Resizing from centre - Pen tablet sticking
Windows 10 64bit,
Just updated to 26.0.1 and when you resize from the centre of an object (holding alt) with a pen tablet, the object sticks to the cursor for a tiny bit. I.e it used to leave the shape resized when you lift the pen off the tablet. Now it attaches and keeps resizing as you move the pen away. It's made resizing things accurately impossible.
It doesn't do it with regular resizing from one corner, so it's something bound to the "alt".
Updated the Wacom drivers and no difference.

Wacom Eraser not working on Illustrator
I'm using MacOS Monterey 12.1, and Illustrator 2022 (26.0.2), both recently updated, and for some reason the eraser tip of my Cintiq 13 HD stopped acting like an eraser and it does the same as the pen tip. I tried resetting the settings for both Illustrator and the tablet, but the problem persists.
For some reason this is not happening on Photoshop, the eraser works as usual.
Does anyone know how to fix this?1 vote -

The Corner Widget doesn't appear in all corners
Where is previous versions Corner Widgets appeared in every corner, the current version doesn't show 'm in a lot of cases.

Lines aren't smooth with Pencil tool
Back in version 25.0 the paths drawn with the second setting were smooth. Since version 25.1 the paths aren't smooth. it creates unnecessary misplaced points.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Modifying stroke width of paths with mixed aspects totally erases their Appearance
Illustrator 25.3.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4
When I try to modify the stroke width of multiple paths that have mixed aspects, it totally erases their Appearance instead.
In the attached video, I have 3 paths that are similar except for their stroke colour. When I try to change their width from 0,5mm to 1mm, their Appearance become "empty. :-(

Single click on a radial gradient with gradient tool does nothing...
When using the gradient tool on a radial gradient, a single-click should move the center of the gradient to the click location. This only works if the gradient annotator is turned on, otherwise nothing happens. See attached video.

筆圧にてブラシの線幅設定をした線をコピペして、コピペ先のブラシを基本に設定すると、コピペ元の線幅設定が消える
[現状]
①ペンタブレット筆圧感知にて、ブラシに線幅設定(線の入り抜き)を持たせながら描きます。
②ライブペイントを使用する為、線をコピー&ペースト。(背面以外の場所でも再現性あり)
③コピー先の線を、ブラシ”基本”にすると、コピー元の線幅情報が消えます。(入り抜き無しの一定の線になります)[想定していた結果]
コピペ先の線の設定を変更しても、コピペ元には影響されない。CS6と同様の動作。[環境]win10、Adobe Illustrator 2021 25.4.1、Wacom One

Tool menu doesn't open correctly.
This is what Illustrator 2020 looks like after I upgraded to Monterey. Everything is super glitchy. Please update Illustrator.

Lasso tool not selecting
Since updating Illustrator a month or so ago, the lasso tool rarely works. No vector points are selected and I'm having to use the direct select tool instead.

Custom Brushes no longer working in newset update 25.3.1
My custom brushes stopped working with the new update. When I switch between custom brushes it either does not change or changes to the incorrect brush.
I have several custom brush files that I use for my job and this is happening with all of them.
I switched Ilustrator back to the previous version, 25.2.3, and the brushes are working fine, however I would prefer to be using the most up to date version of illustrator and to not have to rebuild 5 custom brush files that each contain around 7-20 brush variations.
I am on Windows 10.

Eyedropper tool vanished from tools panel
Whenever I restart my computer and open Illustrator, the eyedropper tool disappears from my tools list. The measure tool is in its place. No option to hold down the measure tool to expand to the eyedropper tool. Also not showing up when you try to add the tool via the Edit Toolbar feature.

Pen Tool in illustrator
In the new version of illustrator 25.4.1, their is a bug in the pen tool. When I click on the pen tools in the toolbar, the software will hang up with the spinning ball for about a minute. This has happened repeatedly

Anchor Points and Handles Missing
When selecting the outline, anchor points (and their handles) seem to disappear, making it near impossible to create the desired curve. It was working fine the other day. I am using version 25.0.1 on a Mac. I have tried this in both OS 10.15.7 and OS 11.2, with the same results. Image below is when outline is selected with Direct Selection Tool (Usually anchor points and handles are visible here)

Direct Select tool selecting unnecessary groups
Steps to repeat making unecessary groups (just one of many ways) in order to test how they break the direct select tool, and cause unpredictable appearances:
1) make a rectangle.
2) apply a "3D Extrude & Bevel" effect
3) Expand appearanceNow that you've flattened your 3D object, you'll have an extra 4 unnecessary groups come along for the ride. But you won't know this unless you use Vector Firstaid, or use the appearance panel to manually inspect the situation (argh!).

Alt+tap with Rotate or Reflect tool + Wacom tablet makes Illustrator unresponsive
Trying to open the dialog box for precise Rotate or Reflect settings by Alt+tapping with a stylus on a Wacom tablet makes Illustrator unresponsive for an undetermined period of time.
The dialog box may eventually open (after 30-90 seconds), but in the meantime, Illustrator cannot be closed, and none of the menus, tools and commands work. The bug only occurs with a stylus, Alt+clicking with a mouse never produces this issue.
The bug was reported on Adobe Support Community already in 2019 but has not been fixed even in the most recent Illustrator release. It seems to be a problem…

Eyedropper won't pick up arrowheads in 25.3.1
Using Illustrator 25.3.1 with Mac OS 11.4, the eyedropper won't pick up the arrowhead style from a stroke to replicate onto a new stroke. This has always worked before.

Paintbrush tool stops working while drawing - 100% GPU usage
Using the paintbrush tool, when drawing a continous shape/line, it stops drawing after a little while, even if I keep the pen pressed, or mouse button (same result).
If I use the GPU rendering/viewing mode, the GPU usage keep climbing if I keep drawing, until it reaches 100% GPU usage and stops working. And that is on a RTX 3090. On CPU view mode, it stops way sooner/faster, after 3 seconds almost. As soon as I let go and stop drawing, it completes the shape, but only up until the point that it stopped drawing.

Text gets pasted when objects get copied or selected
I have iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019), the latest OS BigSur 11.2, memory 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, video card Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB. The latest regularly updated version of Illustrator (25.1) and since last year or some I noticed that once in a while there were problems with clipboard memory.
Whenever you copy or just select some object on artboard, immediately you get a garbled text box pasted. Very nasty, and after the latest update it has gotten considerably worse. Now I literally cannot simultaneously select several objects without having this garbled block pasted. So I cannot align…
