1. Wake from sleep issues

   Illustrator, since the update, when waking from sleep, or even just display sleep - has started to resize the main app window to about 2/3 height of the screen and then when transforming objects (any movement or rotation etc) the pasteboard flickers. The pasteboard also changes shade when shifting bewteen tools - again only after waking from sleep.

   It is a brand new Mac Mini, and only affects Illustrator WITHIN the window - i.e. only the pasteboard - no menus or tools etc flicker.

   Edit: I have just noticed I get same behaviour with the window resize and some flickering of the actual image in photoshop too.

   Edit:
   • In Illustrator, the preview and pasteboard change shade when hitting space for hand tool - interestingly ONLY when the mouse cursor is within the pasteboard area. If it is over control or palettes etc then no change in preview.

   • Closing document and reopening seems to sort the issue (no need to relaunch Illustrator)

   Something to do with how CC is communicating with M1 GPU?

   Mac Mini M1 2020, macOS Big Sur 11.4, Illustrator 25.3, Photoshop 22.4.2

2. Properties panel and layers not showing in v25.3

   Since updating I can't see my properties and layers panel without reducing the panel to the smaller size.

3. Can't export SVG

   trying to export selection as SVG. Illustrator goes through the motions, opens the destination folder and... nothing, no file, not a thing.

4. Illustrator found an issue with wacom driver…

   Hello,
   First issue: see the attachment.
   Second issue: I can't change the welcome window to not appear with launching Illustrator. The setting for it is greyed out.

5. Out of GPU memory issue

   Using JS to batch processing for hundreds of .ai files, Out of GPU memory warning popup. You can find the warning information in attachment.
   During batch processing, each loop will close the processed image by using document.close() function.

6. Keyboard shortcuts not saving. Unable to change certain keyboard shortcuts.

   Latest updates are not storing keyboard shortcuts or reverting back to default with no way to resolve.

   I changed the CPU/GPU preview shortcut (cmd+E) to something else and set cmd+E to be a shortcut for Expand. It doesn't update in the menu and reverts back after restarting Illustrator. I've tried reinstalling, reseting preferences and deleting my custom keyboard shortcuts and resetting them with no success at keeping the shortcuts as I've set them.

   I should be able to overwrite or change keyboard shortcuts, especially those that aren't used as often and I don't personally see the need to have a keyboard shortcut for previewing on CPU/GPU.

   OS – Big Sur 11.2.3
   Adobe AI - v25.2.3

7. Partially read the file disappears with legacy format

   In Illustrator 25.2.3, myself, my client, his colleague, and their client, all run into a nasty bug where some ai files will not open.

   The dialog saying Illustrator could only partially read the file will appear and the file can't be recovered properly. Sometimes the file(s) can be opened on a second attempt, but, we have found that only by saving the files in Legacy format, will this bug disappear and the files are usable once again.

8. GPU preview replaced by CPU permanently

   Mojave 10.14.6 / Ill version 25.2.1 / GPU Performance Activated / AMD Radeon Pro 570X
   The ai file opens in CPU preview and cannot return to GPU. Colours seem altered, very vivid. That happens to all files with linked images! I worked as ususal, can't remember if any update run.
   I have downgraded Illustrator to 25.2, & Photoshop to 22.2 and problem was not fixed.

9. Swatch Conflict Dialog, Apply to All checkbox not working

   After checking the Apply to all checkbox when I get a swatch conflict, the box keeps popping up with more conflicts. Esc key doesn't end it. Haven't seen this before v25.

10. Textframe bugs out, and won't change color. Had to make new text boxes

    Found a bug where a specific text box will NOT ovewrite the color of the text. I tried deleting paragraph styles, making new paragraph styles with different color, character styles and eyedropper tool. I can change weight, italics etc but the color would NOT change, despite the changes appearing in the appearance panels and other areas. Fixed by making new text boxes and moving the copy to those, but an annoying bug for sure.

11. Saving issues

    I have an issue with illustrator, files are not saving properly. The file 15 year warranty vector I created is saving as "~ai-87c8b406-558b-424b-915b-974d5eb7acda_"

    Or it doesnt save at all.

    I am running the latest illustrator

12. Blue Screen of Adobe Illustrator directly after Start

    Windows 10 64bit
    Dell XPS15 i7, 32GB Ram, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
    Adobe Illustrator v 25.2.1

    With the latest Update to the Illustrator Version above I´m no longer able to start the Program - every time I try to open the Laptop crashes and I receive a Blue Screen immediately. Tried now 3 times in a row, no luck.
    Please advise how to solve the issue.
    Before the Update there were no issues at all.

14. Scrubby Zoom Suddenly Stops Working

    2019 MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.7. Adobe Illustrator 25.2.

    Scrubby zoom suddenly stops working, even though GPU and Animated Zoom are still enabled within Preferences. This happens once or twice a week; the only way I have found to resolve is restarting the MacBook.

    It happens while working in relatively small/simple documents, all of a sudden, without making any changes to Preferences.

    Animated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

15. Falla al guardar los documentos de ilustrator

    Al momento de guardar los documentos, por muy sencillo que sea, solo trazos básico, no importa lo que contenga, siempre se demora muchísimo al guardar, y al hacerlo, la pantalla se vuelve negra y solo se visualizan algunas ventanas de herramientas, y queda todo en negro hasta que regresa a la normalidad cuando finalmente guardó los cambios. Estoy trabajando con la última actualización (25.2.1), hoy la desinstale y la volví a instalar para ver si tenía alguna mejoría, pero sigue igual.

16. Clicking an object force drags it wherever my mouse goes

    Anytime I click on an object in Illustrator 25.2 it "sticks" to my cursor. If i'm using my mouse (a Logitech MX Master), it sticks for about 1 second, and drops the object wherever my cursor is positioned. If I use my Macbook's trackpad, it stays stuck until I click again.

    This has made Illustrator completely unusable in every way, and I rely on it for my career. I have no idea what to do, please help me!

17. Editing a symbol doesn't stay in-place and keeps artboards visible

    1) Editing symbols in place doesn't stay "in place"
    When I double-click a symbol to edit it in place, it moves to a totally different part of the artboard. When I try to position the symbol where I want it and then exit, it moves to a new place in the artboard. When I go to edit it again, it moves yet again elsewhere. It's impossible to get it to stay anywhere consistently.

    2) Editing symbols keeps the "multi" artboard context, which makes it hard to see the symbol you're working on because it's overlaid on the gray background, randomly assigned to some place among all the various artboards being used in the document. So it may cross several artboards, no artboards, or part artboard and part no artboard. Symbols should have no artboard context at all and be displayed on an entirely white field. There is no meaning to a symbol being contained or not contained within a single artboard, to say nothing of it spanning more than one.

18. Eyedropper making everything white

    When I select a shape and try to use the eyedropper tool to make it the same color as another shape it turns white. All of my layers are unlocked and visible so I am not sure what it going on.

19. AI loses GPU support when using rulers or accessing grouped elements

    Hello @ Adobe!
    Both of my macs (Big Sur, latest updates) show the same reproducible bug with Adobe Ai Version 25 (incl. 25.2): GPU support works just fine when I open a new document and start from scratch. Turning on Rulers or accessing grouped elements by double click instantly turns off GPU support wich I cannot turn back on. After that Ai responds slowly and overall it’s no pleasure to work with. To fix this I need to make sure that in a document all rulers and guides are switched off/deleted. With these measures I can reopen the document and have full GPU rendering until I begin using rulers/guides again.

    These issues are the same on my 2020 MBP 13 M1 and my 2019 iMac i9 with Vega48. First I thought it was because of the new M1 Macs with Rosetta2 but on the Intel Mac with a very different graphics card it was just the same. The problems unfortunately persists.

    I tried un/reinstalling, deleting caches and preferences etc. – nothing worked for Ai from 25.0 to 25.1.

    On my main machine (iMac) I downgraded to Ai 24.3. This solved the issue and I’m able to work again.

    For me Ai 25.x is a completely broken version. I would be very happy if Adobe would quickly provide a bug fix here.

20. Illustrator 2021 (25.1.0) slows, freezes, crashes every 1-3 hours.

    I have tried to use Illustrator 25.1.0 on 3 different laptops, ALL instances resulted in the same problem. The application will perform normally for a while, then at some point, typically between 1-3 hours of constant use, the function you are asking for via mouse input will freeze. (examples: moving a text box or shape, highlighting text, etc.) Sometimes the freeze will be preceded by a slight slow down in responsiveness. Once there is a freeze, the menu pull downs are inoperable too, so you can't ask it to save. When it freezes, a recovery file may or may not be generated. The freeze will often require task manager to end. This same type of freeze was happening to me with previous AI versions on laptop #1 dating back to 2018. Recently, which may have coincided with August 2020 release (version 24.3) or October 2020 release (version 25.0), the chronic crashing problem on laptop#1 seemed to be alleviated and I was so relieved that problem might have been fixed after 2+ years of suffering through loosing my work ALL THE TIME and having NO resolution via technical support. However, once January 25.1.0 was updated, the pattern of crashes started again, at which point I started investigating the issue in other laptops. The files I have been testing are lines only, with no effects, and no digital images. 25MB. No art pens installed for any of the laptops.
