1. Save dialog box not showing on 24.1

   At Saving a document for a first time, it only appear the window box with nothing on it. Until I change of Desktop, everything appear in the dialog box, then I can go back to the Illustrator desktop, put a name to the file and save without more issues. I've downgraded to previous release (24.0.3) and everything works fine again.
   I use Mac 10.15.3, Multiple Desktops (One for Photoshop, one for InDesign, one for Illustrator), iMac 5K 24 GB RAM - 2 GB VRAM. The Illustrator version failing: 24.1

2. Import error when trying to export Illustrator settings

   When attempting to export my Illustrator Settings (My Settings -> Export Settings...) to a file for backup I receive the error message "An error occurred. Settings were not imported."

3. AppleScript "export as svg" with options triggers error

4. color

   My colors in Illustrator are still displaying wrong.

   There is a discussion about it here, that claims the bug has been fixed, but it has not.

   I am up-to-date in my version 24.1. I changed my Thunderbolt display colors back to factory settings in hopes of that being the issue, but it did nothing.

   Please fix this bug. I am in the middle of making a postcard and it looks awful. Thank you.

5. Freezing and crashing constantly, Control bar gets messed up first

   Illustrator keeps freezing and frequently crashing. This is not a computer issue, it happened on my old computer and is still happening on my new Lenovo Thinkpad. It happens the same way every time. First the Control bar gets corrupted (look at top menu photo attached). Then menus won't open. Then it crashes. Sometimes I can save first, but often not. I am losing a ton of work! I just lost a half hours work. I need this fixed. I have update illustrator several times it doesn't fix it. I'm attaching an image with the details of my system, but it has been happening on every computer I use regardless of the system.

6. Space After Paragraph is Missing

   I'm using Illustrator 2020, v24.0.1 on a MacBook Pro using OS Mojave v10.14.6

   Not sure where it went, but in the Paragraph tool, the "Space After Paragraph" feature is simply gone. I've rebooted the program and its still missing. Need this basic standard feature back ASAP.

7. Illustrator crashing (V24) when connected to Dell USB docking station

   I'm having random Illustrator CC crashes when I try to open the program while my PC is connected to a docking station via USB. I was trying to open a downloaded file, so I thought that was the issue. Every time I would try to open AI it would stop responding, so I would shut it down. Once I unplugged from the docking station it would start to work normally again. So I'm not sure if AI not responding is related the USB or maybe a file.

   The downloaded file was even moved out of the downloads folder and AI would still crash.

10. "Save As" dialog box not focused

    OSX Catalina 10.15; Illustrator 24.0.1 with Creative Cloud 5.0.0.354
    Safari, Mail, and Notes open in background

    Sometimes after using CMD+SHIFT+S to open Save As dialog, the dialog box will not be focused; filename will not be highlighted; TAB will not cycle through input fields; ESC will not close dialog box. Clicking somewhere on the box is the only way I've found to make it responsive as normal. After doing so, I can close the dialog with ESC; re-entering the keyboard shortcut afterwards tends to result in expected behavior, but sometimes the problem repeats. The keyboard shortcut should immediately open the dialog and focus the filename.
    I haven't been able to reliably reproduce the problem. It's happened with several filetypes, all saved to the user folder on the system drive, with and without other apps open, with files that were heavily edited and files whose only change was to the filename. When saving multiple files one after the other, without going to a different app, some may have the problem and others may not.

11. Issues copying linked graphics from a multi-page PDF opened in Illustrator as links.

    When opening a multi-page PDF in Illustrator, you have the option to import all pages as links for optimal performance. If there is bleed in the file, the size and scale of the graphic is correct UNTIL you copy/paste the link into the same or different document. Copying/pasting causes the linked graphic to resize:

    1. Open multi-page PDF with bleed in Illustrator and choose to Import PDF Pages as Links
    2. Select one of the linked graphics.
    3. Copy and paste into the same file (paste in front makes the issue more apparent).
    4. You will find the pasted graphic is now a different size/scale.

    Theory: When opening a PDF file this way, the linked pages load to the "CropBox." When copying and pasting these linked pages, The pasted graphic relinks itself to the PDF using the "TrimBox" instead. As a result, the image scales the "trimmed" size up to the "cropped/bleed" size when pasting the graphic. This is not expected behavior. I had thought this was working properly in CC 2019, but I was able to reproduce this glitch in CC 2019 as well.

    Workaround: Open your PDF in Acrobat Pro. Open the Set Page Boxes tool and change the TrimBox margins to match the CropBox margins (usually 0) and apply to all pages before saving the PDF. Now that the Trim and Crop sizes are identical, the glitch will be irrelevant when you open the PDF in Illustrator as links for copy/paste.

    Illustrator CC 2020 v24.1.2
    Windows 10 Home v1903

    In the moment that updated the illustrator to the version 24.1.2, the module of Recolor Artwork doesn´t show the name of the color like in the past version of the software, I need a help with this, I use this module a lot.

    The document “ 2020SUMMER08_09.ai” could not be opened. AIRobin cannot open files in the “Adobe Illustrator document” format. IOS is 10.14.6 Version of Illustrator is Version 24.2.1

14. "save as" issue

    When I press cmd + save, it saves but then asks me to save again.

15. Clipboard not working properly

    When copying and pasting in Illustrator, the properties of the object/text etc are not carried over. The only way it seems to work is if you copy the item several times, which is getting tiresome and not practical if using the 'cut' option.

    For example, if I copy and paste anything on 1 artboard, and try to paste in the exact same spot on another artboard (using Paste in place or paste in front/back) it doesn't paste in the same place. Also when copying text it doesn't copy over all the properties (size, font, colour etc). Even when copying objects it changes the colour slightly when pasting it again.

    I have reset my preferences several times, please help.

16. Objects sliding when switching between outline and preview

    Most of the times I'm working with quite simple graphics (preparing already existing logos and graphics for printing).

    Sometimes when switching from preview to outline view, and back, I notice that some objects aren't where they are supposed to be. In outline view they are at their supposed position, but in preview they are somewhere else. It isn't a big problem when I notice it happening - the problem is when I don't and print it like that. When I notice it, moving the object, pressing unite, or several other actions will make the object pop back to their right place (like in outline view).

    Interestingly the graphics will be printed at the position where its located in preview view, and not in outline view, where it is supposed to be.

    I'm not sure whether I'm making any sense. Tried looking for it happening to others, but didn't find anything similar. It's been happening to me in bot Adobe illustrator 2019 and 2020 as well in the past 6 years. It doesn't occur daily, but quite often to be really annoying.

    I've attached 2 screenshots depicting the issue. If I had printed the graphics like that, the output would have been the one in the preview and not the outline view.

17. CSS Properties: Generated CSS selectors are wrong sometimes

    OS: Windows 10 x64
    Illustrator: 24.1.2 and older versions

    Steps:
    I have drawn two paths (shapes) on the same layer.
    I have given these names:
    abc1 and abc11 to each path

    When I select one of them, the generated css in CSS properties panel is ok, the selector's name is right. The issue happens just when I select both paths at the same time and try to generate the CSS.

    The selector name for abc11, is changed wrongly to abc111 (an extra 1 at the end).

    Expected result:

18. Bug: Properties Window - Transform Width & Height Increments Changed

    When adjusting W: or H: values using arrow keys or middle mouse button scroll I expect to be able to increment by .125 inch values which has been the default for my time using AI. Now I increment by 1 inch by default, CTRL allows increments by .5 inches, and Shift increments by 8 inches! All of these are off by 8X from previous defaults.

    I noticed this with the previous update.

    Currently configuration:
    AI 24.1.1 (64 bit),
    WIndows 10 Home V 1909 OS Build 18363.720

19. Fill & Stroke colors & gradients selective but only previous fill visible on object

    Latest Windows PC Version 10 64-bit. Adobe 2020 (24.0.2).
    Everything was normal until I began drawing a regular 5-point star with green fill & black stroke (fill color doesn't really matter). Layer shows correct colors of star in layers panel but the layer folder and what's visible on screen show no change in red fill result (which was set previously). In other words, choosing different fill colors made no difference. However, stroke color can be changed. Tried other shapes with same results. (Even restarted Illustrator.)
    Putting another shape on top of a previous shape caused the stroke of 2nd shape to disappear as if the shape were behind the first shape.
    Then, suddenly, as I'm writing this, everything returned to normal momentarily and the fill color on the star shape (or any other shape) was changeable once again. But within minutes, drawing a different shape assumed the last fill color setting and that could not be changed. Assume the momentary fill color normalcy will return.
    An hour later and fill color is still not changeable visibly.

    This happens because the top layer has a custom appearance applied to it.

    To undo that, you’d have to target the layer again, open the Appearance panel, and click the 'Clear Appearance' button.

20. Layers are messed up, live text broken up

    File was last edited on Dec 23, 2019 - saved in illustrator 2020 .ai and .pdf formats. There were grouped layers, and live text layers.

    When I opened it today, my layer groups are all gone, and my live text has been broken up into separate layers (some mid-word).
