  2. Illustrator 22.1 hangs on start; reinstall only fix I can find

    I have a late 2013 Mac Pro, running OS 10.13.5. This problem started about 2 months ago for no apparent reason. When I'm done with Illustrator for the day, I'll quit the application. It may be a couple of days before I have to re-enter illustrator. Most of the time this works, but now, randomly, upon clicking on the application on the launch bar, the splash screen comes up and then the app appears to load, but no start window appears. The illustrator menu bar is there, but is grayed out and you can mouse over the menu bar options…

  3. Missing Layers

    Opened my document this morning and all the correct layers were there, closed out because I made no changes so there was nothing to save. reopened my document again all my layers were gone! only showing the orginal base image. Help

  4. LAUNCH ERROR ISSUE - Google Drive File Stream

    Drive File Stream interfere with Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 7 SP1 x64 bit.

    After installing Google Drive File Stream I get lunch error during Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 (icui18n.dll) and program runs with limited functionality.

    When uninstalling the google drive file stream everything works just fine.

    I shared the same issue with the drive file stream, so i just hope that it will not end up pointing fault one on another. Both applications are important to workflow.

    Here is some good news. We users who have confirmed that the issue is resolved when you install the latest version of Google File Stream.
    Please update to Google Drive File Stream 26.1.37.2022 or later

    I do have one suggestion – please reset preferences and try again. Found the following in your crash report.

  8. High Sierra disables Illustrator

    Since updating to High Sierra last week every time I go to open Illustrator the spinning wheel appears and is never resolved. I chatted with support last week and was told I needed to contact Apple as it's a compatibility issue. They were also not able to help.

  9. AI CC 2018 cannot launch

    Hello,

    When I want to start illustrator, a first error message appears: (aip.png on attachment)

    After clicking on "next",
    a second message appears twice and then asks me to send an error report to Adobe. (impossible ai.png on attachment)

    I managed to run AI CC 2018 in safe mode but it lacks a lot of things like the toolbar. what should I do?

  10. Installation Failure

    When I downloaded Adobe on my Asus Computer, it will load Illustrator and then after a small time period. I will receive the message saying that there was an installation failure. It will also say something such as "Error Code P204".

  12. Error message while launching Illustrator CC 2018

    This message in German occurs while launching Illustrator 2018. After saying OK, a fragmentary Applikation displays, which is not operational. It is completely buggy and blocks even Finder until it is being quit.
    "This process can't be completed, because an unknown message has occurred. [CANT]"
    I have to work with the 2017 version.

  13. Illustrator opening as trial and not recognizing current subscription

    when opening illustrator from CC app manager or directly from start menu,
    illustrator does not allow to open full version even though I have pro subscription. There is a button to buy now but that just takes me to purchase an additional subscription which I'm paid up for. I really need to use Illustrator soon as possible. Thanks

  14. Illustrator freezes all the time

    I am not able to use Illustrator at all. I have updated to the 2018 version. Every time I want to create new project or open existing one the program freezes. No matter if I have GPU Performance option on or off.

  15. Illustrator CC 2017 crashes computer on macOS 10.13 High Sierra

    I didn't know there were serious compatibility issues between Adobe CC and macOS 10.13 High Sierra until after I upgraded.

    Within seconds of launching Illustrator it freezes my entire machine and my only option is a hard reboot.

    Please provide a status update on when this issue will be fixed. I rely on CC for my job and will have to migrate back to 10.12 Sierra in the interim.

  16. "CANT" ERROR

    Have updated to newest version of Illustrator and now get this warning on launch. Program does open but with no preset preferences available.

  18. Optimize Illustrator

    I've already optimized Illustrator for my graphics card. I keep getting the notification for it, even though I've done it.

    I could turn off the notification, but I'd rather get important Adobe update news.

    Can the message be automatically deactivated if we've already optimized?

  19. AIGPUSniffer quit unexpectedly.

    Adobe Illustrator CC 2018

    When trying to open Ai files through Bridge, I get this error:

    'AIGPUSniffer quit unexpectedly.'

    and the file fails to open. I don't experience this issue when opening the same file through finder or through the 'Open' dialog box.
