There’s an issue with the undo function (Cmd + Z). Instead of undoing the last action, it jumps back to a much earlier point, and then it can’t be redone — it’s as if the last few steps never happened. Sometimes this also happens when saving the project, which is very problematic. It seems to occur randomly, and the only way to fix it is to close and reopen the program — but that doesn’t recover the lost actions either. I have the latest version of the app and a Macbook Pro M2 with 16gb of RAM.

Illustrator not working
When I open Illustrator the processor dramatically slows down, to the point I can't have anything else open. Photoshop, on the other hand, works fine. When I try to move my mouse in Illustrator it takes ages, the screen starts flickering when I click on something for a few minutes before I click something else and it happens again. Sometimes it crashes. I updated Illustrator last week to the newest version, then uninstalled it because I blamed the problem on the update, but version 29.4 works just as bad. "Other option" for text in Properties panel slow down PC
Illustrator beta 29.5 35
When I try to open "other option" for text in the property panel the software slow down very much, I mean it freeze for at least 10 seconds and it happens every time. If I use the usual full Text panel no problems, but normally using the Properties is easier to have all in the same place, so it's a bit frustrating.

The app is hard to open, and took 20 minutes
The app is very hard to open. It took me 20 minutes to open. But when opened, I cant even make a new file because its not responding. When I open a saved ai files, its not opening just keep on reading the file. Also I already updated the app, restarted my pc several times but still not working. its really frustrating .......

Illustrator performance, conflict with windows 11 desktop manager process
I was trying to rotate an image within illustrator and the performance was unusable. Trying to select then rotate was slow and unresponsive. Made no sense as my workstation has plenty of resources. 24core/512GBram/RTX 5000 ada. I did a quick google search and found a redit post suggesting exiting illustrator, find dwm.exe, end the process (explorer crashes then reloads, so does dwm.exe), restart illustrator. After performing these steps, illustrator was working like it should, responsive and useable.
Should not have to go through this process just to get illustrator to work correctly. Need to investigate with MS what is happening…

Left mouse keeps registering double clicks in Illustrator 2025
My mouse keeps registering double clicks when I only click once. For example when I select multiple object to align to a key object, Illustrator opens up isolation mode on the key object. It is not a hardware issue as I have tried 2 other mouses, same result. I do not experience similar issues in any other programs, just Illustrator. I also reset my preferences and still the error persists. This is so frustrating as I I cannot work effectively and before I updated to 2025 version I did not have this issue. Please assist.

Ich habe seit geraumer Zeit das Problem dass Illustrator extrem langsam wird. meine Dateien sind klein un bestehen nur aus wenigen Vektor-Linien. Das Problem tritt auf, wenn ich Teile anwähle und mit Command C in die Zwischenablage kopiere. Dann wird die Darstellung ****, alles friert ein, das Rädchen dreht sich und manchmal werden die Fenster und Bedienfelder Schwarz. Nach einigen Sekunden funktioniert dann wieder alles. Cannot paste screenshot without error "Not enough memory to place the file"
This started happening with the Illustrator 29, and I can confirm that I do not have this issue with the previous version of Illustrator. On Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1. When I take a screenshot to my clipboard and attempt to paste in illustrator, I receive the error "Not enough memory to place the file." If I drag the same screenshot from the desktop, it places the link fine and can be embedded fine. Thanks.

Spinning wheel when switching between documents if something is selected in the document.
I've noticed that if an object is selected in any document then switching to that document will cause the spinning wheel of death for about 5-10 seconds. If nothing is selected then the switch will happen immediately, like it should do.

Slow selection, 2 seconds to appear delimited, object properties and transform
Hello, I hope you can help me.
I have a Mac Mini with 16gb of RAM.
3 days ago I got the following error. When selecting it takes 2 seconds to appear the information of the Properties and transformation of the selected objects as well as the delimiters.
This causes that when clicking on the object and moving the mouse the object moves, that is if you keep the click pressed.
Also when trying to select several objects everything moves.

GPUパフォーマンスが設定できない
Windows１１ Intel Core i７を使っています。
突然アニメーションズームができなくなってしまいました。・イラレを一度終了し、再度立ち上げる
・ＰＣの電源を一度落とし再度立ち上げる
・イラレ最新版（２０２４）をインストールする
・環境設定のパフォーマンスを設定する（そもそも「互換性のあるGPUは使えません」と出てきてクリックができなかった）
・NIVIDIA GPU最新版をダウンロードする（５５２．２２）
・イラレを一度すべてアンインストールし、インストールしなおす
・Adobe Bridgeのカラー設定を同期する設定にし直す等、検索で出たすべてのことを行ったのですがそれでも解決しません。いったいどうすればいいですか

AI & C4D launched together make Mac Sonoma freeze
Whenever AI 28.4.1 and Cinema 4D 2024.3.2 are open at the same time MacOS freezes and reboots. Has happened at least a dozen times. Apple M2 Max Sonoma 14.4.1.

Libraries are responding super slowly
Interacting with the libraries panel is SUPER slow.
Right clicking on an item takes ~ 15 seconds for the menu to show up.
Selecting something from the menu takes just as long to work.
"adding to library" take 10-15 seconds.
moving/organizing the items in the library takes 10-15 secondsWhile waiting, I can still use the drawing window/artboards no problem.

Illustrator freezing, crashing and lagging. Every time I use it!
I've been having this problem for at least a month or so, but recently it has gotten way worse! Every time I use Illustrator, no matter the file type/size/specs, it would freeze randomly. I cant press anything, I can't save. The only way out is the force quit. This was my "manageable" problem since the files usually were recovered. However, note it is getting way worse. It is freezing multiple times a session and even crashing now. It says it cannot save due to errors or just full on crashes mid save. I am also now even having launch problems!

Application Memory Spiking
MacBook Pro, Apple M2 Pro, 16GB, macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)
Illustrator V 28.3Product is crashing and RAM usage is sky-rocketing to 300GB+, have to wait for the system to recover before making further actions in program.

Depuis que j'ai fait la MÀJ de Ventura (macOS 13.x) vers Sonoma (14.x), le logiciel Illustration est terriblement lent, ça me fait perdre un temps fou! Mon document est simple et léger (102 ko). Lorsque je déplace mes éléments ou même que je fasse une recherche dans (Menu > Aide).

Lag on cursor and selections "sticking" to the cursor
There is a lag on all selections in Illustrator 28.2. When I select any item I literally have to wait 2-3 seconds before I can move my cursor, else the selection "sticks" to my cursor and moves with it until I click again to drop it and then I have to ⌘Z to send the selection back to it's intended location so I can make the changes I need to make. SUPER FRUSTRATING.
I have a new Macbook Pro with loads of RAM and never had this issue until the latest Illustrator update.

Illustrator Freeze completely and I have to restart the app. It has happened 3 times only this week already. In the dock the app doesnt say its unresponsive. I am not able to move any of my objects and cant click on anything cause all panels disappeared. I only saw my artboard with graphics but couldnt do anything.
