Since upgrade things very slow. Also cannot move objects in small, precise moves.

Your software keeps crashing
With every new release your software becomes more unstable and unusable. There are alternatives out there that are way more inexpensive and soon might be better. And if you don't thinks giants can't fall. look around you.

art brush direction
I created a new art brush. When applied to a stroke it rotates 90 degrees. The same bug was reported by another user in July 2020. How many months will it take to fix this?

Instead of adding features, fix what's already broken and been ignored.
Since the launch of V25 ( 2021 )
-The Surface Dial does not work
-The properties panel is all screwed up when trying to select a number in a field.. you cannot just change one digit
-The shear panel does not remember the angle applied anymore.
-Scaling with multiple monitors is none existent. ( use the resolution from the monitor Ai is open in , NOT from the display set as main.. Apply the smart scaling like you did with Photoshop )1 vote -
Please Select a Key in Current Document
When I attempt to align an object to a key object, I get an error stating Please select a Key in Current Document.
I only have one file open containing one artboard.
I've attempted to move the object I want aligned inside the artboard area as well and still get the same error.
I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Making an Envelope Distort with mesh using an image limits the number of nodes
I have been using the envelope distort feature (make with mesh) for a few years without any issues. It normally works exactly as I need it to. However, there now seems to be a problem...
What I normally do is I embed an image (usually a tiff) into the illustrator file. Then Object > Envelope Distort > Make with mesh. Then I input the number of rows and columns I would like to use and distort as necessary. The number of rows and columns is normally not an issue. But now for some reason I am limited in the number…

Zero-height marquee
Please study the GIF attached.
- I want to select an edge of the yellow-beige path
- I grab Direct selection tool and drag a frame over the edge — OK
- I make it faster — still OK
- I make it with my usual speed and get the marquee that has 0 height. It happens with me all the time! I don't fake it, I just automatically try to drag the less tall frame as possible, because sometimes I need to select quite a tiny segment. And when it happens — Illustrator selects nothing.

Navigator does not change view
In V24.02(win10, 64bit) the Navigator panel does not change the View. Wherever you click in the Navigator, the view is just moving in diagonal direction slowly.

Removed a middle anchor, then an infinite long "handle line" caused the file and the recovery file to crash AI
I placed a line with 3 anchors, removed the middle anchor.
Then AI created automatically an infinite long handle from one of the remaining anchor points.
I coudln´t save the file, it crashed immediately and the recover file got the same bug, so I couldn´t even save the recovery file. the whole infected file is lost completely. (I lost 6 hours of work because of this bug)._

My illustrator updated and i installed a mac cleaning app to help purge some After Effect caches and now illustrator wont open

Grosses lenteurs après la mise à jour Creative Cloud
Bonjour,
Depuis trois jours j'ai de grandes lenteurs d'affichage et d'exécution.
Par exemple lorsque je veux rendre un objet invisible dans ma palette de calques, il ne le fait que lorsque je bouge mon plan de travail.
Idem pour les déplacement d'objets, je ne vois la position finale que lorsque je bouge mon plan de travail.
La mise à jour des images entre Illustrator et Indesign ne se fait pas non plus.
Je dois réinsérer l'image sur Indesign afin de voir la mise à jour de l''image.J'ignore si c'est un problème de mise à jour Creative Cloud ou bien…

Dimensions (globally) do not display accurately after recent update to v25.0.1 - CRITICAL ERROR
I'm experiencing a critical issue that has me halted on a current project. This occurred after recently updating Illustrator to 25.0.1. I've been working on a file with precise dimensions for all shapes and lines, and suddenly dimensions for all shapes and lines are globally incorrect (or are displaying as such). After typing in exact dimensions for creating a rectangle with the rectangle tool, a "10 mm x 10 mm" square becomes "10.1764 mm x 10.1764 mm". This is a critical error, and has halted me from continued work on my current project. Expedited help is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when I'm trying to save my progress on a file, it crashes and doesn't create a recovered file or anything. I've lost a lot of work.

Decimal points added to values - Precision issues
I am operating on Windows 10 and just updated to Ilustrator 24.3.
I am having all kinds of massive issues with precision when working in files created between Illustrator 24.1 and the most recent update at 24.3. When I create text and set the point size, I'll come back later to find that it is "48.002 pts" and that the horizontal scale is at "99.9987%" and it is no longer aligned at x: 1 in., y: 1 in., but has moved to "x: 1.005 in" and "y: .9998 in." Contents of CC Libraries panel shrinks when Cmd +/- used
The panel with all the swatches and assets I have saved will suddenly shrink as if I hit Cmd +/-. This mainly happens in illustrator but has happened in InDesign and Photoshop as well. Then I wont be able to click into or out of the libraries tab or accurately select what I want in the library as well.

My font dropdown is no longer displaying any fonts, I updated to the most recent version. While researching it looked like this was an issue a few years ago...did this issue come back again or is mine broken?

Shortcut keys not shown or working for items in Object menu and in other menus
Many but not all shortcut keys are not shown in the Object menu or operate as in previous version! This is a major setback for my type of work. Can't quickly Group/Ungroup, Zoom, UNDO, Copy, Paste, change stacking order, other functions. Browsing the menus shows only a few shortcut keys. Same in all workspaces. Please put them back as in the previous version!
