Printed image dimensions .5" larger than dimensions in Illustrator
Mac Sonoma
Illustrator 29.1I am printing a mechanical drawing. I have added multiple dimensions. My image is 20/25" x 45 " so I am tiling my printout. No matter which printer I use and which print settings, my printouts are always .5" larger than the dimensions in illustrator. I have tried adding overlaps, printing on borderless paper, removing overlaps, etc. Nothing fixes this problem

Add an option to constrain Illustrator to only move the selected object
In Adobe Illustrator, it's frustrating that when I select an object and attempt to move it, the software sometimes selects and moves a different nearby object instead—even though I clicked precisely on the one I had already selected.
I would like an option to constrain Illustrator to always operate on the currently selected object, ignoring nearby objects unless I explicitly reselect something else.
This behavior would be similar to Photoshop's "Auto-Select Layer" toggle, where users can choose whether to transform the currently selected layer or automatically switch to a different one based on the click location.

[Illustrator 2025, 29.1][Win11 23H2] Installed ICC Color Profiles Become Unavailable After System Shutdown
My Win11 has fast boot disabled, so it gets completely shut down rather than just hibernated.
Once I shut down the computer and start it again, all installed ICC profiles disappear from View > Proof Setup > Custom... > Device to Simulate
They reappear after deleting the following files:
1) C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Color\ACECache11.lst
2) C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Color\ACEConfigCache2.lst

Move Tool Malfunction
I can't select the move tool properly-- or any other tool in this case. The main selected tool is stuck in the hand tool. After a while, it switches to the move tool and it gets crazier!!
Whenever I select a layer or an object, there's a 1-3 second delay. Can this be fixed? My projects are affected. I tried resetting the app already.

Latest version of illustrator (v29.1) does not export pngs with the same pixel placements as the one before.
Export from the new version of illustrator places artwork off center: Up and to the left slightly. This causes SO much work in our pipeline, please fix this urgently.

Ghosting and image retention in UI panels of Illustrator & Photoshop with 5k Monitor
Since Illustrator 29 and new Photoshop I suffer an annoying ghosting bug on my LG Ultra Fine Monitor with 5k (at an iMac Pro from 2017). It is only related to Adobe products related and does not appear in any other app!
Even if the panels or windows are not in the foreground, while using e.g. a browser window for some time in front, there appears a ghosting in the tool panels from the window which is in the background of the UI panels, at the moment when switching back to Illustrator.
This is really annoying.

Sequoia 15.1 (24B83) 29.1 doesn’t export type with stroke applied
Illustrator doesn't export stroke applied to a text element, it shows without the stroke. It only worked when stroke is outlined. Does anyone knows a way to fix it?

Contextual Task Bar Preventing Artboard Creation
Normally when you click on an object you can create an artboard to fit to that graphic. However, when the Contextual Task Bar is open it bugs out and doesn't allow this.

Significant Performace Issues after Updating to V29.1
I'm having significant issues using Illustrator 25 v29.1 and it's very frustrating as I'm using the program for work related activities. Any time I try to alt+drag and artboard to copy it, I get the spinning wheel of death on my Macbook Pro. Even if I try to Command+C and Command+V paste the artboard, I have the same issue. And when I look at how much memory is being used, it's not alot so I don't undertand what is happening. 'Save as' isn't working. Files can only be saved by using the 'Save a Copy' command or 'Save'.

Star shape expand not working in 2025 update
Illustrator 29 (2025 update) on Mac - The live shapes are great, and I was able to create a cog, but I can't expand the shape like in the previous versions, and the corners stay "live." In properties panel, I click on "Expand Shape" but the shape stays editable as if it's still "live" - see screenshots attached.

使用環境
ソフトウェア: Adobe Illustrator 2025
バージョン: 29.0.1特定のファイルを使用している際に、選択ツールを使ったバウンディングボックスでの拡大縮小操作が正しく動作しない現象が発生しています。他のファイルでは正常に操作ができるものの、特定のファイルにおいてのみ、斜めの拡大縮小と縦横の拡大縮小が逆になってしまい、期待通りの変形ができません。
バグが起こった手順:
1. 特定のファイルを開く。
2. 選択ツールを使用してオブジェクトを選択し、バウンディングボックスの角または辺にカーソルを合わせて拡大縮小操作を行う。
3. 通常であれば、斜めの拡大縮小（角をドラッグ）と縦横の拡大縮小（辺をドラッグ）が正しく行われるはずですが、問題のファイルでは、角をドラッグしても縦横の拡大縮小に、辺をドラッグしても斜めの拡大縮小に変わってしまいます。
ソフトを終了して、環境設定を初期化して再起動することで、一時的に問題が解消されることがありました。
しかし、一定期間使用していると再び同じ現象が発生してしまいます。1 vote -

此次是要更新.ai檔內所有相同圖片的解析度，
因此於「連結」視窗，「多選圖片」並按「重新連結」。然而，先於photoshop調完解析度後，
以下兩種方式都 無法反映 更新後的解析度：1) photoshop內變更完檔案，ai自動跳出「是否更新連結？」視窗，點確認後、跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態
2)「連結」視窗中，選取「多個連結」並按「重新連結」鈕之後，跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態
最後用一個方法可以 正確更新 連結圖檔：
3) 於「連結」視窗點擊「單獨圖片」，重新連結、跑圖後是正確更新的連結檔解析度；但這等於需要一張一張點擊

When I deselect object whilst inputting CMYK colour values colour changes
