  2. Values of artboard differes from the values on control panel in artboard mode

    1. Create big artboard 5 meter in Normal Mode
    2. Activate Increase Cavas Mode
    3. Activate artboard mode
    4. Enlarge artboard up to maximal size 57 meter with dragging handels
    5. The values in control panel are in METERS while in properties panel they are in INCH

    Expected result: The must be in the same measuraments value. In METRS as I have choose METERS

    It happens when I create artbord after first run.

  3. Copy Paste in Place / Front / Back puts the art at a wrong place

    So I'm having problems with the Paste in Place command, sometimes it works great when I Copy or Cut something and paste it on other artboards but most of the times it is not working properly, either what I copied o cut get outside the drawing area or it goes to a random place, and at first I thought I wasn't selecting the artboard but even with the artboard selected it falls anywhere. I'm running Illustrator CC 2019, on windows 10.

  4. Effects menu is smaller/larger than other menus on Windows with larger UI scaling

    When looking at the effects drop down on a high definition laptop, it is smaller then the rest of the dropdowns.

  5. Ai 2020 | Library chaos, lies, and the worst valentines day ever | sign out bug thing |F**K

    i dont know what more i need to say... im so frustrated. literally wasting hours with this happening over and over and yall **** blocked the way cc2020 ai works with the previous versions. basically forcing us to us 2020 then it screws up.... i should of been a stripper.... thanks mom

  6. Very small AI file but super slow - can't even pan.

    I have floor plans that I exported from DWG to 2007 DXF. I then imported to AI to do graphic edits. I'm using AI 2020.

    This was done a long time ago and the AI file has always been extremely slow but I've managed to work with it to the point it is now. But I'm getting super sick of how it can barely handle me panning across the artboards and now dashed lines won't show up as dashed lines either. Help!

  7. Arc Warp Effect with Unexpected Results (Combined with Masks)

    When applying an arc effect shouldn't the mask dictate how the arc effect works and not the larger contents of the mask?

    The results I am getting now appear to be possibly impacted by the larger/complex contents of the mask.

    I have used a larger arc amount of 15% in the images below to exaggerate the difference I am seeing between the simplified design/mask and the second design with a larger pattern inside the mask.

    Is this working as intended or is this an issue?

  8. Illustrator partially freezes after waking Windows 10 up

    When I wake my computer from sleeping mode (Windows 10) and Illustrator was still open, it is frozen in a way. I can click the documents tabs but the view isn't refreshing.. I can select a tool but I can not interact... zoom is not working...

  9. The input fields and dropdowns get visual artifacts and then illustrator crashes sometimes after that.

    The text boxes and dropdowns get visual artifacts - resizing illustrator causes ui to disappear until you hover over it, and then illustrator becomes unresponsive or crashes after that.

  10. Display not being refreshed, scrolling through Artwork while zoomed in and dragging an object

    When I have zoomed into my artwork and drag an object - for example draw a rectangle or line that reaches the end of the window while dragging, the artboard scrolls, but the image is not refreshed. Only the ruler shows me, that I am scrolling... Even when I stop dragging and release the mousebutton, the image is not fully refreshed. Otherwise: when I drag the Marquee-Tool to the end of the window, scrolling starts and the image gets constantly refreshed while dragging.   11. Lock/unlock guides shortcut not working

    The standard Lock/Unlock guides keyboard shortcut doesn't seem to be working on Illustrator CC 2020 on MacOS.

  12. Can't see things I just did.

    When I move an object or make a change to my file it doesn't show up until I click in the document. Then, the object shows up in the new location. I have to restart the program and it works for a few minutes, then happens again. Really frustrating. I am on a new computer with the current version of Illustrator. It happened in older versions on my older computer as well.

  13. Snap to grid doesn't work in new documents

    Snap to grid doesn't work at all in new documents. It works with no issues whatsoever in old files, but whenever I create a new one, nothing snaps to grid. I tried restarting, didn't work, and the software is up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

  14. Variable width profile is off screen

    I don't understand why but this bug is visible not only in illustrator but also in Premier.

    My issue is that many of the scroll, drop down tools or options appear in random areas of my work area. Most specific is my Variable width profile - instead of dropping down, it appears on the lower end of my illustratror window. I have multiple monitors and on one (IMAC 27") the full drop-down appears on the lower end of the work area. On my LG 34" inch, it appears partially off-screen, none the less off my work area.   16. Artwork disappearing / Framework in Outline Mode Glitching

    Illustrator artboard disappearing and turning to outline mode if I zoom in/out OR try and move an object. Everything seems to be repeating itself in these weird wire frames. I have to save, exit out, then reenter that file. This is happening often and multiple times a day.

  19. Artboard > Fit to Artwork Bounds with clipping mask and raster effects

    Resizing an artboard with Artboard Options -> Preset -> Fit to Artwork Bounds doesn't honor clipping masks or raster effects. The new artboard size includes artwork hidden by clipping mask, and excludes raster effects such as drop shadows.

    Illustrator now honors raster effects such as clipped shadows, and fits to clipping masks instead of their clipped content, when using Fit to Artwork Bounds or Fit to Selected Art commands.

    However, there is no option to not do that, and to ignore Use Preview Bounds option in general — the fitting always uses strokes.   20. Illustrator v24.1.2 Crashing all the time - operates slow overall

    Illustrator crashing and working slower on my New 2019 Macbook Pro, than my old mid 2014 Macbook Pro. Basic simple functions and my I get the wheel thinking all the time. Adobe hasn't been able to answer any questions. Ive contacted them and Apple multiple times over the past few days. With the computer I bought, it shouldn't have to think at all.

    Please tell me someone knows a fix.
