  1. Snap to grid doesn't work in new documents

    Snap to grid doesn't work at all in new documents. It works with no issues whatsoever in old files, but whenever I create a new one, nothing snaps to grid. I tried restarting, didn't work, and the software is up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. Variable width profile is off screen

    I don't understand why but this bug is visible not only in illustrator but also in Premier.

    My issue is that many of the scroll, drop down tools or options appear in random areas of my work area. Most specific is my Variable width profile - instead of dropping down, it appears on the lower end of my illustratror window. I have multiple monitors and on one (IMAC 27") the full drop-down appears on the lower end of the work area. On my LG 34" inch, it appears partially off-screen, none the less off my work area.   3. Optical Kerning issue when outlining and scaling

    If you write something using optical kerning, copy it, paste in front and outline it, the outline matches up. However if you then scale both in pro, lets say 300%, then the live text no longer matches the outlined version (see attached example where the live text is in red and outlined vectors in black). This is causing us problems when scaling objects onto different panels but we are required to supply editable text. Logos etc are no longer exact scaled replicas!
    We are using CC 2019 (as our clients need files in this format).

  5. Copy Paste Causes Illustrator to Crash Repeatedly

    Illustrator crashes before I can Paste a Copy for SPOT UV in Artboard in two ways.
    1. CTRL C causes immediate crash.
    2. Select Copy from drop down menu also causes crash.
    Performed Windows 10 update few hours before crashing started to occur but unsure if Illustrator was included. Creative Cloud shows I'm up to date but doesn't specify the actual date. So, I cant say for sure if the update is causing the problem.

  6. Illustrator v24.1.2 Crashing all the time - operates slow overall

    Illustrator crashing and working slower on my New 2019 Macbook Pro, than my old mid 2014 Macbook Pro. Basic simple functions and my I get the wheel thinking all the time. Adobe hasn't been able to answer any questions. Ive contacted them and Apple multiple times over the past few days. With the computer I bought, it shouldn't have to think at all.

    Please tell me someone knows a fix.

    Catalina 10.15.4
    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

  7. "copy & paste in front" in Illustrator, text is not aligned perfectly

    Our product artist use "copy & paste in front" in Illustrator, the text is not aligned perfectly.
    Please check "2hits test-CC17.pdf".

    ベースの地形図の上にいくつかのレイヤを載せて、表示・非表示を切り替えて何枚かのpng画像を書き出したい

    表示に設定したレイヤのみが表示されているpng画像が出力される

    Your actual result

    非表示にしているはずのレイヤが書き出されたpngファイル上では表示されてしまう（イラストレータの画面上では非表示になっている）

  9. CC 22.1 on MAC OS X El Capitan V10.11.6

    When using the direct selection tool you cannot see what's been selected - the selection doesn't highlight.

    Guides keep disappearing when clicked-on with the selection tool. When you select-all - all the guides disappear.

    Adobe Illustrator cc 2020 is randomly crashing, even if I'm not using it. It's happening at least a couple times a day. I'm using the last version of Catalina in my mac.

  12. Issues copying linked graphics from a multi-page PDF opened in Illustrator as links.

    When opening a multi-page PDF in Illustrator, you have the option to import all pages as links for optimal performance. If there is bleed in the file, the size and scale of the graphic is correct UNTIL you copy/paste the link into the same or different document. Copying/pasting causes the linked graphic to resize:

    1. Open multi-page PDF with bleed in Illustrator and choose to Import PDF Pages as Links
    2. Select one of the linked graphics.
    3. Copy and paste into the same file (paste in front makes the issue more apparent).

  13. Error Recolor artwork Adobe Illustrator 2020 24.1.2

    In the moment that updated the illustrator to the version 24.1.2, the module of Recolor Artwork doesn´t show the name of the color like in the past version of the software, I need a help with this, I use this module a lot.

  14. Opening a file within Bridge

    The document “ 2020SUMMER08_09.ai” could not be opened. AIRobin cannot open files in the “Adobe Illustrator document” format. IOS is 10.14.6 Version of Illustrator is Version 24.2.1

  15. "save as" issue

    MacBook Pro 15-inch

    When I press cmd + save, it saves but then asks me to save again.

  16. CSS Properties: Generated CSS selectors are wrong sometimes

    Hi.
    OS: Windows 10 x64
    Illustrator: 24.1.2 and older versions

    Steps:
    I have drawn two paths (shapes) on the same layer.
    I have given these names:
    abc1 and abc11 to each path

    When I select one of them, the generated css in CSS properties panel is ok, the selector's name is right. The issue happens just when I select both paths at the same time and try to generate the CSS.

    The selector name for abc11, is changed wrongly to abc111 (an extra 1 at the end).

  18. Cannot activate new fonts

    I'm using Illustrator 24.1.2 with a creative cloud student subscription on Mac OS Catalina. When I try to activate any font not installed locally, the activation process will go on for five minutes, then terminate itself. No font would be installed. I Googled around for similar problems, and many suggested looking at the "Font" tab of the creative cloud app. I don't have that tab. The only tab in my creative cloud app is "Apps".

  20. Locked Layers won't allow file to save

    If layers are locked, AI file won't save and close. It will continue to prompt you to save multiple times but won't allow you to close the file due to the asterisk. The asterisk will only leave if you save the file with the layers unlocked.
