1. Dragging a bounding box corner rotates instead of scaling

   I recently updated to the latest version and at the same time discovered this issue. When moving my mouse over to the corner or center of an object, to grab those white scaling boxes, i am given the icon to scale said object, however when i click and drag the object rotates instead. its very frustrating as all icons and tool use indicates it should scale but surprise it rotates.

2. CC 2021 freezing on or right after start after working just fine for 3 weeks

   Hello,
   I worked for 3 weeks just fine with PS, AI and InDesign (all CC 2021) and then one evening the applications won't open again. They are freezing when starting up or crashing right after the start. I have changed nothing on my system, have installed no new software or anything I could imagine causing this behavior. Looking for help I browsed the internet and found that for many people only reinstalling the CC2020 applications helped. So I did that because I had work to finish. I think Adobe is not doing enough to help those many designers who report the exact same weird behavior of their CC 2021 suites.

5. Cannot Export Print Quality PNG from Illustrator 2021 Mac OS Catalina

   Every time I try to export my large print quality files from Illustrator as .png, I get an error message. The Operation Cannot Complete Because of an Unknown Error [!now] I am trying to maintain the 300dpi quality because this is how my printer accepts files. (As .png.) My Illustrator file is 10000 x 10000 pixels at 300 dpi. I have tried it as 150 dpi and all of the export settings and always get the error message. I see on your forums that this has been going on for many years and that I'm not the only designer to experience this issue. Can you please help?

6. Align Object Buttons missing from Touch Bar

   I have a 2016 Macbook pro with a Touch Bar and with this last update of illustrator the align buttons aren't showing up on the Touch Bar when I click on the align icon. "Align to" is showing up but none of the actual align buttons. I used these buttons all of the time and it really speeds up my workflow.

7. AI files opening as old versions

   Illustrator is intermittently not properly saving my files and is opening old versions of the AI file.

   This is my workflow:

   Create design and save AI file. Save PDF file and send to client. Receive amends, open AI file and amend + save. Save PDF file and send to client.

   Repeat until the design is approved.

   At this point I open the AI file and prepare the print files for production.

   However, the AI file is opening as an older version and does not have the latest amends saved. This is costing us £100s in incorrectly manufactured items.

   PLEASE HELP!!!

8. Quick Preview on Mac is not Working

   On Mac with the new Big Sur update, my Illustrator files show up as just the Illustrator logo and it does not preview any artboards.

   Also, when pressing the spacebar, a wheel starts turning, then just the logo pops up. There is no file preview it seems after the Big Sur update.

9. Page selection when opening a PDF

   This is should be beyond trivial to correct, and there are users all over the place asking for this in a different issue report:

   Please fix the UI for page-selection when opening a PDF in Illustrator!
   Browsing through the thumbnails at the top of the dialog should automatically select that page to open below. It is bad UX to scroll through the pages to find the one that you want and then have to manually enter it below---I can't think of a single reason to have these UI elements disconnected (as they presently are), and there's no reason not to do this correctly, as it should amount to simply implementing an "onChange" sort of action in the dialog's code.

10. can't highlight width and height cells or file name when creating a new document

    Why did you take away the ability to easily highlight the document name, width or height when creating a new file? Super irritating.

11. Cannot close window, save dialog endless loop

    I cannot close the current document window without an endless loop of "saved changes to document" (even though its currently saved). This is using the X in the corner to close window. If I say yes, save it, it remains open and won't close, even when I hit X again, endlessly (it just goes back to asking me if I want to save)

12. The Stacked Bar Graph tool doesn’t add up correctly in Illustrator 2021.

    I’m designing a publication with lots of data. These figures have to be absolutely correct, since they’re economical and official. I noticed that the Stacked Bar Graph tool doesn’t produce bars of equal length and doesn’t align on the right. There are notable differences even though all my data add up to 100 and have three decimals.

    What a shock, if anything should be correct this is it.

    It’s not about this utterly backward graph tools which are unchanged over the last 20 odd years, it’s not about Illustrator not being able to use multicore on the Mac. None of these unsolvable problems for the Adobe geniuses. No it’s about simple computation. Adding up numbers and displaying in the correct sizes.
    What a shame.

13. Unknown error when exporting to jpeg or PNG

14. Recolor artwork modal panel stays in place

    The new recolor art modal panel doesn’t remember it’s previous position and always appears in the center of my window. Is this expected ?

    If it could be non modal and docked in my custom
    UI I would appreciate too.

16. Everytime I open Illustrator the toolbars are missing

    Everytime I open Illustrator the toolbars are missing, even if I redefine the mode (classic, essentials, layout) they still don't appear. So everytime I have to go to window and add manually, which works, but if I close I have to do it all over again.

17. Dragging Live Corners Rotates Object Instead of Rounding the Corner

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 1909
    Version: Illustrator 24.3

    Expected result:
    Hovering over a live corner and dragging it should let me round the corner.

    Actual result:
    Dragging a live corner more often than not rotates the object instead. Only by making sure my cursor is hovering as far away as it can be from the corner, but still showing the curve icon and dragging can I consistently get the right behaviour. Otherwise it rotates the object instead.

    This has been something I've experienced since at least March, and there's an Adobe Support Community post about this same issue from April 2018 so this shouldn't be a new problem.

    I want to add that this issue only appears with the Selection Tool and not the Direct Selection Tool. However, switching tools all the time when clearly this feature was supposed to work for both isn't ideal.

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 1909

18. AIX file opens as blank white square

    Working in Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Illustrator 24.3

    Hi, I've recently run into the issue of not being able to open AIX files in illustrator despite having logged in to ArcGIS Online. Now, when I open an AIX file I'm just given a blank white square without any of my layers. I haven't had this issue before, so I'm wondering what is causing it. Any help would be appreciated. File I'm trying to open is attached as well as a screen grab of what I'm seeing when I try to open it.

19. Pathfinder tool functions not working

    I am using Illustrator 2021, which just auto-updated, running on Windows 10.

    The Pathfinder tool's functions (Unite, Minus Front, Intersect, and Exclude) are not working just after Illustrator 2021 updated. The Intersect subfunction still produces a "The filter produced no results" error box, but none of the other functions do anything.

    In the attached image, the two ellipses are supposed to get merged into a lumpy shape, but they don't.
