Missing Keyboard shortcut
Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6.
Version 23.0
”Sentence case” shortcut still missing from ”Keyboard Shortcuts” palette. And I don't have ”¥” letter on my (Finnish) Keyboard.1 vote -
Offset Path-Transform Again (Crtl D)
Using Offset Path to enlarge an object, works fine. When I use: Transform Again (Crtl D) to duplicate the same action and make another larger object it no longer works. It worked prior to Illustrator 2019 when I needed to make a concentric object. Please fix.

Fonts problem
After upgraded from version 2018 to 2019, the Chinese fonts won't preview properly. Now all I see are squares. It was fine in AI 2018.

Crash Reporter has UX issues
Crash Repoert text field does not allow cursor movement by arrow keys or pos1, end,...
Email format validation is wrong, as it does not allow hyphens.
Check email format on exiting the field, not on submit.Just build a good way to report bugs with a good UX.

Custom scripts from CC2108 not working in CC2019
The big power of Illustrator is its ability to run scripts. I built my workflow around some important scripts. Upgrading to 2019 made them non-functional.
It would be great, if there was a way to update scripts as well.

Transparent PNG linked into AI drawing
I've exported transparent PNG's from Photoshop, and I'm trying to work on an Illustrator drawing with them, so I can eventually put them into my InDesign doc. So, I link in a PNG to Illustrator and it decides to read it as though it has a white background. So, naturally, I don't realize this because I'm working on a white artboard until I get into InDesign and the art is blocking the master, leaving me to go back into all my illustrator files to replace a linked file with embedded artwork. Dialog boxes appearing on second display
I run Illustrator CC on an iMac (5K, 27-inch, late 2015) running Mojave, with a secondary ViewSonic display for browser windows, etc. I do my design work on the iMac display. Sadly, all of my Adobe Illustrator dialog boxes (save, etc.) appear on that second display (this has been the case for the last few CC releases, and predates Mojave)—it got so annoying that I disconnected the second display for a while. No issues with the other Adobe apps I run (Photoshop and InDesign). Would love to see this resolved.
1 votePlease upgrade to latest Illustrtor version 23.0. We did fix something similar. However we do recommend and support Illustrator only on primary monitors

Application Frame & Tabs bar
Often when opening a file & launching the application the tabs bar is inactive as you can see in the attachment.
Disabling the application frame "fixes" it... but still, it's irritating.1 vote -
Legacy shape-drawing functionality is missing
I do not want "smart" shapes by default. My biggest gripe is that one cannot easily draw shapes in rapid succession. For example, if I draw a circle and immediately want to draw another, say, centered around the anchor point of the previous, I have to CMD+SHIFT+A to deselect the previous shape. Otherwise the shape tool is no longer a shape tool but a TRANSFORM tool.
1 voteYou can switch off the bounding box and smart widgets by pressing shortcut Cmd + Shift + B and can use the drawing tools as legacy tools.
You can also select View→Hide bounding box for the same.For reverting back to current state again press the same shortcut or select View → Show bounding box
Hope this would help achieving your workflow.

CC font preview not working any more
When I start typing a font name in the character box I used to get the related font preview pop up , this no longer works at all and is very irritating

The position of the right-click menu doesn't match the 4K screen (200% scale)
Illustrator version: 22.1 (64-bit)
When right click in the document, the position where the menu appears is incorrect.
If the mouse cursor is closer to the top-left corner of the screen, the menu position is closer to the cursor.

Use of Asset Export panel modifies existing SVG when closing without saving changes
When using the Asset Export panel in Illustrator, if an SVG is exported with the same name as the currently open file, when that file is closed without saving changes, the existing file is modified.
Specifically, a <metadata> element is added to the SVG, which results in unexpected behaviour when trying to use the SVG in an HTML document for example.

Illustrator & Mohave
I performed the upgrade to Mojave 10.14 yesterday from High Sierra. Now I am dealing with some really strange & frustrating Finder & Adobe CC behavior. "An unexpected error occurred (error code -8011)" when I try to rename files in Finder.
Illustrator, instead of saving over my open working files, is generating new file versions named in numerical order -without my doing- and I am unable to change these filenames after closing them all and renaming them in Finder. 3D Extrude and Bevel - Rough color transitions
The 3D extrude and bevel doesn't seem to handle transitions between curved surfaces and straight surfaces well. There's a very rough color transition in the resulting 3D render where one would expect a smooth transition. See attached for an example.

Asset Export Undo Deletion
If I delete an asset from the Asset Export Panel, I cannot "undo" to bring it back. I would like to be able to do this in the same way as undoing to restore swatches, layers etc.

Please upgrade to the latest AI version 23.0 to resolve this issue. Version 22 is not supported on 10.14

Some shortcuts not working in 22.1
For example Transform each Ctrl+Shift+Alt+D not working at all.
CC2017 seems to be still better option than CC2018, many bugs.1 vote
