Pencil automatically goes to no color
Hi, everytime I draw a line with the pencil tool and have the fill with a color ex: black it automatically goes to no color. This randomly just started happening to me.

everytime I open CC2018 I get a dialog box where I need to disable the "separator preview" plug-in

Expanding strokes lose ability to scale equally
After expanding a stroke, when I shift + transform and scale, it does not scale equally on all sides.

Illustrator 5 crashes everytime i try saving a file
Hi, every time I try to save my file on illustrator it crashes, I'm using OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, any advice?

Realign Canvas function blurs artwork
When using the function to realign/sort canvases — including the embedded artwork — the artwork is placed on subpixels, although it was pixel perfect before. This bug appears in the pixel-preview mode, no matter when on CPU or GPU mode.

Files Breaking on Save after creating Saved Swatch Library
Illustrator v22.0.1: We use art tiles to create repeat prints for textile printing. There is a bug that cause my original .eps files to become garbled after I have used that .eps file to create a saved swatch library. STEP1.png shows the original art file and its save options. STEP2.png shows creating a pattern from the art and its associated settings. STEP3.png shows saving the swatch library (I removed all of the standard Illustrator swatches as they are unnecessary for the custom swatch library). Since the recent update, some fonts randomly deactivate in both Illustrator and Indesign. Also when typing a font name in the search box of
Since the recent update (Dec2017), some fonts randomly deactivate approx every half an hour, in both Illustrator and Indesign. Also when typing a font name in the search area of the type window, the letters jumble around making it impossible to search and jump directly to the font I want - it's incredibly frustrating and time wasting.

Adding a workspace crashes Illustrator
Illlustrator CC 2018 - build 22.01
Document with 5 A4 workspaces side by side, adding a new A4 workspace makes Illustrator crash immediately. No saving, no warning no nothing ...
The only way I can find is making a new dociument with the number of pages you need and copy the artwork. Good luck if you have several layers, and you have to redo everything if you need one more page.1 vote -
PDF file objects and font look different than in the .ai file
Hello!
I am having an issue with Illustrator that no one from Adobe could fix so far after several tries and more than a few weeks. I have recently been working on a batch of packages (both in CC 2017 and CC 2018) and every time I save the .ai to PDF (any of the versions 6,5,4 etc.) some strange things happen (sometimes all of them, sometimes only one):
- the font seems bolder than it actually looks in the .ai file (even if it is converted to outlines or not) - img 11 - 13 (from 2 different files…1 vote -
Can't make a copy of existing line
Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 10
I had a vertical line I wanted to move and copy. I tried dragging it with the Alt key pressed and it only moved without making a copy. I tried the Move dialog and clicked the Copy button and it again only moved without leaving a copy.

Caps Lock
My version of Adobe Illustrator acts like the Caps Lock is on when it is off, and when I press the button again, it returns to the original tools. Help!

Files are plugged and then deleted !!
I made a very big job and then the computer got stuck and the file was deleted until the previous maintenance and destroyed 8 hours of work.

I opened Ai and try to load a new brush that i downloaded, the first time i did it by selecting the Other Library and choose the Brush file was fine but then on it just freeze everytime i do it, be fore i could even select the section that has the file, the application freeze1 vote -
Error message while launching Illustrator CC 2018
This message in German occurs while launching Illustrator 2018. After saying OK, a fragmentary Applikation displays, which is not operational. It is completely buggy and blocks even Finder until it is being quit.
"This process can't be completed, because an unknown message has occurred. [CANT]"

DrawArt Suite issue on OS 10.13 and CC 2018
I'm using the AIDrawArtSuite to render objects in my plug-in.
This function works fine on windows and os x for CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2017 and CC 2018 except for macOS 10.13
On my macbook pro 2014 with a nvidia card and OS 10.13.2, the result is not correct.
If I'm disabling the GPU performance, the result is now correct.1 voteHi,

Font Suggestion and Cursor misbehaving
I'm already feeling a lot of regret for updating to CC 2018!
Now anytime I want to change a font, and I start typing in the name, no suggestions come up. Sometimes, the cursor jumps backwards and start inserting characters midway. I feel frustrated and fed up.1 voteHi Love,
Looks like your setting is set to “Search First work only”. Click on the search icon and from the drop down select “Search Entire Font Name”

Type on path issue
Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit)
When I move the beginning or ending tabs of the path after placing the text such as to center the text on a oval, once I move one or the other of the starting or ending placings, the lines to move them disappear. I am attaching a before and after picture to show you1 vote
