Swatches not naming properly vs document color mode
I create my document in CMYK but when I open my swatches the first time (I have done no copying or pasting into the document or anything to mess with any color settings), they are CMYK blends with RGB names. Why is it doing that and what can I do to fix it?

Unable to apply gradient on Rectangle Box
Hi,
I am unable to apply a gradient color for my rectangle box when I use the Fill tool, I tried changing to a solid color to see if the problem lies with only the gradient, but i isn't setting a color at all.Could you please solve this bug issue as soon as possible as I am using Illustrator 2020.

Overprint attribute does not work adequately
Create or select any object. On the Attributes panel set Overprint Fill/Stroke checkmark.
After deselecting object Overprint attribute remains CHECKED instead of resetting. And every newly created object instantly receive this Overprint attribute!Very annoying and sometimes cause real troubles with undesired overprinted objects.
Overprint attribute should reset to UNCHECKED after deselecting an object.

Gradient issues
2 problems in CC2020 on Mac OSX 10.15.1:
1. Gradient annotator doesn't show on expanded shapes

Color Swatches
Color swatches have disappeared at random. I try adding new color swatches by a USER defined library, and it's adding only patterns, no colors.

Gradient stays selected when trying to pick a solid colour
After upgrading to v23, it's become very difficult to switch from having a gradient selected and to having a solid colour.

Eyedropper doesn't work on groups
When I select a group and I try to use the eyedropper tool, this seems to not work.
In the fill box in the toolbar it appears as the colour already changed, but the group still looks with the original colour.
If I ungroup the group, or if I unite the group with the pathfinder (plus cmd+8), then the eyedropper works regularly, but this is not the ideal way to work. I already contacted the support online, but the issue hasn't been sorted out properly.I use MacOS High Sierra — Version 10.13.6

Recolor artwork doesn't work
To recolour an image from 16 to 5 colors (or other amount) doesn't work. It only makes the image appear lighter but it is still 16 colours.

Spot color names are incorrect in other applications
I'm using Illustrator 2020 (24.0.1) on macOS Mojave (10.14.6) in Japanese.
Opened an Illustrator 2020 file containing spot colors with Japanese names in Acrobat or place it to InDesign, the names are not as expected.
I can use English names for the new ones, but changing InDesign ink settings in all existing files can be difficult.

Non Functional Gradient stop bug in 'Color' panel
When adjusting a colour stop its colour is visible in the 'Color' panel's 'Fill' field. You used to be able to cancel the stop colour by clicking on this 'Fill' field to go back to the gradient fill and to get the 'Stroke' colour back in sight.
This is no longer the case. In spite of Illustrator flashing the tool tip 'Click to cancel' clicking does not work at all. The fill colour is stuck on the 'Colour Stop's colour.
Now you can only see the 'Stroke' field in the 'Gradient' panel and the 'Tools' panel. This is a pain…54 votesCompleted (Comments Open) ·

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

eyedropper tool doens't pick up properties
The eyedropper tool used to be able to pick up properties from one vector to another. for example when there is a vector shape with a border and a gradient and what to copy the same properties (same border and gradient) on to a different vector shape. Tried using shift, or double clicking on the eyedropper tool to look at the eyedropper options.

Pattern Swatches Shift when Copied & Pasted
Copying and pasting a pattern filled object or text, especially when pasting into a new document, should not shift the pattern. This causes many issues when passing files to others.
0 votesGenerally this behavior is controlled by the option, Preferences > General > Transform Pattern Tiles.
However the positioning of a pattern inside of an object is controlled by the origin point of a specific document, the 0,0 position on rulers, which may differ in different documents. Ai recalculates local coordinates on paste, preserving the look of the pattern, but if you change the origin later, the pattern will shift.
Please comment back if toggling this option does not work for you.

Illustrator Gradient looses blending when copied and pasted.
Trying to copy and paste a design with a gradient on it, And the gradient apears chunkier and sharper when copied into a new canvas. If i copy on the original canvas its fine, but not on a new one. Ive checked the grain values and opacity and they are all the same. Wondering if any one has a sultion to fix this bug?

Unable to Merge swatches, screen freezes
In latest version of Illustrator 2020, I am running the script that brings Swatch Conflict Dialog, which is ok but it does not allow me to merge swatches. I cannot select or change radio button selection. I have attached the screenshot of the dialog.

app.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevel.DONTDISPLAYALERTS;
This assumes the default option selected in the dialog and proceed with further script execution.

BUG: pdf with CMYK JPEG is inverted when opened in Illustrator
Tested on Mac OS 10.14.6 with Adobe Illustrator 23.0.4
METHOD
open a PDF that contains a CMYK JPEG image in Illustrator
(This PDF was created by converting a CMYK JPEG file to PDF in Acrobat DC Pro 2019)RESULT
image is shown inverted in illustrator (same issue opened in Photoshop as "image").
Opening in Photoshop as "page" it looks ok, but this cannot be selected in Illustrator.PDF and original JPEG are attached.

Color change Problems
I have a collection of swatch colors that I save, and for some reason, they are all getting dull. A bright orange to darker gradient turns to a muddy orange and all of the swatches are dull. I copy the logo from an older file and realize how dull my colors have become. You can see how dull the colors have become in the attached image. Also, the Graphic Styles have become duller. Eyedropper tool to show color values on hover like Photoshop does
Please can you make the eyedropper work how Photoshop does so that when you hover the tool over your artwork, it shows the color values of what is under the cursor in the Info panel. You can get the info by clicking but would be really useful with gradients to see what that specific value is rather than it picking up the gradient when you click.
