Stroke Scaling moves visible stroke away from actual path When I try to scale up the stroke weight on a path, the visual of the stroke moves away from the actual path proportionate to the amount scaled up. I have no idea what is going on. This happens mainly with custom brushes but I have not been able to predict when or how severely this is going to happen. Yes I'm using the latest illustrator update.

Secondary Jagged Stroke Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1
Illustrator 26.0.1I have been drawing lines with the line tool and expanding and bending them using the Anchor Point Tool. Sometimes Illustrator creates a secondary line alongside my smooth one that is jagged. It is still visible if I zoom in or out but I don't think it's really there (as a vector path). It is visible in the middle of my screenshot.

Text updates only appear after moving the text box Editing text in a text box still shows the old text/does not show the update. Only after moving the text object does it update. New text shows on hover/while editing, but it is overlaid onto the old text. Seems like the graphics aren't refreshing as they should.

Some strange pixels in vector objects and text Win10
AI 26.1I have no idea how to fix it
1 voteThis is clearly a GPU rendering bug.
A workaround for this is to disable GPU rendering at all. To investigate this further, the team would need full details on the OS and GPU used, along with a test file.
Please provide these in the comments in the original bug report or send them over to sharewithai@adobe.com

Glitchy M1 Version. Moving Object Distorts Object Beyond Recognition The simple act of moving a group object is not working in the Apple Silicon version. Just clicking on it distorts it beyond usuable recognition. Video if action attached.

Visual breakdown bug when zoomed in < 30000% In keyline and normal view, when zooming in very close, the image breaks down. This didn't happen in previous versions. The first attached image shows the image correctly, with zoom at 12750%. The second attachment shows the image 'broken down' when zoomed in further. The multitude of diagonal lines shouldn't be there (these increase when panning) and the selected line (that I'm trying to work on) should be a complete line, not an endpoint. This bug makes detailed work very difficult.

Magnifying screen redrawing flaws In Illustrator 2022, when I zoom in, the screen turns black and my artwork only redraws the portions where I hover the mouse, as if the display was defective.

Illustrator 2021 and 2022 Zoom not working correctly after OS update to Monterey Like the title says, after update to Monterey.... when using Illustrator 21 or 22 when zooming into an object, either vector, tiff, eps on the document the screen goes gray about 150% to 300%. I have reset many things, GPU.... reset preferences, colors, overprint off and on.... nothing seems to correct it. This happened Only after going from Big Sur to Monterey. Attached is a screen shot at 100% zoom, then the same art at 300%. The art is all vector, that really doesn't matter, vector and images act the same when zooming. Another screen shots on another job at…

Artwork disappears when zoomed in Whenever I am zooming in (2400% +), my artwork disappears and the who canvas turns gray. If I mouse over my artwork, i'll see a very pixelated outline of my artwork. I've attached a screenshot of my issue. I've tried restarting my MBP, uninstalling and reinstalling AI. I've tried closing out AI and reopening– but nothing I am doing is fixing this issue. Please help, I need to continue working on client projects.

flickering guide lines In Illustrator 25.4.1 one cannot use the guides while Astute Plugins active! What did you do Adobe? While selecting objects the guide lines will appear blink think suddenly while someone click drags the mouse as long as one releases the mouse button again. While dragging objects, the guide lines will be fine, but with nothing selected, click drag will cause flickering guide lines.

GPU performance causes screen artefacts In AI 25.4, when GPU Performance is enabled, at some point when working on a file, or switching between screens, thin vertical and horizontal black lines will appear. They seem to flash on and off for a second or more as though Illustrator is switching between tabs or other open applications.
I've tried to take a screenshot/video when this happens but it doesn't show up, if you look at the screenshot/video, it's as though those lines were never there.
When GPU Performance is disabled, the issue goes away.
