Selecting list view does not change from grid view in "Start" screen.
v22.0.1
Selecting "list" view in the "start" window does not change the view. Have restarted numerous times. Not a big deal, but annoying when I need to see full file names (which are truncated in grid view).

Item on Selection Menu repeated in the dropdown list
I actually using the the spanish version and is there a repeated name for menu option "Object" and it seems to be useless.

Since updating Illustrator to CC 2018 it runs worse than before
Illustrator lags, it crashes. Creative Cloud sucks. Looking to switch over to CorelDraw. That's all I have to say. I'm annoyed and frustrated with Adobe since switching to CC.

Blending mode in text box not saved in the file
Adobe Illustrator 22.0.0, Mac OS 10.11.6 - Extensis Universal Type Client user:
I am experiencing a very troublesome bug:
- make a text box with a few lines
- put a backgrund coloured object under it, so that multiply blending can be shown up easily when applied
- apply a blending mode (such as multiply) to the second line only; now you have a single text box where the first line is normal, the second is in multiply mode
- save the file
- re-open it: the multiply text line has reversed to normal modeThis also happens if you…

Menu Issues
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Illustrator 22.0.1When the Application Frame is disabled, the menu items are displayed incorrectly. The "View" menu is attached.
I have reset the preferences and the menus seemed to work fine, but when I disabled the application frame, they went crazy again.

Pixel Preview option bug
- Illustrator CC 2018 (22.0.1)
- create a circle in the artboard (any size), then open a new window. choose one of these two windows to set view model with Pixel preview. nothing happened. and nothing changed in this window. if zoom in or out. still can see the scale value on the file title bar.

Stock Single Action Download?
There's no forum for Stock Photos so I decided to post here - Why is downloading an Adobe Stock image not at least a double-action before downloading? I went to see more of a photo, miss-clicked and before I could stop it, the image started downloading and I was minus one image credit for an image I can't use. Tech support told me they would issue a "one-time" image credit, but this reeks of opportunism. Today i installed Illustrator last version.
When we click a smart object in photoshop, illustrator open bit doesnt open the vector we are trying to work from smart object.

Dynamic symbols automatically expands
When placing a dynamic symbol on an artboard, then re-opening the document it becomes "expanded" — the link to symbol gets broken. This only occurs with dynamic symbols.

Optimize Illustrator
I've already optimized Illustrator for my graphics card. I keep getting the notification for it, even though I've done it.
I could turn off the notification, but I'd rather get important Adobe update news.
Can the message be automatically deactivated if we've already optimized?

Cannot check resolution (ppi) of an image in CC2018
In CC2017 when you were resizing an image you could check its ppi, in CC2018 this is not possible. I checked in info panel with the image selected but this information is not even there.

Panel Options not displaying on click and hold
In the panel selection for all the tools (natively on the left) as a click and hold on a tool (ie. The rectangle tool) it does not show any options to select anything else such as the ellipse tool. This issue exists on all of the tool buttons as well as trying to selecting font sizes, in the character panel. Another example is the transparency dropdown. The dropdown just doesn't show up when I click it.

Fit to window (apple-0) doesn't take into rulers into account
Using 'fit artboard to window' on mac Illustrator 2018 doesn't work properly if rulers are shown.
Expected: whole artwork to be shown, fit to window.
Result: top of artwork is 'cropped off' by rulers if they are shown. If rulers are hidden, 'fit to window' works as expected.1 vote -

to https://console.adobe.io/downloads/ai left behind a broken link to the 2017 sdk.
Easiest thing to do would be to update the 2017 sdk link on the old devnet page.1 voteWe are moving away from devnet to the Adobe io site. Moving forward that will the place to get all of Adobe SDK.

Applescript convert to paths deletes image used as transparency mask
Since Illustrator 21.1.0 (okay before) there is an problem with Applescript command "convert to paths (every text frame of current document)"
If the text has an image as a transparency mask the script will delete the image. This does not happen if I do this manually within Illustrator. The problem still exists with the latest version of Illustrator.

Macbook completely crashes with Illustrator 2018
Hi, I'm using Illustrator 2018 and quite frequently my MacBook Pro 2017 crashes completely when I'm moving objects around or copying objects. It happened with the 2017 version as well. I can only hard reset my computer, which NEVER happens with other apps.
