Couldn't create a new document
Couldn't create a new document, it's doesn't work anymore and showing so laggy. Please fix these bugs.

Artboard copying with hotkey [ bug ]
macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Illustrator 25.0.1- Select current artboard, option drag to copy
- Artboard moves instead of creating a copy
- When trying to undo, artboard returns to previous location while artwork remains in new location
- Required to press undo 5-10 times as artwork slowly inches its way back to the original artboard

Page size error and wrong PPI
I have a big problem.
I want to the print an A4 template (pixel size must be 2480 pixels x 3508 pixels print resolution), but if I open the template I see always this size 595 pixels x 842 pixels (screen resolution).
I chance the PPI to 300 in Rasterize menu, but the page size remains the same.

Art board non stop sliding to the right
I use the latest version of the Illustrator on Windows and this bug appeared recently. (After I started to use Illustrator on my iPad and sync my documents with the cloud )
When I open a new or existing document, the art board starts moving to the right and I’m unable to stop it. I reinstalled the app and restarted my laptop and still the same happening. Please help!2 votes -
Import Multi Page PDF Font Outlined
Single page import retain font formatting but automatically outlined when multi page PDF imported. Can this be fix? thanks.

Graphics do not show when document is opened, only in preview
When I open a document with several artboards that was created in the 2019 edition of Illustrator I can see all images in the preview - but when I open the document there are only empty artboards. How can I avoid recreating all my artwork?
My Illustrator is updated to the latest edition and the technicians have deleted all previous versions. My computer has 16 GB RAM, x-64 and runs the Windows 10 pro.2 votes -
Previews Stop Functioning.
After Illustrator has been open and multiple files are open on tabs the previews on the artboards stop functioning. Opening new files don't function correctly either.

Permanent side scroll
When I start a new file or open an existing file, the artboard side scrolls automatically to it's outermost edge. I cannot work on any file.

Select > All menu command also selects all artwork instead of all artboards only
With the Artboard tool selected, choosing Select > All selects not only the artboards, but all of the artwork—even artwork outside of the artboards.

Guides not scaling correctly on copy/paste into large canvas
If I copy a 5"x5" rectangle from a regular document and paste it to a large canvas document, it remains 5"x5", as expected.
However, if I convert the same shape to a guide and then copy it from a regular document to a large canvas document, the guide becomes 50"x50". This really makes things difficult when copying guides and artwork together into a large canvas.

Stroke weight defaults to 10pts on oversized custom Artboard
If I create a new document one of the standard sizes, say Letter... then draw an object and apply a stroke... the stroke size defaults to 1pt as it should. However, if I define a new custom oversized artboard, say 500 inches square, then draw and object... when I apply the stroke, the size defaults to 10pts.

File gets opened twice
I have to work remotely from a server at my job. For months now, Illustrator will create these strange duplicates of a file I work on, even if I haven't saved the file. There's no pattern to when these files are made, as I sometimes use a variable import script to batch multiple files at once, but not all files are duplicated. Please refer to the screen capture I included.
In that folder, there should only be 2 AI files, man and woman. But without my prompting, it created those duplicates, and they can't be deleted without rebooting your computer…

Cmd+drag does not copy artboard
Cmd+drag only moves selected artboard. No copy possible. No layers or content are protected. Option to copy artwork with dartboard is selected.

cannot duplicate or move artboards
Cannot duplicate or move artboards with artwork in Illustrator 2020. Artboard will merely move with the artwork contained when hitting opt+click. Can only duplicate artboards without artwork.

Rulers disappear at restart.
Even If I have checked "Show/Hide Rulers Across All Documents" every time I restart Illustrator, I have to activate rulers AGAIN. Come on guys, you always need a wheel to drive a car, we always need rulers ON. Help us with this bug.

A new artboard created in a template with two artboards gets 'Artboard 2' name instead of 'Artboard 3'
My default document I use to begin projects has two artboards. If I add a third artboard, it will be named "Artboard 2" and I have to go into the settings and rename it "Artboard 3" in order to print properly.

Duplicating an Artboard with art on it and then Undoing it, causes crash
if you drag and artboard with art on it while holding option to duplicate, it duplicates fine, but if you Undo, the duplicated artboard remains and you can't delete. sometimes if you try and select the artboard illustrator will crash. the only way to update is to reopen the affected file.

Artboard > Fit to Artwork Bounds with clipping mask and raster effects
Resizing an artboard with Artboard Options -> Preset -> Fit to Artwork Bounds doesn't honor clipping masks or raster effects. The new artboard size includes artwork hidden by clipping mask, and excludes raster effects such as drop shadows.
2 votesIllustrator now honors raster effects such as clipped shadows, and fits to clipping masks instead of their clipped content, when using Fit to Artwork Bounds or Fit to Selected Art commands.
However, there is no option to not do that, and to ignore Use Preview Bounds option in general — the fitting always uses strokes. Rearrange All Artboards ignores locked layers
When I use the command Rearrange All Artboards from the Artboards panel object on locked layers are not moved with the artboard.
To test make a document with two artboards and two layers. Draw anything on Layer 1 for each artboard them copy it exactly to Layer 2, or just duplicate Layer 1. Hide or lock a layer then use Rearrange All Artboards to rearrange the dartboards. The objects on the locked or hidden layers do not move with the artboard.
