1. Illustrator Apple Silicon Bug (Eyedropper issue)

   It is a weird bug that appear on "some file" which trasfered between M chip & Intel chip.
   (It caused lots bug when a file transferred between these 2 chips)

   You can see when I pick a color, it gives me a wrong color (red) which was never used in this file!

   The only way to figured out is ... pick more times ! D:

   Laptop Version：
   MacOS 13.2.1 (for now）

2. Exported TIFF files not showing layers

   When exporting TIFF files as different art boards only one layer displays.

   I found the cause was that one of the layers was selected. This is the only item that was showing in the exported files.

   By simply deselecting the layer the whole file exports properly as expected.

   The two exported files are from the same document…

   The one with just the blue background is the one with the background selected making it the only thing showing.

   The other file was from the same document with nothing selected displaying both flags and background.

4. Eyedropper random wrong results

   OSX 13.0.1
   Illustrator 27.1.1

   Attempting to pick up paragraph and character values of text with eyedropper. Test is built in a new document from a blank template, components pasted from a working file.
   Expected result: that selected text will end up with same values (font, color, size, lead, letterspacing) as sample
   Actual result: as far as I can see, completely random results. Sometimes the letterspacing is changed to a value neither the source nor the destination is set to. Sometimes nothing happens. In this video, the font color changes to a color that is not used in the document.

   I have had issues like this with Illustrator for years, but in recent updates this behavior had disappeared, and I had hoped the bugs had been fixed. Alas

5. シンボルをコピペするとコピーしたものと違うシンボルオブジェクトがペーストされてしまう

   Adobe Illustrator2022(26.5)

   問題が発生したときに実行していた手順：
   あるシンボルインスタンスをコピペすると、コピーしたものと違うシンボルインスタンス（シンボルパネルに登録してあるもの）が差し代わってペーストされてしまう。

   すべてのシンボルインスタンスがそうなるわけではない。
   Adobe Illustrator2020ではこのようなバグは発生しなかった。

   想定していた結果：
   コピーしたものと同じシンボルインスタンスがペーストされるべき

   実際の結果：
   コピーしたものと違うシンボルインスタンスがペーストされた

   hi, I have a bug in Illustrator.
   when I try to export an image by "save for web" method, the images becomes very sharp and text is unclear and little blurred and pixeled even when I edit it and scale. please fix it as soon as possible since I need to slice some parts of the artboard and I can't do it another way...

7. Can NOT see what is selected!

   Selecting an Object or text no longer gives any indication that it is selected! No handles, no highlighting. I updated to 27.5 and it seemed like it worked for a few clicks, but has reverted back. I can't see that it is a setting, and can't seem to get the expected behavior back. It is ridiculously difficult to work on a file when you have to just assume something is selected!!

   It happens if you accidentally toggle the View > Show Edges command with Cmd/Ctrl + H hotkey.

8. PDF error "This file is damaged" in the new Illustrator 2023 (27.0)

   In Adobe Illustrator 2023 (27.0), when attempting to open a PDF in illustrator, I get an error message and the file does not open. The error reads "This file is damaged" with no extra context or solution. The file refuses to open.

   The same file WOULD open on the previous Adobe Illustrator 2022 (I believe 26.5), and I would receive an error message (The document contains PDF objects that have been reinterpreted: An unknown shading type was encountered.) The file would then open, and then I could poke around the layers in order to get the vector shapes I needed (it seemed many clipping masks were hiding the shapes, but eventually they were all in there).

   Is there a reason this same PDF is no longer able to open in the new Illustrator?

10. Lenovo Ideapad opens Display settings instead of Align panel when Shift + F7 is pressed

    Help. I can't use the shortcuts properly. I press shift + f7 to open the align tool but it keeps open the display setting pop-up of the laptop.
    I'm using Lenovo ideapad 5.

11. quick keys for arrange disabled (but menu selection of arrange commands still operate)

    Mac Pro (late 2013) - ai 27.1.1 macos 12.6.3 -

    no conflicting system quick key found
    online forums suggested quitting safari, which did not work
    quitting everything else did not work either
    next step is system reboot, but this is a bug if it requires a system reboot.

12. Clipping Mask Shows Some Bugs

    Hi
    I’m using Illustrator CC (27.1.1) and macOS Monterey 12.3
    When I use a clipping mask, sometimes Illustrator shows hidden parts of images that are inside the clipping mask (that should be hidden). When I scroll through the artboards, bugs change shape. (Generally, images inside the clipping mask are effected by the transparency tool, screen, multiply...)
    Looking at the attached files you can see a clipping mask with some shapes inside.

14. Dashed lines changing style when exporting to SVG

    The latest update to AI has caused this issue. When exporting an svg with dashed lines, the svg's dashed lines either disappear or become dotted lines.

    Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise
    Adobe Illustrator version: 27.0
    Steps:
    1) Open Adobe Illustrator
    2) Create a new file
    3) Draw a line
    4) Open the properties window by going to Window > Properties
    5) Click on the Stroke option
    6) Check "Dashed Line" on
    7) Set the first "dash" to 10
    8) Make sure the rest of the "gap" and "dash" options are blank
    9) Go to File > Export > Export As
    10) Make sure the "Save as type" option is SVG
    11) Click Export button
    12) Set Stylng to Inline Style
    13) Set Font to SVG
    14) Set Images to Embed
    15) Set Object IDs to Unique
    16) Set Decimal to 5
    17) Keep Minify off and Responsive on
    18) Click OK

    If you open the SVG in the text editor, you'll notice "stroke-dasharray: 0 10;" in the styling of the line. It should say "stroke-dasharray: 10;" Unfortunately, it won't let me upload any sample files.

15. Changing color via Hex doesn't count as an action, so save does not update file

    When changing the color of a selected object, if you paste a hex number in to the color palette window and hit enter the object will change to the correct color. However, the program does not register this as an action/history change. So you can’t hit save and have the color change applied to the saved the file. This also is apparent in that it doesn’t become an “Undo Color” item under the Edit menu. Besides pasting a Hex color, I get the same bug if I type a Hex color in.

    Any other form of changing the color of the object works as expected:
    clicking a swatch
    adjusting the RGB or CMYK sliders
    using the RGB spectrum/eye dropper
    using the eyedropper tool to select color from other object

    All of these items log and action as an undoable step, and therefore after the color change the file is seen as revised and therefore can be saved immediately after the Hex color adjustment.

    Currently work around is to do and additional action after changing the color. For instance: copy/paste then delete the object selected in order to go through some history steps to get back to state of file after color change and then hit save.

    To summarize steps to replicate:
    Open existing file
    Select object(s)
    Adjust color fill by pasting or typing in a Hex color code, hit enter
    Object(s) will adjust to new color
    (at this point the application does not register under the edit menu that a new change has occurred)
    Therefore, hitting keyboard shortcut to Save file has no action (Save is gray in menu)

    The latest Beta 29.4.0.37 now correctly treats a document as changed when a color code is paste into the HEX field in the Color panel with an object selected.

    Please test it and comment back.

16. Problem with linked png files

    I opened a file I had last edited in January 2022 and it says there are a lot of missing files. Upon inspection it turns out only the png files are missing, jpegs are still linked. Now when I try to relink the missing files nothing happens. I'm taken back to the dialog box which said that the file is missing. There's no way for me to relink the pngs!

    OS: Mojave, 10.14.6
    Illustrator: 25.4.8

18. Save As dialog is too large and empty

    When I click save as the window is so large i cannot see the UI. I have checked the settings for the UI size and it is set to small. I also checked with multiple other screen resolutions and nothing could remedy the problem.

20. Document grid with dots fails to render clean pixels. GPU/CPU rendering differs.

    The dotted document grid renders differently between CPU and GPU modes. None of the alternatives renders perfect pixels in the selected grid color.

    CPU renders vertically lighter smeared dots.
    GPU renders horizontally smeared dots.
