  1. Creative Cloud library assets make Illustrator Crash

    Illlustrator CC 2019 and Illustrator CC2020

    I'm using a lot the creative cloud Libraries in Illustrator.
    Many times, when I create an asset in the library by dragging and dropping it into a group, the asset crashes Illustrator when I try to open it to modify it.

  2. Place - wedge in image appears and moving images is clunky

    When I place an image, a wedge appears, and it only goes away when I lock, and then unlock the layer. If I start moving the image around again, the wedge appears again.

  3. Rotate lagging/hangs, whenever I'm in rotate tool and rotating lines or objects, sometimes I experience lagging about 1 - 2 minutes

    it stucks on this cursor here(image attached), it will last 30 seconds - 1-2 minutes, been dealing with this for a long time.

    Looking forward for the fix.

  4. Opening issues

    Since last week I'm facing this situation (attach): when I open illustrator, Home shows fine, but when I open a file, it doesn't open at all, and part of home screen still appears in background. Tools painel is there, but Layers and other stuff (like the art as well) don't. When open two files, it all appears, but eventually layers painel and others won't work (it's like the buttons of painels are pressed (darker), but their option won't show up.

    i have been unable to save my files properly since yesterday when i worked on a project thats has images, first i got a messages on illustrator that auto save wont work because the file im working on is large then when i tried to export my project for screen, instead of saving just as png, it saved as png.tmp$$ and just add to rename before i can get my file and also when i saved my files it keep saving as a temp file since then, have to rename the files saved and include .ai to get the file,…

  6. Illustratr crashes when opening an existing file, on the latest version (24)

    As soon as i open the latest version of illustrator (24) a window pops up saying Illustrator has crashed and that autosave has been turned off. Then when i go to click ok the screen freezes and I can't even shut Illustrator off.

    In large curved text the anchors shrink after use.
    In large curved text, every time you move any anchor they become very small. If you move the text everything goes back to normal until you touch the anchors again.

  8. Illustrator 125% Scaling is missing... (UI is too big, or too small)

    i have a 16.5 inches laptop with latest version of windows 10, and 1920*1080 full HD display.
    the normal, and default UI scale of Windows 10 is 125% on my screen, that looks very great and standard.
    in illustrator 2020, i have a big problem in UI scaling. there is just two options:
    scale to lower supported scale factor, and scale to higher supported scale factor.... that first one makes UI scale to 100% and i can't read anything, and second one makes it on 150% scale that is very very big.

    there is not same problem in photoshop…

  9. Links panel shows wrong colour space

    In a CMYK document the Links panel shows RGB images as CMYK. In the example image a PNG, which can never be CMYK, is incorrectly reported as being CMYK.

    This is in a CMYK Illustrator file. In an RGB file the image is correctly reported as being RGB. Placed CMYK images are correctly reported as CMYK.

  10. Selecting two objects adds millions of points to second path...

    Adobe Illustrator 24.2.1 (and its predecessor) have a horrible feature which I assume is a bug. When selecting two separate paths (or even two separate text objects) using the Selection Tool or Direct Selection Tool, it seemingly adds millions of points to the second path. The points are not really added and don't actually exist, but they LOOK like they do, meaning it adds a thick blue line along it that looks ghastly and is completely off-putting. I can't use those versions at all and have had to stick to 24.1.3 which is the latest version to not do it.…

  12. Shape builder not working consistently for the same shape after being moved

    I have a perfect tangent (generated by code) that will work in the top part of the attached file. The bottom part will not work for the shape builder tool.

    Reflecting the shape or moving it might fix one or both of the bits, and allow them to be "shape built". It might also break the possibility of "shape building".

  13. Bug avec Catalina + cintiq 27HD + illustrator

    I've been working for 3 years with Illustrator on a Cintiq 27HD and so far it worked perfectly.
    I changed my old Imac (high Sierra) for a Macbook Pro on Catalina in june, and i work with the last version of Illustrator. I specify that my new Mac is clean and was installed by a professional, and that the MacbookPro is new. So there are no old files that could disturb the system.

  15. Objects don’t align properly to artboards with guides placed on canvas

    While guides have been placed in artboard objects will no longer align to artboard rather they extend far beyond the current artboard.

    At the moment the only solution I've found to work is clearing the guides.

  17. Exported AI file showing Improper File Format.

    File with Path Names not importing in any other software and gives error Improper File Format Line Excees 255 Characters.
    I tried this in 2 softwares WASP3D and 3DS Max. in both softwares the file is not importing. I want the file with Path Names.
    It is a world map also attached with this bug.

  19. SVGz No longer displaying on live web pages

    Hi, I have been using Svgz files for a while now but the last couple of updates for illustrator the svgz files do not work. I have never been able to view these files till they were on the server So I would make both SVG and svgz files use the SVG to visually code then add the z to the file name on the server this worked well.

    The Files always generate this Error in a browser window but not once served via a correctly configured webserver

  20. Gradient tool Illustrator 24 high sierra

    The Gradient tool does not work well in Illustrator 24.0.3 using high sierra 10.13.3.
    When changing anything with the annotator (color stops, angle, etc) illustartor will hang for several seconds, and nothing can be selected, so I have to wait for it to resume. Often times the gradient panel will blink continuously during this time, it's weird. It's like it's having a spasm. Everything with the gradient works fine in 22.1, so I've been using the older program when i have to use a lot of gradients. This is annoying though, to constantly switch between programs.
