1. Tools panel always in 2 colmun mode

   Whenever I start Illustrator the Tools Panel is always in 2 columns mode, regardless of how it was when I last closed the application. I much prefer the 1 column mode so I have to change it every time.

   Strangely this bug no longer happens if the "Show the Start Workspace when no documents are open" is enabled. Trouble is, I want it disabled that since makes Illustrator start faster.

2. Wacom Cintiq major problem

   Wacom Cintiq and Illustrator 22.0.1 doesn't work. Cintiq cursor is stopping to respond after 2 seconds. In other apps it works without problem. Issue appeared after latest update.

3. Layers Window Twirl Down Icon Issue

   I only know of this occurring on the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 for Windows 8.1. In the Layers Windows, there's a very slight graphical bug. A locked group within another locked group is expanded to show what it contains by pressing the sideways "V" shaped arrow to the group's left side. As expected, the arrow plays its animation of rotating into the downward "V" shape and expanding the group. However, when the locked group is compressed down again, the button to expand the group disappears and is unclickable until clicking off to another item in the Layers Window and then clicking back to the original group I was working with. This also appears to only be an issue in Windows. I first noticed this on September 29, 2017, and it's still occurring as of October 14, 2017.

5. Bounding box is incorrectly displayed on multiple highdpi displays

   When using multiple monitors with different Hi-DPI settings on Windows OS, the bounding box for the selected item is sometimes displayed incorrectly.
   I work on a dual display setup: my primary monitor is a 15.6inch 4K display @ 200% DPI scaling settings, and my second monitor is 24inch 2560*1440 display @ 125% DPI scaling.
   When working on a larger second monitor, the bounding box for a selected item is displayed at an incorrect position, which makes the work very difficult.

6. Home Screen shows incorrect data at start of month

   At the beginning of a month, the Home Screen reports inaccurate "last modified" dates on recently opened documents. For example, on 1st March, a document last opened on 28th February is reported as having been opened "1 month ago" instead of "1 day ago".

7. ADOBE: FOR GOD'S SAKE WILL YOU TRANSFER CUSTOM SETTINGS AFTER AN UPDATE ALREADY

   ADOBE IT IS 2024.

   FOR GOD'S SAKE -- AND THIS IS ALL CAPS BECAUSE I'M YELLING -- ADD THE FOLLOWING CODE TO ALL ILLUSTRATOR UPDATES:

   Copy <Old Custom Workspace AND Keyboard Settings> to <New Version>

   Okay? It can't be that friggin' complicated. I'm trying to write a PowerShell VBA to do it, and I'm not a coder.

   I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO MANUALLY GO IN AND TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHERE ALL MY CUSTOM SETTINGS ARE LOCATED AND THEN MANUALLY COPYING THEM TO THE UPDATED FOLDER.

   This might be too much for UX, but golly gee gosheroonies, why don't you create a folder called "Workspaces (Modified)" and have ALL custom settings stored in it, Workspaces, Keyboards, Menus, Toolbars.

   Oh wait, there IS such a folder, but custom settings are stored in there, in no subfolder at all, in various other subfolders.

   How about being consistent ? Even better, how about putting custom settings in a folder with the same name in the same location under ALL the Creative Cloud apps???????

   ADOBE IT IS 2024.

8. Reduce History Panel Minimum Width

   Please reduce the history panel minimum width.
   Currently it's wider than (almost?) all of the history step names.

   Ideally this panel width could reduce to just show the icons of each history step.

   Common actions like Move and Clear would benefit from icons better representing the changes made.

   All the different type adjustments would also benefit from displaying their corresponding icons from their respective panels (font size, letter spacing, line height, paragraph alignment etc.)

   The red part does not follow the operating system font, and the blue part correctly follows the operating system font. In Chinese Windows, the default font of the operating system is "Microsoft Yahei"

10. Giant splash screen ads in paid for, professional subscription is a BUG

    I am sick to death of the huge, intrusive, non-cancelable, and occasionally completely incapacitating ads popping up in a very expensive, professional, enterprise-level paid-for subscription. This is so unbelievably unprofessional and unconscionable in a paid subscription.

    I have been working for 10+ hours today in Illustrator and Photoshop, and have had several pop ups. But this one was the last straw. It nearly covered the whole screen. I can't close it and tell it never ask me this again, oh no, I can only request that it defer the annoying shill until the middle of another, future, equally tense deadline event.

    Last night at 2am, after a nearly 15 hour day, I had one pop up that had the "oh please do bother me with this again later" button off the screen, so there was NOTHING I could do. Thankfully after about 20 long, tense minutes I was able to save my drawings and close Illustrator to get rid of them.
    Yes I've turned off splash screen welcome and tool tips, but you know what? those are not tool tips, those are ADS. I've been using AutoCAD for over 30 years, but I'm new to Illustrator, so I kinda NEED the tool tips, at least the minimal hover ones so I can get a clue what a button is since I don't have it all memorized yet.

    There are hundreds of comments in your user groups and others going back years from your customers who are disrupted and enraged by this practice. What exactly are you getting out of it? I can choose a tutorial whenever I want, I don't need them shoved in my face. It surely isn't selling anything, I'VE ALREADY PAID.

    GIVE US THE COMPLETE METHOD TO END THIS PRACTICE without losing actual, useful functionality.

    Column for Turkish is Sütun; but it is misspelled and written as sütün.
    All sütün words must be replaced with Sütun.

12. Make Adobe products inclusive for people with vision problems.

    It is impossible to change the menu color (make it dark like the rest of the interface) in Illustrator even after editing the registry in Windows 11. Only the Effect menu changes color according to the system settings, the rest (File, Edit, Type etc) remain blinding-white, which is critically bad for people with vision problems.

    On mac OS, Illustrator version 27.8

    Scrolling horizontally using SHIFT key + mouse wheel, is broken, and appears to be an obvious mathematical error.

    Expected behaviour is for the view to scroll left or right.

    Actual behaviour is that is works at some zoom levels, say 300% or 400%, but at higher zoom levels it barely scrolls a few pixels, and at 100% or less, it scrolls the entire page or worse for the smallest increment of the mouse wheel.

    It seems clear that the zoom amount has been factored into the scroll amount inversely by accident.

    This is a rudimentary feature of the UI, and important. Also a seemingly quick one to find and correct.

    Am I right?

    Illustrator27.2(27.1.*)

    再配色ウインドウを開いた時に、下部の調整部分がRGBだとバーが短く表示されます。CMYKや他の調整モードに切り替えた後RGBに戻すとバーの長さは戻りますが、何度も切り替えているとRGBのバーのみがまた短くなることがあります。
    27.2にアップデートすることで解決するかと思いましたが解決していなかったので、前のバージョンの正確な数字を覚えていないのですが27.1.*でも同様でした。

15. Panels don’t stay where they were on the second monitor

    Since recent upgrade, NONE of the menu panels stay on screen. I use a second monitor for displaying attribute menus. Every time I now open Illustrator, these have disappeared and have to be reloaded. Very annoying.

16. Keyboard Shortcuts (hotkeys) get reset to blanks when Illustrator is updated to 2023

    All typical mac menu commands are not working in Illustrator 2023. Command 0, Command +, command N etc. are not working.

18. Using Illustrator “Paste In Front” creates a Find window on the Desktop

    Hi;
    I have recently begun having a paste in front (⌘F) issue in AI 2020.

    For DECADES I have been able to select an item and copy (⌘C) then paste in front (⌘F) to create a copy of the selection exactly on top that I can then step/move as needed.
    I have been doing this in the Illustrator 2020 application for years.

    Now when I’m in Illustrator and I hit the paste in front (⌘F), it takes me directly to the desktop and creates a Find window. (And Does Not Paste In Front!)

    I can use “Paste In Front” in the Edit pull down menu in Illustrator, just not the command key which I use constantly for this.

    Please tell me how to fix this.

19. Buttons hidden below view for print dialogue

    When my screen view is in large type, the print dialogue popup buttons become hidden out of view below the edge of my screen. It's impossible to resize the dialogue menu and it can't be moved up either. Using command- to make screen elements smaller doesn't make any change. I can make the screen resolution a smaller size, tho to see the whole window. But this defeats the purpose of having my screen settings on large b/c then I can't read the words in the dialogue box. 20. Paste operation does not properly ignore the null termination character of ANSI string

    During a paste operation to the art board, the final null termination character of the clipboard is not ignored, but rendered as part of the string used to compse the text object.

    I'm attaching an image of the clipboard contents, and I made a video to show the behavior. Under Windows, simply copy the value from the color dialog box and then click the desktop and paste.
