1. Not Responding every time PDF saved

   Every time I save my work as a PDF file my Illustrator freezes for up to 10 minutes at a time. This makes productivity EXTREMELY slow and frustrating!

   Illustrator version 22 is not supported on macOS 10.14 (Mojave).
   Please upgrade to version 23 to resolve the issue.

3. macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy

   MacBook Pro 2017 just upgraded to macOS Mojave and the zoom is slow to respond and the artboard moves all over the place. any short term fixes would be appreciated.

4. Libraries drop down doesn't allow me to select other libraries

   I can't click on other libraries from the one that's already showing. I click the drop down menu and I try to click another library, but nothing happens and I stay on the already selected library.

5. High Sierra 10.13.6, AI 22.1 Scrolling bar and File bar not showing. Also all files will close without warning

7. Saving as PDF includes Illustrator layers when "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers" is turned off

   I often iterate ideas on multiple layers, then use the "Save as PDF" option to export a clean version with inactive/hidden layers omitted using "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers" de-activated.

   However, I have noticed recently that when I re-open PDF files saved in this manner, the hidden Illustrator layers are still present, when the hidden data should have been omitted from the PDF.

   Please correct this, as it's causing Illustrator to generate PDF files that are larger than they need to be, with the inclusion of hidden layers, which may also include reference images and templates not needed in the output.

10. Offset Path Bug

    OS: Windows 10
    Illustrator CC 2018 Build 22.1 (64-bit)
    When working with Outlined Letters 9 times out of 10 it works.
    However 1:10 when I do Object > Path > Offset Path - one of the Anchor Points does not move. When this happens it always seems to occur within the plug of the letter and it appears to be an Anchor point that would have been straight down from its original position.

    In the Attached Image I show the original Path and Offset Path as outlines and the Anchor Points are illustrated by Cyan Circles.

    Bryan, as per the comment, please share the test file and provide the clear reproducible steps so the team can try to replicate this on their side.

11. can't copy text of typeface name from character panel

    selecting a typeface's name in the character panel and copying it gives you "Myriad Pro" when pasting.

    This is not a consistent bug. Sometimes when trying to re-create it actually pastes the test of the right typeface you are trying to copy.

12. svgz file got an error in brouser

    Hi,
    I'm working on the latest version of Illustrator CC 2018 - 22.1.0 on windows 8.1 Pro, on a wacom graphics tablet.
    I recently got an error when I save svgz files. It is about a missing line code.
    In the first image are the setting that I have to make for saving the file, and in the second image is the error that I receive in browser.
    In the last image are setting whit which file work, but it ia to big.
    Until a few days ago I had no problem, now every file I save has this error. Please help me! :)

14. Paint Brush and Blob Brush Sizing Issues

    There is annoying sizing issues with Paint Brush and Blob Brush.

    1- Whenever i resize the paint brush tool, and then use the blob brush tool, ( which takes the same size as the paint brush ), then switch back to paint brush, the size of the paint brush reset to the default, although New art has basic appearance option is not active in the appearance panel.

    2-when i use the paint brush tool with it's default settings, it draws with 1 pt stroke weight ( although in the brush panel it says 3ps stroke weight ).
    the issue is when i resize the brush using [ and ], in the stroke panel it still says it's 1pt stroke weight.

    3- when i draw with the paint brush tool, in the brush panel it says 3pt but it draws with 1pt, and after resizing it using [ and ], and then edit the brush preset in the brush panel, it resize them.

    and i found a lot of people asking about different issues about the sizing of these tools.

    i believe there are a lot more of bugs related to the paint brush and the blob brush, please take your time to find out all the issues and fix them, thanks.

15. Missing functionality when using external displays

    When using multiple external displays, Illustrator New Document screen and Helpful Hints popups not displaying properly resulting in inability to see and select options necessary to create a new document or see all of the information in the popups and close the popups.

    I've called support twice without a resolution. Attempts to resolve have included updating both primary and secondary display drivers.

    Work around for creating new is to change Preferences to "Use legacy 'File New' interface", but this doesn't resolve the Helpful Hints popups which can't be closed as a result of this bug.

    My specific system configuration file is attached.

16. After lanching ilustrator the start menu is blank without the crative cload appearing

    This happens in all Adobe CC apps, the basic startup menu is blank.this is in the newest version of Adobe CC. When selecting file - new an error message reading "%CCXFNFTDIOLOG_NAME" pops up where the different layouts would be. I have tried to uninstall and install Creative Cloud and the Adobe Apps twice to fix the errors. Both times this has not fixed the issues. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

    This was fixed in 10.13.4

18. Illustrator and taskbar auto-hide

    I use the auto-hide feature for my taskbar on my dual-monitor Windows machine (specs below), but for some reason in Illustrator ONLY, I have to click out of Illustrator to access my taskbar. This does not happen in Ps, Ae or Pr
    So, if I'm working in Illustrator I have my main panel on my left monitor and my panes on the right. I have to click on my desktop below my panes to access my taskbar. (see screen shot)

19. Illustrator not recognizing Arial font after setting up new computer

    HI All, Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot, but this is my first post. I recently set up a new work computer (MacBook pro, High Sierra 10.13.6 ) to replace my older computer. I have typically made PDF's in illustrator using Arial font, but now when I open these older PDF's the text id highlighted as when the font is not recognized . as well if I import Arial text from excel it pastes it as symbols.

    When I look for Arial in my type pull down it is not available and when I look in the Typekit too, it does not seem to be available, though Arial Narrow is now.

    Is there away to get this font other than through the typekit? or a quick way to get Arial back into my font library?

    It is possible there is a font conflict and you have multiple version of Ariel on your machine. e.g. a TTF and another OTF
