AI crashes when zooming on IPad Pro 12- April 2021
AI was working fine on my iPad Pro, but it’s been crashing almost every time I pinch zoom the past two days. I have no imported fonts in the file I’m working on. The only difference from previous files I’ve worked in with no issue is: I’ve used the mirror function in several layers. Could those be responsible?
Currently, I’m unable to accomplish the most basic tasks because the app either crashes when I zoom, or the image freezes in place without updating any of the commands or strokes I put in.
How do I fix this? I need to…

Angezeigte Höhe eines Kreises und Position ist falsch.
Windows Illustrator Version 25.2.1 64bit
Zum radialen Anordnen von Zahlen benutze ich immer einen runden Aussenkreis.
Wie folgt gehe ich dabei vor:
- Arbeitkreis Zeichnen XY auf 0, Ø40mm
- zu positionierende Zahl anwählen > und positionieren : X 0 Y 13mm
- Kreis und Zahl anwählen drehen um 18°
- nächste Zahl anwählen > und positionieren : X 0 Y 13mm
- Kreis und Zahl anwählen drehen um 18°
- und so weiter
jedoch musste ich jetzt feststellen, dass sich die angezeigte Höhe des Kreises in der Werkzeugleiste der Höhe der sich im Kreis befindenden Zahlen anpasst und auch die Y Position dadurch ändert. Obwohl…

place lets me bring image in but then after resizing image it disappears
Windows 10 latest build, CC latest build, Illustrator latest build. Using File->Place with a .jpg brings the image in and allows me to place it in the workspace, but when I resize it and try to move it to the artboard the image disappears.

Overprint fill
Overprint fill, if all layer is chosen sometimes it shows like not all elements are chosen like overprint fill or oposite. It is serios mistkake as can cost a lot of money and lost reputation companies by this bug. This kind of error should be corrected immediately by Adobe. If not all elements are overprint filled maybe it can be a good idea to show like mid terms used? Dear Adobe Team, please answer the bug solution.

Overprint Setting & colour settings

overprint cant be applied to groups, individual objects within that group remain unset to overprint, even tho the tick box claims its overprinting, it is not - this is misleading & downright dangerousfurther more the color issue shown in the video , your objects should not do that , it again expands the risk for error , basically all the print sensitive setting in AI latest version have stopped functioning logically if you ask me & really up the risk for errors in print, never mind that going through all objects individually is tedious & unnecessary, prolongs…

Incorrect file extension when exporting to *.png
Hello! When I try to export an illustration to *.png, the file generated ends up with a *.dwg extension. If I rename the *.dwg-file to *.png and open it it's still a valid *.png file.
The export is done using File->Export->Export As... Select *.png as file type, type a filename (with no dot in it), press Export. Select Resolution 150ppi, press ok. A *.dwg file is now created at the selected path

Illustrator 2021 not fit for purpose
weird things are happening to shape edges and anchor points in illustrator 2021 - had to revert to 2020 version.

Colored corners in older illustrator vector drawings
Opening older illustrator files, some corners are colored. It disappears only when moving a handle in the anchor point of this corner.

Grid Repeat becomes Non-Native Art after exiting and reopening the file .
Windows 10 OS and Latest version of Illustrator (April 19th, 2021).
I created a grid repeat of a object group. Then saved the file. Then closed the file. Upon reopening the file the grid repeat has become a non-native art object which I cannot edit.
The result was utter frustration.

Illustrator crash dialogue on fresh relaunch

Illustrator 25.2.1Illustrator crashed over 5 days ago. Ever since, whether I close Illustrator properly or not, I receive the "Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly" dialogue box every time I open the app.

Ai2020で制作したデータだと思います。Ai2021で開いたところ、「￥」が「＼」に文字化けします。

inconsistent covert to artboard
If I attempt tp select a pattern inner boundry to convert to an artboard it doesn't always work. In fact I have to keep tapping it like some secret atari code and maybe it only takes 2 min or maybe it never happens and I have to turn off the computer before I smash it. Please make the conversion to an artboard easier, or at least make it easier to export patterns into a file for use elsewhere. Right now you have 100s of different ways to do it and they each have a problem. This was the best way,…

Bug in Illustrator v 25.2.1 - Under Type > Font. Font menu option inactive
Upon clicking the Type>Font menu option, nothing happens. Used to bring up list of fonts. Apparently, the person responsible for menu functionality wasn't thorough enough to include it the latest update.

Locking everything exept one vector
Hi, week ago i updated from AI 2015 to AI 2021 and had this issue a couple of times, while isolating a vector i get stuck in it, everything else becomse grayish and i cant get back in to all the layers, i can interact with them however theres gray over all of them, hope the image explains it better. If i save the file and close it and open it its still the same problem, i guess its some feature, but i don't know how to deactivate it and haven't found any help online. Thanks!

Will not change stroke color
I am trying to trace an object on illustrator but it will not let me change the color of the stroke, it will not even bring up the color swatches in the normal stroke panel for me to click on. I have tried resetting essentials classic, resetting preferences, and changing the view.

The Swatches panel is empty indeed, the only swatch in it is the sport RGB white. Perhaps somebody deleted them to save some file size?
If you want to have default swatches though, you can load them back.
Open Swatches panel, click the 'bookshelf' 'Swatch Libraries menu' button, locate 'Default Swatches' and choose 'Web'. Now you can select a swatch you need directly from the opened panel, or drag-n-drop a selection of swatches you need into the main Swatches panel.

Adobe Illustrator 2021 on Big Sur seems to have MANY bugs, one of them is when a vector is selected, its doesn't detect the colour.
Note Purple but brow odd shape is selected.
