  2. When exporting as PDF with password (to edit/copy), insertion point doesn't move to password entry field

    When saving as a protected PDF (require a password to edit/copy), as soon as you click the checkbox to enable that, the text insertion point always used to jump immediately to the field to enter the password. Now, nothing happens. You have to click the box. There are no other options in that area of the Save as window; you click the box to enable a password, and the only other option is to then enter that password.   3. Illustrator Save as dialog box forgets custom size and position, other things

    [macOS Big Sur 11.1, Illustrator 25.1]

    In all previous versions of Illustrator, once you manually re-size and re-position the Save as dialog box, it stays that way -- at least until Illustrator quits. Its default size now it is tiny and unmanageable, and I have to re-size it every single time I save a file. Furthermore, it always defaults to the local user Documents folder, instead of the document's original folder. Finally, the entire file name AND EXTENSION are highlighted, when it always used to be just the file name. Change that all back, please.

  4. Random Freezing

    I just bought a 16" Macbook Pro (2019) and twice now while using Illustrator, the artboard freezes and I cannot save. All of the menus and tool bars and whatnot highlight like they are responding, but I cannot get anything on the artboard to respond and cannot save anything. Everything else on the mac seems to be working so it is not freezing the whole system. Please help! Do I need to return and get a new mac, or is this a software problem?

    Swatches turn to spot colours when you add them to CC Libraries. It would be preferred to change that to process colours as default. Please!

  7. Can not update Illustrator or InDesign in Creative Cloud

    I need confirmation if the reason I cannot update is due to the Windows 10 version 20H2 by my company OR an issue on the Adobe side. I would like to escalate this matter internally if it is on our company's side. PLEASE ADVISE.

    At current I think we will not be beginning with the testing of the next version
    until at least February. The next version will be Windows 10 version 20H2.

  8. Can't copy and paste from Graphpad prism 9.0 to AI 25.1

    I can paste smaller images but not larger ones. My colleagues who use the same programs on a mac have no issues. Keep in mind that I am pasting multiple independent images at the same time. For example, a transfer of a square will be 4 lines transferred.

  9. Improper transperancy handling

    when creating an object with a simple transparency, it renders different siting above a white background vs a white object. I've had someone else recreate to verify it's not just my install. See attached screen shot.

  10. Paintbrush properties - fill option not working

    Can select fill colour however when draw using the paintbrush the fill colour doesn't work - automatically goes back to red stripe option but the line colour is there.

  11. Font activation via FontxplorerX not working after update to 25.1

    After upgrading to 25.1 font activation via FontexplorerX plugin doesn't work anymore. I have to activate them manually.

  14. Live Paint Dead

    Wow, I haven't seen AI get this slow and bad at basic vector work in years! (Just might be way too bloated.) Had to delete latest version 25.1 and go backwards just to get my day job done on time.

    Im on the last version of illustrator (on the date of 2021-01-20 at 9:47 am EST) and when i launch illustrator and create a project, there is no tools at all, when i change a settings in the window tab, nothing change

    I am here to report that the right menu bar is not appearing. I don't know what the bar is actually called so please excuse any misnaming.
