Type Object Selection by Path Only not working correctly
When a Type Object is rotated, Ai selects it when the pointer is clicked in side the bounding box of the rotated object, even when Selection by Path Only is active.

Selection tool Lagging and moving objects on click- High Sierra (macOS 10.13)
I have been an illustrator user since 2000.
After this most recent update I noticed that when I use the Selection Tool (V) . The item, image, line, vector group, no matter what I click, begins to lag and then automatically jumps to the location of my mouse, Thought I simply clicked the item to select it and then moved my mouse, not clicked and dragged. The object reacts as though I clicked and dragged, so I am forced to select an object, let the bug run it's course, and then hit cmd +Z to undo the unintentional move.

Eyedropper tool doing whatever it wants
For example. when using alt click (as for copying the style of what I have selected to another thing. It DELETES ALL STYLE from the thing I'm clicking on. When I click normally it just copies color (sometimes) and even though I have everything checked in the eyedropper tool setting. It just copies just color.
This is making me wast a lot of time
I already updated the software AND also did a fresh reinstall, even deleting settings. Didn't work.2 votes -

When using pathfinder crop my system locks up and has to be closed down.
I am using pathfinder to crop and it has only worked a handful of times. The other times it locks up and program has to be restarted and it is VERY time consuming. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Intuos Pen & Touch - Pinch zoom doesnt work anymore
Everything was working just fine for me, but since the new update i can't finger pinch zoom anymore. On all the other Adobe products everything's working just fine. It's just Illustrator that's having this Problem.

Crashing immediately when opened
I have not been able to use Illustrator 2018 for over a week now. I am using High Sierra and I have checked all the updates. I can't open from a file or directly from the toolbar. I have sent a few crash reports but to no avail.

Scale box not appearing
every time I try to scale an object/shape/path, all I am shown are the anchor points for every object. Even in selection mode, it just shows the anchor points.

Problem syncing with CC Files on startup (sometimes!!)
Well the title says it all, really!
It looks like I have NO files in the cloud. But not all the time. Restarting Illustrator sometimes solves the problem.
I reïnstalled the program, have the latest updates, etc...
Maybe I overlook something?

Align to artboard not working for svgs added through File/Place
I added an svg to use (with File/Place) and wanted it to be centered. After clicking to align to artboard and clicking the Horizintal Align Center button it never actually centers. It moves a bit each click until it stops working all together (almost parabolic as seen in the attached gif).
Everything worked fine on objects created from within that file

illustrator 2018 crashes when I try to make a pattern. I'm using a 2017 macbook pro.

Illustrator 22.1 crashes on quit. (Mac OS X 10.11.6 on MacBook Pro i7 Late 2011)
The latest Update to Version 22.1 won't work properly on my computer. Everytime I finish work and quit Illustrator, the programm crashes and freezes on exit screen, endlessly showing the rotating, colored ball (mouse pointer).
I have to force quit, no other way to get around.

White spot and white line always appear up when I working and when I do an other things it will move into other position
At the beginning it is work normal as usually then when I add something or move something there will happen a white line and white spot or missing part of my work and I try to ignored them but it will change position

Edit Artboards/Convert a box to artboards Illustrator 18
Why cant Illustrator 18 snap to a box when converting to artboards? Also if you create a box copy it into your library.... then bring it back into illustrator and try to create artboards from it, you get a weird error stating its got a clipping mask or a rotation?

Illustrator crashing after latest update
After updating Ai in the desktop app the program crashed on me several times during an afternoon. I worked with the pattern maker tool in one file and manualy in another file. After restarting both Ai and my iMac there is no way to open the files. I get a sign that says "Unable to open drawing". That happens only to the files created after updating. I tried saving as pdf and open the pdf, not working. I tried to open the files on another computer, the same happens. I then placed the pdf in Indesign, saved as a new…

Unselctable and undo glitch
When I go to select a shape or text item sometimes the bounding box disappears. Even when I go to show bounding box (command + Shift + B) the issue isn't resolved. I don't do anything different and it seems to happen randomly. I have to restart illustrator to fix it but sometimes that doesn't.
Once the bounding box disappears I cannot track the type and if I move an item it goes back to its org place.
Additionally, when I hit undo rather than going back one action it will go back 4 or 5 actions. This only happens…

Opening Files Problem
Not sure what this message means. It started last week.
I would try to open a file, this warning box would pop up, I would press ok and half of my job is missing. Then i would restart illustrator and try it again. Sometimes it takes me 5 times restarting illustrator to get the files to open correctly.1 vote -
Snap to Grid functionality reversed
Running AI 22.1 on OSX 10.12.6
When drawing or moving objects, they behave as if 'Snap to Grid' is checked. It isn't. If I check 'Snap to Grid', the snapping behaviour stops.

Illustrator documents open up as skewed black and gray triangles
When I open a file in illustrator, all that shows up are black and gray skewed lines and triangles. I have uninstalled and re-installed illustrator but has not fixed the problem. The image cannot be seen whatsoever. Attached file shows what SHOULD be the silhouette of the state of Illinois. This is what I get instead:

Illustrator CC 22.1 destroyed my file
22.1 (released today March 15, 2018) destroyed a complex drawing, exhibiting very odd drawing mistakes leading me to quit. Upon reopening the file was corrupted and a single object remained. I suggest NOT updating until this is solved.
