like it is selected. However, if I run my mouse around the edge of the object/path then the anchors will show up when the mouse is hovered above it and I can select the specific anchor. However the handles don't show up.
   What can I do to fix this?
   I've tried restarting my computer and resetting my preferences but the problem still persists.

4. Effects gallery not working on Mac, It did work but after last update its not doing anything

   I am using a Mac and since the last update for illustrator my effects are not working, It doesn't do anything.

5. Library not updating once stock asset is purchased

   I have had a recurring issue for at least 18 months now (and across several updates of Illustrator). I use previews of stock images on drafts of layouts and then when I purchase the chosen image - clicking on the cart icon on the image in the Library panel, completing purchase - the preview image does not updated to a licensed image. I have to go into my account via a web browser, navigate to licensed images, download the file and manually drag it into my library. The cloud icon at the bottom left of the Library panel says it's up to date, but this is never the case. Help!

6. Blend snaps back when you move an object

   When you move one of the objects after having created a blend, the new position doesn't stay. Instead the blend snaps back and the outline of the object stays in the new position. Described in this thread with videos:

7. Smart Object from Illustrator to PS not working after Mac Ventura 13.2.1 update

   Copy and pasting a vector file from Illustrator into Photoshop as a smart object no longer saves the way it used to. In Photoshop, when I wanted to make a change to the smart object, I would double click on it in the layers panel, it opens in Illustrator, make a change, cmd + s to save, back to Photoshop and the smart object would update. Now after updating to Ventura 13.2.1, the process is the same, but after saving and returning to Photoshop, my fonts show up differently. Screenshots included.

   Has anyone else encountered this?

   The problem got resolved when fonts got activated for Photoshop in the font manager app.

   It seems that for some reason Photoshop does not warn users about missing fonts in smarts, although it should not be relevant, since Ps reads the PDF content from a smart to render it...

   Needs further investigation. If you have updates on this — please comment.

8. Resaving a file that is being currently saved makes it loose changes

   Steps: Save and Save As

   While the file is processing the save, if you save a copy or with another name, the changes made in that initial save are completely lost (in some update this problem appeared, in the past it was not like that).

   Illustrator 25.4.8
   Mac OS 10.14.6 (18G4032)

9. Still unable to handle screen magnification in Windows

   When opening Illustrator 2023 on my 4K monitor with a 1080p monitor also attached, in Windows 11, most of the opening dialog is scaled way off the screen. There is no way to drag the window far enough up to get to the Cancel and Close buttons making it virtually impossible to start a new document. This is another example of how poorly illustrator deals with screen magnification and high resolution monitors. Trying to open the window on my 1080p monitor is significantly worse.

10. Illustrator not saving properly

    Saving our work is a MAJOR issue! Since updating, I'm having different ones. Sometimes when I command/save, then reopen that file, the last change I made is gone. Now, when I do a save as, Illustrator only saves part of the file name I typed in..

    Attached are screen shots showing the file name I try to save it as, and the incorrect file name it saves as.

    WTF is up with this stuff? I'm no programmer, but how is it that major bugs like this come up with every new version? I am spending more time working around Adobe bugs than actually getting work done.

    A slash can’t be used in a file name. since it’s an OS reserved symbol.

    There are other symbols like this: < > : " / \ | ? *

11. Unable to save

    This is not an idea, it is a serious bug.
    Apple OS Mojave - latest version, Illustrator 2022 - latest version.

    Saving doesn't happen. Clicking File>Save As and nothing happens, no dialogue pops up, nothing. Trying shortcuts on the keyboard. Same. Trying to quit the program, shows File not saved/ I click Save FIle and it does nothing. So, unless I force quit, there is no way to close the program. Illustrator seems to not initiate any action on my attempts to perform a SAVE. It is a HUGE problem for my work!

12. freeze on save

    I have consistent problems with Illustrator 27.2 hanging/lagging (becoming entirely unusable, with any action resulting in a ca. 10-second wait) following saving. This seems to happen only if I happen to switch to another open window/program while saving is in progress. This has only been happening w/in the last few weeks, so perhaps connected to a recent update? The only way to correct the problem is to quit and restart Illustrator (even shutting down the individual file isn't sufficient). It happens whether or not I'm using an external monitor.

    I'm on a 2022 14" MBP, 16 GB RAM, Ventura 13.2

13. Illustrator error "An unknown error is detected" Windows 11 AI 2023 27.01

    "An unknown error has occurred" when trying to save a file in Windows 11, AI 2023 27.01

    Steps: Save or Save as
    Expected result: file gets saved
    Actual result: it doesn't. Get "An unknown error is detected" dialog

    Workaround: Under File > Document color mode… switch color mode from CMYK to RGB then back to CMYK

    Strange workaround. Ongoing issue

14. getSystemPath using CSInterface throws URI Malformed error

    I was trying to get the my documents folder path of the system using CSInterface getSystemPath function. It works in most of the cases. But it throws URI malformed error (refer the screenshot below), if the path of the documents folder contain characters from languages other than English.

    I debugged the CSInterface.js file at line 521. And I found that the below piece of code returns the path of the folder without encoding the characters from languages other than English.

    window.adobe_cep.getSystemPath(pathType)

    IN MY CASE:

    Path of documents folder: "C:\Users\sanjay\OneDrive - Élégante\Documents".

    window.adobe_cep.getSystemPath(pathType)
    // Returned value - "file:///C:/Users/sanjay/OneDrive%20-%20Ã%89lÃ%a9gante/Documents"
    // É is encoded as Ã%89

    encodeURI("C:/Users/sanjay/OneDrive - Élégante/Documents")
    // Expected value - "file:///C:/Users/sanjay/OneDrive%20-%20%C3%89l%C3%A9gante/Documents"
    // É is encoded as %C3%89

    decodeURI("Ã%89") throws URI malformed error.
    decodeURI("%C3%89") returns É.

    ISSUE:

    So, I guess it is the problem with the encoding of window.adobe_cep.getSystemPath(pathType). Is there any work around for this issue?

    SAME ISSUE WITH OTHER FUNCTION:

    I'm also facing the same issue with other scripting functions like "documentAfterActivate" CS Event which returns the path of active document if a document is opened. The path received is not encoded properly for characters other than English.

    VERSION INFO:

    CEP: 9
    Illustrator: 26.1 (2022) Also tried in 2023.
    OS: Windows 10

    フリーグラデーションがFinderプレビューに表示されません。
    表示されない形式はaiとpdfです。
    同じファイルを別のデバイスで確認したところ、最新のMacOS13で表示されないことが確認されました。

17. Preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" Not working

    Version 27.0 64bit

    This setting: Preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" has no effect.

    Illustrator is automatically numbering and bulleting, even when the setting is on or off.

    lo strumento contagocce non copia più lo stile di un tratto pennello, cioè non riesco a copiare un determinato stile da un tratto a l'altro è un bel problema, spero lo risolvano presto.
