  1. Font is bugging when saving as PDF file

    Some elements of font text are saving with an undefined glyph box (Box with an X) however no glyph is present. only letters "fi"

  2. Select same fill color does not take into account tints

    When I select "same fill color" or "same appearance" it selects all items using that particular pantone regardless of whether I am using that pantone at 100% or a tint (ex 40%, 50%, 60%).

  3. Objects deselect on copy or paste (Illustrator 2019)

    This is a bug, not an idea.

    Sometimes when copying an object or pasting, the copied or pasted object does not remain selected.

    This is far less than ideal, especially when using Paste in Front.

    Happens in Illustrator 2019 / OSX Catalina

  4. Scaling freeform gradient objects with real-time drawing/editing on.

    When I have real-time drawing turned on, I can't select multiple objects that contain freeform gradients and scale them without losing the appearance of the objects. A single object works, more than one at a time will not. If I turn off real-time in preferences, this resolves the issue.

    Mac os 10.14, Illustrator c 24.2

  5. why can't highlight multiple layers from different group anymore 24.4 update !?

    I suddenly can't highlight multiple layers from different group, by holding down the (shift) key. And deselecting with (Alt) isn't working either!

  7. Artboard Missing

    When I open the saved file, I find my artboards missing. The weird part is it saves my work. So every time I open the file I have to create new artboards for the layout I had done.
    Attached Adobe Files consists of 2 layouts:
    Page 1: Original Layout
    Page 2: When I re-open the file. I find all the artboards missing except for a default artboard.

    Very frustrating to recreate the artboards every time.

  8. Pasting goes to the back of the layer - and not on top!!!!!

    When copying an object and then pasting the new object goes to the back of the stack of objects and not to the front! Please fix and make it go to the top.

  9. Smart Guides snapping to the cursor is just making me work much slower

    I have been having problems with smart guides after the recent update. It has been snapping my cursor to objects, which I have never wanted and never will want to do that ever. I just want to simply align objects together, and now I have to use the features in the align window to time-consumingly do the jobs. Please remove the snap-to-cursor feature for the sake of my deadlines.

    24.2にバージョンアップしてから、作成したガイドラインを選択ツールで動かす時に、リアルタイムで表示されなくなった。

  11. v24.2 swatches / pattern issues - either one or the other - different from fill drop down

    in the latest version v24.2 (june2020) my swatches dissapeared and if i go to defaults RGB and click on the first (white) and last and then the last pattern in the block then click ADD TO SWATCHES and nothing happens or it only adds the last pattern.

    i added one by one and it worked UNTIL i added a pattern and it erased all colour swatches and only left the patterns. this IS happening with the new update.

    and in the upper left hand (menu bar) if on the fill drop down, it does link to shows the swatches and…

  12. Illustrator 24.2 EPS title information changed to "Adobe Illustrator Artwork"

    Previously when saving eps files, the "Title" information embedded within the file would be the filename. It appears that with version 24.2 the eps title information defaults to "Adobe Illustrator Artwork". Can this be corrected back to the filename? Our RIP uses this title information and now all our files are being processed with the same name.

  13. Linked images don't show when opening a file

    Since the June update, some linked images don't appear when first time opening an existing file. After selecting them with the white arrow and moving them, they suddenly appear.

  14. Selection tool issue

    The selection tool is not showing its feature to select and resize the object or rotate the object. It's just simply moving the selected object and not increasing or decreasing the size.

  15. When Using (File - Place) illustrator applies an unwanted clipping mask which is not present if opened normally.

    I import lots of vectors and other files from various places on my computer and everytime I use the (File - Place) feature the vector I import has this unwanted clipping mask.

    I find myself clicking ungroup - release clipping mask - ungroup - release clipping mask until the image is completely destroyed and I'm left with a bundle of gradient boxes and an outline of the original shape.

  16. Document Setup - Artboard size not showing cursor

    Pre update the artboard size fields (W: and H: fields) after clicking Document Setup button in top toolbar would show cursor position. After updating to 24.2 the cursor is no longer visible. The field will highlight but we are not able to see the cursor position.

    Please allow for cursor to be visible inside these fields.

  17. Links palette reporting PNG links as CMYK

    BUG?! Links palette reporting PNG links as CMYK

    OS 10.14.6 / CC 5.1.0.407

    PNG's are RGB, the format doesn't support CMYK.

  19. Can't Install or Launch ANY version of AI 2020 after the 24.2 update

    On Tuesday (6/16), I updated Illustrator 2020 to version 24.2. I launched it and created a document just fine. Then, Wednesday morning when attempting to launch, I received two different error messages, see below. I have uninstalled and re-installed every version of 2020 now and see the same error messages when I try to open it. I need to have 2020 AND 2019 both on my computer due to a plug-in for a die-cutting plotter (Graphtec plotter; software is Cutting Master 4) that doesn't have an update for AI 2020 available yet.   20. Reveal in Bridge not working

    At first, I was trying to 'Reveal in Bridge'. Bridge would open but wouldn't navigate to my link.

    So I updated to the latest version of Illustrator CC (I was one version behind) and now the 'Reveal in Bridge' option is greyed out.

    How about a nice 'Reveal in Finder/Explorer' option that we'd all prefer?
