  1. too slow and laggy, small edits also end up in not responding or hanging and crashes.

    After the last update (24.0.1) Illustrator is too slow and laggy. Crashes Illustrator consistently with Can't finish previewing, small edits also end up in not responding or hanging and crashes.

  2. Horizontal Scroll Not Working

    Horizontal Scroll Not Working. Windows 10 HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-ch0xx. The horizontal scroll works on other apps and on Photoshop. The horizontal scroll only does not work on Illustrator. This is a new install because I am having my macbook pro repaired because I scratched my screen. On my mac the horizontal scroll works fine. The other problems I noticed on both my mac and the new PC install is the alignment distribute input unit of measurement does not show up sometimes.   3. Illustrator is changing my colors

    I'm working on Interl(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU, Windows 10 Family. Latest version of Illustrator.

    I put the right colors on my Artwork on illustrator but as soon as I save it and reopen it, the colors changed. It stays in a dark green but it's never exactly the one I put in the first place.

    Example: I put #336633, save it. When I reopen it, it has changed in #006633 or 336733 ot 316738 or 356633 or even 40683c or 789c4a

  5. Can´t add anchor point with "Delete anchor point" tool + alt.

    In illustrator v. 24.0.1: When the "Delete anchor point" tool is active and alt is pressed down to toggle for the "Add anchor point tool", an anchor point can't be added to a line.

  6. Bleed settings are not saving with document

    Since I updated Illustrator, all of my print documents are not saving the bleed settings. Here is how to replicate the problem:

    1) I open an existing print document (.ai format) in Illustrator
    2) Go to File --> Document Setup. I have always had the bleed set to 0.125" (or 3.175 mm) for all borders (top, bottom, left, right), but now they all show zero (0).
    3) I change the bleed to 0.125" on all edges again, then click OK.
    4) I save the document, close the document, then re-open the document
    5) I go to File --> Document Setup,…

  7. Space After Paragraph is Missing

    I'm using Illustrator 2020, v24.0.1 on a MacBook Pro using OS Mojave v10.14.6

    Not sure where it went, but in the Paragraph tool, the "Space After Paragraph" feature is simply gone. I've rebooted the program and its still missing. Need this basic standard feature back ASAP.

  8. Extra "Object" title in Select menu

    Under the Select menu, there's a submenu called "Object", which allows you to quickly select certain kinds of things. But, directly below that one is another menu choice also called "Object" which seems to have no function. This appears to be an error and should be removed.

  9. New update on Illustrator 24.0.01 will not allow Print

    AI 24.0.01 (64-bit) will not allow me to print to my network printer. Error window box generates with a Red Triangle with an exclamation mark, and message reads "Can't print the illustration."

  10. Cannot Type in Search bar in the File Open dialog

    After saving a file in Illustrator, I go to File > Open > folder my files are in. Next, I use the upper right search bar to find the file I need. It will not allow me to type in that search bar. I have to close out of Illustrator, then reopen and start all over again to be able to type in the search bar.

  11. Since updating to the 2020 version of CC, Illustrator seems to freeze up.

    Freezing. Plus, I'm trying to create a dotted stroke with the stroke panel and my stroke always reverts to a solid line.
    I'm running Windows 10 and just updated it today 12/7/19 and no change.

  12. Temp file string prepended to filename slug

    When saving a PDF copy of a file with cropmarks to a network share a temporary string such as "ai157536670945_" is prepended to the filename in the page info/slug in the cropmark area.

  13. Symbols and SVGs issues (Illustrator 2020)

    Issue: When an SVG is reopened in Illustrator with a symbol included in the artboard, the symbol shifts in position within a bounding box and crops as if it is within a Clipping Mask. Any black colour value within a symbol isn’t recognised and is automatically changed to HEX colour #000000. When the SVG is previewed in Finder and uploaded to Magento the symbols appear in the correct position.

    Specs and testing: The issue only occurs since updating to Illustrator 2020 (tested on both macOS Majave (10.14 & 10.14.5) and macOS Catalina (10.15.1).

  14. Glitch in outlining a dotted stroke

    macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Illustrator 2020

    I made a line, applied dashed line, adjusted gap(2,4) and dash(0,01) to make it look like dots and outlined. Random dots have been cut in half after outlining.
    It never happened to me before.

  15. Display not being refreshed, scrolling through Artwork while zoomed in and dragging an object

    When I have zoomed into my artwork and drag an object - for example draw a rectangle or line that reaches the end of the window while dragging, the artboard scrolls, but the image is not refreshed. Only the ruler shows me, that I am scrolling... Even when I stop dragging and release the mousebutton, the image is not fully refreshed. Otherwise: when I drag the Marquee-Tool to the end of the window, scrolling starts and the image gets constantly refreshed while dragging.   16. Letter Spacing

    Open Type Letter Spacing doesn’t work properly. If I enable "all caps" the (usually ******) spacing is not applied.

  17. Drag and Drop image from Illustrator HTML5 extension to server/Desktop is not working on MAC OSX

    Adobe Illustrator CC 23.0.3, Mac OS 10.14.6(Mojave)

    Step To Reproduce issue:

    1) create one HTML5 extension.

    2) Display images on extension(you can display images from you local disk with html tag <img>)

    3) try to drag & drop image from extension to Browser/desktop(on browser you can use google image search dropbox).

    Expected Result : Image should be dropped at google image search/desktop(In html cep cookbook clearly mentioned that drag & drop between extension and browser/desktop supported).

    Current Result : Image is not getting dropped.

    Note: same use case is working fine on windows os

  18. Keyboard arrow not working in reflect panel

    The down arrow works but the up arrow on the keyboard does not. Works fine in all other aspects using Illustrator, just the reflect panel is having issues.

  19. CC 2020 AI and InDesign Crashing and Freezing

    Having major issues with both Illustrator and InDesign 2020.

    For Illustrator, if I double click an AI file in a finder window it crashes 100% of the time on launch, which in turn deletes all recent docs from AI's start up menu. Things are a bit more stable when launching the app and then opening a file, but still seems to easily crash when doing a simple task such as electing the font dropdown menu (not even selecting a font).

  20. Colors disappear when moving a Live Paint object

    I have been illustrating vector images on iPad Pro Adobe Fresco. When exported to PDF (why can't I export as illustrator file and keep the layers? 1st missing thing (not really bug but just irritating)) and opened in Illustrator, I fill the line drawings with Live Paint bucket. When just moving this fully painted image from its place, some colors disappear in this image? Becomes transparent again: 2nd bug
