CC Library Legacy Warning
Operating System: Windows 10
Illustrator Version: 24.1.1I am trying to add a CMYK graphic to CC Library. When I do, I receive the warning:
"Saving to a legacy format may cause some changes to your text layout and disable some editing features when the document is read back in."
Resetting my preferences did not help. I checked for Adobe updates, but Creative Cloud doesn't indicate there are any available. If I add it as an RGB graphic, I do not get the error. But I need the CMYK version.

Window not showing
From the Finder (MacOS X 10.15.4), I open a n illustrator Document. The app comes forward and I see a black screen. The "Window" menu tells me that the document is open BUT where? I don't see it (nope, I don't have a second monitor). Clowe the invisible window and the Window menu shows nothing open. Try again, from the finder and again, no windows look opened. Try from Illustrator, File/Open: same thing, another fail. Quit app, relaunch app by launching doc from the Finder. now the file opens as it should. Close file, try again. Back to the black…

Brush not working with dual monitor setup
- Illustrator v 24.1.1
- My brush pen doesn't line up to where my pen touches on the screen. I am using a touchscreen monitor on a desktop computer. The brush works in photoshop and every other program but illustrator.
- I would like to use the brush in illustrator for drawing
- The brush is about 2-3 inches away from where I touch the screen almost like it's treating my two monitors as one, always pulling toward the center of the two screens.

Dashes not reproduced properly on paste from Excel
Copying any chart from Excel to Illustrator, where the chart contains a dashed line does not respect dash spacing set in Excel, and always imports with fixed (and rather nonsensical) 1000px dash spacing (so typically no dashes are seen except the first one in almost any artwork).
This has been happening for a while, 1-2 years for sure, so it's not a new bug. It persists across Illustrator and Excel versions.
1) make a chart in excel

Guides are barely visible bug
After the latest Illustrator 24.1.2 update, guides, when they are not selected are barely visible. As seen in the attached file.
Can we fix this bug please? Thank you!

The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete.
"The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete." This pops up when you use save as while there is a save currently going on.
This dialog box was removed when closing the document in 24.1.1. Can we also get it removed when using save as?
Would be nice if the save as started once the current save is done like in previous versions.

Rulers disappear at restart.
Even If I have checked "Show/Hide Rulers Across All Documents" every time I restart Illustrator, I have to activate rulers AGAIN. Come on guys, you always need a wheel to drive a car, we always need rulers ON. Help us with this bug.

dimensions change when changing rgb to cmyk
When I set a new artboard with specific pixel dimensions and ppi, I go to save the artwork as a JPEG and it completely changes my dimensions. I've played around with this for hours with no success. I've noticed that if I change the format from rgb to cmyk, this affects the size. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Thanks

Split into Grid bug
I've stumbled across a glitch in the Split into Grid code which prevents rectangles with dimensions smaller than 5mm from being split. See the video for a demonstration.

Transform effect vanished from Appearance Panel. Multiple times
After using Distort & Transform/Transform from the Appearance Panel, I noticed that this effect was missing from the list of effects that I'd used. As you can see in the attached image, Transform is not in the list. The long shadow on this text is created using that effect and it is still live, but there's no way to edit it since it is not showing up in the Appearance Panel. I started over and created it once more and once again, it wasn't in the panel. I tried a 3rd time and it worked as expected.

Illustrator Freeze & Crashing
After updating my Macbook Air to version Mojave version 10.14.6 and Illustrator to version 24.1 I am unable to work in Illustrator for more than 5 minutes before it freezes and my screen turns black. I can not click on any tool either and dropdown boxes and windows disappear.

Cannot deselect the selected area even when nothing on canvas
Like I said on title. When I use selection tool, it happens occasionally. It can not be deselect even when I lock and turn off visibility all my layers. The only way to solve this problem is turn off the current window, and reopen the file. It is really annoying. Please fix it. Thank you.

Layer
I think the layer colors are wrong. In the following snipped, the purple ellipse and blue rectangle are assigned the color green in the UI but they really belong to the red layer.

bug: Artboard name doesn't stick when pasted in directly in the artboard list
The artboard name does not always stick when entering it in the following manner:
- in the artboards panel create a new artboard via the [+] icon
- double-click the title to be able to edit the name
- paste in the name
- hit enterThe name shows in the panel, but when clicking the artboard icon at the right of the name the artboard settings panel opens with the old name still showing. If not editing the name here also the name will revert back to the old name after opening and closing another file.

Shape Builder deletes line sections that should stay.
I have a complex design with a bunch of overlapping parts and I'm trying to use shape builder to connect sections together. when I select all my lines, then start to build my shapes, it will start deleting lines that are not part of the shape I'm working on. Usually these lines are part of the line I'm working on, but outside of the shape I'm trying to build. The lines aren't highlighted while I'm selecting the pieces of the shape, but disappear anyway. The input fields and dropdowns get visual artifacts and then illustrator crashes sometimes after that.
The text boxes and dropdowns get visual artifacts - resizing illustrator causes ui to disappear until you hover over it, and then illustrator becomes unresponsive or crashes after that.

CMYK Hex Code Color Change
Windows 10 Pro 18362.719 / Adobe Illustrator 24.0.1. (64bit)
I downloaded and opened a CMYK/Vector file I received through Google Drive, and a specific color on the file was slightly brighter than the color that is supposed to be.
I tried to replace the specific graphic with the original color by typing the hex code manually, but it also changed to the brighter color.
I heard it has been a common issue that has been around, but is there any way to keep the color?
