GPU preview crashes after a few minutes
After a few minutes with an open file the screen flashes white and GPU preview support goes away. The GPU preview is greyed out. Interestingly I don't need to restart Illustrator, I just need to shut the file down an re-open it then GPU preview is back. The files affected have embedded images within them. I have an Nvidia 3080ti graphics card with an AMD 5950x running latest versions of illustrator (happens with the beta too though it did seem to last longer before the white flash) all drivers and os up to date.. Compound paths not saving
When I make an object a compound path and then save as an SVG, when I go to open the file again, all of the compound paths have reverted to paths. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've tried an earlier version, I've done everything I can think of and still my SVG files will not retain compound paths. I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro, AI v27.2
1 voteIn SVG 'compound paths' are required to have at least two sub-paths (https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/paths.html). If a shape doesn’t have any holes, it gets saved as an ordinary single path, according the specification, since no sub-paths are presented, ands gets read back as a non-compound paths. Shapes with proper holes are kept as compound paths.

Loading an external swatch library file freezes the app every time.
Loading a external swatch library freeze the app every time. Loading swatches from a file does not.
The freeze replicated by different swatch library files. Both my swatch library files .ase and files are offline. Keyboard input in Properties Panel, Character section failure
Keyboard input in the Properties Panel will frequently stop working for me, and the only way to fix it is to restart the application. It's not a huge issue but it is quite irritating as I need to restart illustrator up to six times per hour to fix this.
In detail: keyboard input for character related dimensions will stop working. I am still able to delete input, but cannot add input using the keyboard (the delete key is the only key being registered by Illustrator in the Properties Panel). For example, if my text is set to 35pt font, I…1 vote -

와콤타블렛 PTH-660을 연결(블루투스나 USB연결 모두)하여 일러스트레이터를 사용시 어느정도 시간이 지나면 자동으로 일러스트레이터가 종료되고 다시 일러스트레이터를 실행시키면 복구할 파일을 복구하라는 팝업창이 뜬채로 실행됨. 한두번이 아니고 계속적으로 발생하기에 타블렛을 사용할 수가 없을 정도임. 충돌 문제 검토 부탁드립니다.

Grey rendering/latency issues MAC Ventura
since updating my MAC to Ventura I have been experiencing what seems to be graphics issues on Illustrator.
I am able to move the cursor over these grey areas which begins to erase them, however the next time I move positions more grey areas appear.

Stroke width is scaled along with the element it is applied to
The stroke width is scaled along with the element it is applied to (transform="scale(sx sy)") if the scale values (sx, sy) are different. Stroke width is not scaled if the scale values are the same. Ideally stroke should not be scaled.
Workaround for the browser is to use vector-effect='non-scaling-stroke' attr, but it is still not being supported by AI.1 voteThis need some clarification.
I don’t think I can understand the problem.
Illustrator is capable of scaling strokes with object, it the corresponding option is checked. When it’s enabled, it does not differ between uniform and non-uniform transformations. So, is it a feature request and not a bug report, or am I missing the point of it?

When I import a Color Library it changes to a swatch spot color and is a magenta spot color while folder is empty
When I add a color library, downloaded from Adobe to my library and I tried to import into swatches it changes to a magenta color. The folder also comes up, but has no colors added to it. It's been doing this for multiple versions for a while now.
I am using a PC and these are the specs:

Persistent Save to cloud dialogue
I don't want to save to Cloud, but with the 27.2 update I get this dialogue every time I create a new file and then hit 'save' or 'save as'. I clicked 'don't show again' but this option appears in the second dialogue box, not the first, so now I get the 'save to creative cloud' dialogue every time and have to click on 'on your computer' and then wait a few seconds for the 'save as' dialogue.

When trying to crop an embedded image, Illustrator instantly crashes. It is very annoying, fix that please.

Bug: duplicate color names

The issue: one can create multiple swatches with the same name.
Create a few non-global swatches or use existing ones. Go inside the swatches and edit the names to the same value for all swatches — no error is triggered.1 vote -

Keyboard shortcuts not working with KLIM keyboard on ASUS laptop
I have just installed a new (external) on my ASUS laptop and now all of the keyboard shortcuts that require three keys to be held, such as send to back, are not working. They work on the laptop keyboard.
Shortcuts work in all other programs (such as word and online)
I have updated all drivers, updated CC and also reinstalled the program. I have checked sticky keys are on and filter keys off. I don't know what else to do - it is severely impacting workflow.

Drop shadows rendering differently after updating from 25.0 to 25.4.4
This is causing a lot of headaches in our department. The drop shadow appears to have gotten smaller after updating to 25.4.4, even though the values are the same. This edit is destructive and cannot be resolved by reverting to 25.0 and resaving. Attached is screenshot showing drop shadow changes. (AI file is larger than 50 MB.)

Arrow keys cancel file saving
Illustrator v. 26.3.1 on 16 inch, 2021 M1 MBP running MacOS Ventura(13.0.1).
When I save a file, I typically arrow over to the end of the autofilled filename to remove the end of it and add what I want to add per my file naming system. However, when I press any arrow key on my keyboard, the "save file" dialogue box closes, and I have to initiate the process over again. No other keys cause this issue to occur, only the arrow keys. I do use an external keyboard, but in testing, the arrow keys on the built-in keyboard produce…1 vote -

Shape expanded automatically bug
This is a bug I am experiencing. As soon as make a change on a shape it gets expanded automatically and this is not reversible if a pathfinder mode has been used (minus front for example). I am getting a small grey notification saying "shape expanded". I have not found a way to turn this off but it makes Illustrator un-usable for my purposes. I am attaching a screenshot of the notification that appeared as soon as moved one of the rectangle anchor points. Please help me as this is a business show-stopper for me. :(
