  1. Consistent Display Bug

    1. MacBook pro 2021, big sur 11.4
    2. version 25.3.1

    On textured illustrations or illustrations using clipping masks, solid white boxes/sometimes pixel shapes sometimes larger, will appear. Some components I can zoom close enough in that they disappear, but some sketches I would be zooming in so far as to crop the sketch before the white boxes disappear.

    It is not the same as before where clipping masks would look completely unclipped. This is a different glitch in the newest update. It makes it so in order to take a screenshot of a sketch, I need to close and save and open…

  2. Modifying stroke width of paths with mixed aspects totally erases their Appearance

    Illustrator 25.3.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4

    When I try to modify the stroke width of multiple paths that have mixed aspects, it totally erases their Appearance instead.

    In the attached video, I have 3 paths that are similar except for their stroke colour. When I try to change their width from 0,5mm to 1mm, their Appearance become "empty. :-(

  3. Help Cannot open Illustrator 2021 on MAC w/Catalina OS.

    Help...is anyone else having the issue of Illustrator on a Mac with Catalina OS, getting an error msg. saying I have read-only and need to change preferences to read-write??? I already saw and read thru the fix. I made sure my settings where set to that, they already were and am still gettng this error msg. What is happening?

  4. レイヤー名が入力しづらい

    Mac mini (M1, 2020)
    Bigsur11.4
    Illustrator25.3.1

    日本語の変換周りの問題かと思うのですが、レイヤー名が入力しづらいです。Photoshopでは問題がないので、Illustrator固有の問題か、私の環境がIllustrator上でのみおかしいのかと思います。

    レイヤー名を変更しようとする時、
    １・バックスペースで消去しようとすると文字が確定してしまう
    ２・Tagキーで変換候補を選択しようとすると文字が確定してしまう

    伝わるかどうか不安ですが、動画を添付します。
    ずっと困っているので解決したいです。

    日本語の macOS のシステム環境設定＞キーボード＞入力ソースの「推測候補表示」が有効時に表示される変換候補ポップアップリストは、「Tabキーで予測された単語を選択」できる仕様です。

    しかし、Illustrator の場合、 Tabキーでは変換候補リスト項目の移動はされずに、パネルやダイアログ UI 上の次の項目に移動され、変換されていない文字が確定入力されしまうことを確認いたしました。

    追跡調査を行っております。
    開発の進展などがありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。

  5. Non-proper alignments

    This has been an ongoing issue since CS first began. Never had a problem with the old 10 or lower. If you grab a node from an object and move it say, to latch on to nearest node or object, it almost always picks some random and sometimes distant node or object, including itself (shown here). Should it not latch to nearest node? In order to properly latch, you have to pull out a guideline and place it where you want it to go, in order for it to recognize where to latch.

  6. Capture not updating

    It seems my Adobe Capture library is not updated in Illustrator (in order to access new Colors or gradient I recently captured (works fine in Fresco)…)

  8. Black Showing Up in AI Preview

    I'm working on macOS Big Sur 11.4
    3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5
    32 GB 1866 MHz DDR3
    AMD FirePro D500 3 GB

    I'm creating packaging dielines, and the white areas on my dielines show up as black in the AI preview and in the Mac preview (the colors appear normal in Adobe Acrobat). The printer is printing the wrong version with the black in place of white, and I don't know how to fix the file for the printer.   9. No tools available

    Mac OSX 11.4 (20F71). Illustrator 25.3.1
    Very often when working in a document (either a new document or an existing document) the tool I am using will change to a crossed-through pencil and beep whenever I attempt to do anything. I have to restart the app, and this often does not restore the tools to a functioning state. This is incredibly annoying and renders Illustrator virtually useless.

  10. Illustrator 25.3.1 Increase Text with Shift Option Broken

    When I hold down shift and option key to expand text it won't enlarge the text.
    Not sure what I am doing wrong or if this is a bug. Would be super helpful if your team were to fix this issue if it were a bug.

    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?

  11. 3d-Kreisel Darstellung und Renderfehler | 3d rotate render error

    3d renderings are perse buggy (see PDF) create invisible geometries (although switched off), render errors on the assembly line.

    The preview is miserable. I can't explain this to any customer, nor can I expect them to! In part, AI files were invited to be transparent in places where they shouldn't be.

    I have been using Illustator since 1990 and there is no other program that is as buggy and impractical as Illustrator. Fast is different.

  12. Bounding Box is invisible on Apple display, but not on MacBook

    I use a MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt Display attached. With recent upgrade, the bounding box becomes invisible when viewed on the display, but is visible when viewed on the MacBook. Artboards are also very pale grey, very hard to see, (when adding new ones)

  16. illustrator crashes 25.3.1 when saving files

    Illustrator crashes when saving to server or trying to open files from server. Iv had more success dragging files directly into illustrator from finder as opposed to using file>open. Also, having issues with illustrator saying that some files are locked when i try to open. using new iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021) version 11.4

  18. Group of strokes disappeared after change stroke thickness!

    We are having an issue with illustrator last version in MOJAVE OS.

    When we change the stroke thickness in a group of objects with different color strokes the same group disappeared. HELP!!!!

  19. Navigator contents not filling up window

    I posted this in the forum too.
    in the latest update, contents of navigator do not fill the window.

    Not only that, they are not even centered.
    Navigator options are set to "view artboard contents only".
    I tried checking/unchecking, but same weird beahviour.
    So here are some screenshots.

    Illustrator window, and then Illustrator Navigator. Not only do the artboards not fit the window, they are cramped on the right side.
    The second pair shows Ps behaving properly. You can notice behind PS Navigator is Ai Navigator and size discrepancy.
    Is this a bug to be fixed?

  20. Communicating with Adobe

    Hi Adobe people,

    I have a question about the communication with users. Under what circumstances does it make sense at all to post a comment/bug/idea/etc. in this place. Do users get heard? Is there a limit of votes above which ideas are actually implemented? How are decisions about what is fixed and what not made?

    I am asking because I have so many points collected over the years that I am planning to post. But this is kind of a lot of work on the side of regular work day that I want to make sure it is worth the…
