Illustrator 2022 DOES NOT OPEN.
This new Illustrator update DOES NOT WORK. Just installed the new 2022 update yesterday 11/01, and it worked for half the day, and in the second half, the app refused to open. Tried again this morning 11/02, and there was a small update to Illustrator, so in hopes of fixing the issue from yesterday, I installed the update, and guess what, still broken. 2 votesThis is embarrassing and incredibly sad to hear. I can’t imagine to be cut off a my main tool when I need it.
I guess the only option you can try is to clean all the traces of previous versions installed with the Cleaner Tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html), install 2021 version and hope it work.
So sorry it happened, and I wish I could do more.

Getting Blank screen
Getting grey blank screen not able to see any UI like File, Edit, etc., menus. Even the shortcuts are not working. Within seconds the Adobe illustrator closed automatically. Not able to recover the file as well.

Ai 2022 Menus unresponsive on startup M1 Mac
Top menus are inactive after launch. Have to click on the finder and then back to illustrator to refresh.

Illustrator WILL NOT LAUNCH on Apple Silicon
I've been having this issue for a few weeks. Trying to launch Illustrator 26.0.1 on Apple Silicon (I have tried both the Apple Silicon version and the Intel version). I don't get the splash screen. The menu at the top of the screen loads, and says "Illustrator," but all menu options are grayed out. I can't open a file by right-clicking in Finder and saying "Open with Illustrator". Illustrator freezes/crashes at this point and the only solution is to force quit via the Task Manager. Please help!

Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2 on Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.7 will not launch
I updated to Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2 from 26.0.1. I am on Catalina 10.15.7. Illustrator will not launch and I get the error report with the prompt to send it to Adobe. I restarted my computer and it behaved the same way. I then uninstalled 26.0.2 and re-installed a clean version. Still did not launch. I then uninstalled and installed 26.0.1, which I am using now, but would like to update.

First issue: see the attachment.
Second issue: I can't change the welcome window to not appear with launching Illustrator. The setting for it is greyed out.Regards

Blue Screen of Adobe Illustrator directly after Start
Windows 10 64bit
Dell XPS15 i7, 32GB Ram, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
Adobe Illustrator v 25.2.1With the latest Update to the Illustrator Version above I´m no longer able to start the Program - every time I try to open the Laptop crashes and I receive a Blue Screen immediately. Tried now 3 times in a row, no luck.
Please advise how to solve the issue.

Empty / Blank Home Screen
When I open Adobe Illustrator, NOTHING shows up on my home screen. The only thing I can do is create "New From Template." I've reinstalled the app, but the bug still persists. Please help ASAP.

Intel HD Graphics 4600 unsupported video driver
We've updated to the latest available driver from Intel for this integrated graphics card on our laptop.

However, Illustrator still warns of incompatibilities every time we launch it. We've set our discrete NVIDIA graphics card as the preferred GPU, and it's listed in the Edit > Preferences > Performance > GPU Details. However, Illustrator still appears to be trying to verify the Intel drivers. There's not an option to disable the onboard graphics chip in our BIOS (MSI laptop). We tried disabling the onboard graphics in Windows Device Manager, but that didn't appear to make any difference. We saw…

I think Adobe needs to realize that it has been isolated to Illustrator v25.0 only. Like everyone else, the latest releases of Photoshop v22.0.1, InDesign v16.0, and Bridge v11.0 all work just fine. Moving down to Illustrator v24.3 seemed to help get everyone back to work. However, since this is a newer version, there is a question on the projects that we have been working on with v25.0 will open up without any hiccups with v24.3. I am testing that right now as I have…

All Illustrator workspaces and control area disappears
All Illustrator tools panel, workspaces, saved workspace windows and control area disappears at startup. A complete reinstall of the program does not fix bug.

System Compatibility error
Since the recent update to version 25.2, when I launch I get an error message saying "System Compatability Report." I clicked on "fix" and followed the instructions, Intel says my drivers are up to date, yet I keep getting the same error. Files error 3 and 4 shows my operating system details.

Help Cannot open Illustrator 2021 on MAC w/Catalina OS.
Help...is anyone else having the issue of Illustrator on a Mac with Catalina OS, getting an error msg. saying I have read-only and need to change preferences to read-write??? I already saw and read thru the fix. I made sure my settings where set to that, they already were and am still gettng this error msg. What is happening?

Video driver is not supported

What can I do? I have updated the driver, but the report is still there. Do I get instability and data loss if I suppress this report or deactivate some features in the preferences?2 votes
