  1. Discover panel’s videos don’t have Full Screen button

    OK, I am a new user and want to use Discover to make some learning.
    Illustrator shows me the video of steps I need to perform.
    How on Earth am I going to view these that small, if I am not familiar with the UI? What good do they make being shrunk like this?

    Also, when you try to see maybe the cog button has something useful, the video covers the menu. Just great.

    And even if you find the 'Read article in a browser' link, it’s somewhere deep below, and you have to scroll all the way down.

  2. Illustrator will automatically convert color codes of shapes and vectors when a document of different color profile is imported.

    I've seen this issue where people complain about color codes in Ai changing automatically, this leads to brand color codes slight off for most projects. I've discovered this issue myself and apparently when profile mismatch warning box are not checked (i.e Ask when opening, Ask when pasting) Ai will automatically convert the colors without asking. If you import multiple images then the color will be way off after 10 images. This happens when Ai is in sRGB and the photos are either untagged or AdobeRGB or other than sRGB.   3. In-app tutorials not opening

    I am using Adobe Illustrator 2020 24.1.2 that I downloaded from Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop.

    I am operating on a Microsoft Windows 10 Home version 10.0.18363.

    I opened the app and clicked on the in-app tutorials available in the Learn section. The tutorials that opens in browsers open just fine, it is only the in-app tutorials that do not respond in any way when clicked on.

    I expected the in-app tutorial to open and show a step-by-step tutorial by opening a new project, similar to the in-app tutorials in other Adobe apps (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.).

  5. eyedropper tool in recolor artwork not available

    In the Recolor Artwork panel, there is no eyedropper tool at the top. There is only the word "Reset". Why is this happening?

  6. The video player for tutorials defaults to the top when you open advanced recolor artwork

    I am following along with the tutorial and when I open advanced recolor artwork, the tutorial window is unclickable and jumps back to the top (so you can't follow along anymore) and I have to close out the color tab in order to scroll back down to the video. It is not a huge problem but it is a small problem. Love you Adobe!

  7. "Introducing keyboard s..." notification will not go away

    I keep getting a notification that's cutoff and won't go away. there's no close button and I cannot move the window. I get half of the message about "introducing keyboard s... While in text mode, press 'C...... B/U/I'....." How can I get rid of this notification?

  8. Delay and Unresponsiveness in Help Search Function

    OS: macOS Sonoma 14.1 - Adobe Illustrator 28.0

    I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Help drop-down menu in Adobe Illustrator. Whenever I attempt to use the search function within this menu, the program becomes unresponsive for a prolonged period. This issue occurs consistently on the initial use of the search feature during a session.

    To Reproduce: Open Adobe Illustrator, click on the 'Help' drop-down menu, type any query into the search bar.

    Expected Result: The search function should respond promptly, displaying results as the query is typed.

  12. Whatever happened to User Guides?

    I myself am an OLD(School) Illustrator user truly believe that the lack of issuing any type of user guide is at best discourteous. Unfortunately, Adobe seems quite happy to Offload (i.e. burden and/or inconvenience) the task to their community. It seems like they used to consider us customers (or even clients) who deserved professional, well-organized, easy-to-use, comprehensive, and UP TO DATE instructions and guides. Hmmm,.. whatever happened to support those who put/keep you in business? I guess in the software business that's progress?

  13. 25.4.1 is available in Creative Cloud but the What's New section of the user guide only covers 25.3.

    The CC installer is bugging me to install 25.4.1, as shown in the highlighted portion of this screenshot. But the "view more" link leads to https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/user-guide.html/illustrator/using/whats-new.ug.html, which only describes 25.3.

    I personally am in the prerelease program, so I can dig up the release notes and see that 25.4.0 is a release that fixes a dozen or so small bugs that haven't affected me, but most people aren't. And 25.4.1 is a total mystery, with nothing in the prerelease section. Can we get the public "what's new" page updated to say that 25.4.0 fixes a bunch of the top…

    Hi on page https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/cutting-dividing-objects.html under Trim objects using Pathfinder effects are swapped icons for pictures marked C and D. See attached picture.

  15. Hilfe reagiert nicht, sowohl Lupe als auch Hilfe unter "Fenster" Mac OS Ventura 13.6.7., AI 28.5

    Die HilfeFunktion ist unzuverlässig.
    Manchmal reagiert sie, manchmal erst in einer zusätzlich neu erstellten Datei, manchmal nach dem Neustart von Illustrator und manchmal gar nicht.
    Das Entdecken-Fenster ist also nicht zugänglich.

  16. Hands-on Tutorials steps images gone

    Illustrator 28.5, on a Mac. The step-by-step images in the hands-on tutorials are gone, at least in the Branding and Identity Practice ones. You can't follow along and create something "as shown" if it's not shown! Please put the images back in these tutorials where they indicate to do it like in the (invisible) image, they were very helpful. It's not really possible to do the steps if you don't know what you're supposed to be doing.

  18. the documentation website shows the documentation for a brief moment then redirects to a ******* sign-in page. I hate that

    i just need to read an answer to access some basic functionality in this baffling inscrutable ever-changing nightmare monstrosity, and the official documentation site has started redirecting to a sign in page and the back button doesn't work. i feel like you should know humans experience this and experience anguish because of it every day. i /know/ that this happens because someone needed to make a number go up in a spreadsheet. sincerely, **** that person with all my heart. thats my idea
