Outline mode does not workI have Illustrator CC, I have tried the work around of Ctrl+E then Ctrl+Y.
Outline mode displays the lines but freeze and won’t allow the color to leave the image or the lines to be manipulated. I’m so fed up how could I possibly use this program professionally, i have looked up the work around and tried Ctrl+E followed by Ctrl+Y and have tried to access through view mode, still no joy. I have shut down and reopened files 8 times and started again three times on new art board. This problem has gone on for two days. I had…2 votes

GPU preview = poor quality in 22.1Image quality is poor with GPU performance activated in 22.1: lines appear too thick, anchor points are left on screen when they should have cleared, random artifacts appear on screen for no apparent reason. Solution is either deactivated GPU performance (not acceptable) or toggling to CPU preview on every document every single time the document is opened (also not acceptable). Please work on a fix for this before releasing 22.1 to the public. 5 votes

3D Extrude + Bevel = FAIL3D extruded rendering is an absolute fail on Adobe CC 22.0.1 It's 2017 (nearly 2018) and still, Adobe can't get Illustrator to render text in 3D without undesirable results / unwanted artifacts... c'mon guys! Let's "FUSE" the engine to make 3D type in illustrator more powerful and display more accurately without errors. Thanks! 8 votesI am closing the ticket due to lack of response.

Shape tools lagging and leaving mark when resizingI just started using Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 7. I began using some of the shape tools and started to experience an issue. Each time I go to resize a shape or move it, the shape leaves an impression of its previous size or location. I tried to uninstall Illustrator and then reinstall, yet the problem persists. If I minimize or maximize the art board the lines go away. I have also found that the smart guides don't work when re positioning the shapes. 2 votesRequest to Contact Support · AdminIllustrator Engineering

Rendering Issue When Not Using Application FrameWhen the Application Frame is turned off and a file is opened it does not render correctly. Instead broken sections of the screen appear. It's different each time. In order for the file to render the Application Frame must be turned on. It can then be turned back off if the user prefers not to work in the Application Frame. I have attached a screen grab of one of the files opened with the Application Frame turned off. 2 votes

Filled shape does not follow the curve exactlyIf I fill the new shape with color it doesn´t really work. I get a straight outline instead of a curve. Additionally there is a difference between outline view and colored view. 9 votesPlease accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Flickering cursor & preview bugs in bitmapAdobe Illustrator CC 2018 (22.0.1)
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6The cursor constantly flickers about a month ago when I was still using AI CC 2017 version. After I updated the CC to the latest version yesterday, the problem still occurred. Besides, when I import a bitmap/ tiff file to AI, the whole image cannot be viewed. Some parts are hidden. It has the same issue when i export the AI file to jpg. 6 votes

Phantom lines at 315° are drawn in Outline mode at large zoom levelsIllustrator CC 22.0.1 This has happened occasionally in the past few versions.
I'll create an object with the pen tool, and close the object. When I zoom to make modifications on the path I sometimes see a path shoot off to the right at ~315° from one of the anchor points and it looks like the path connecting two anchor points isn't there. As I move it around or zoom out it'll disappear, but if I move back it comes back. Editing the object isn't affected, but it is highly visually distracting. Attached video file illustrates.-

Vector shapes look distortedIf I am working on a graphic made up of many different shapes, the individual shapes will start to appear as distorted in shape and color, especially if I start altering the pattern or moving shapes around, then the whole graphic just starts to randomly distort certain shapes. Making it really difficult to focus on creating a pattern or image. 1 vote

Artifacts that shouldn't be thereI've noticed that sometimes there will remain some random artefacts of after deleting anchors that are ordered in lines or curves around each other.
It will remain there, can't be selected, and even if the rest of the original form is removed, it still remain.
It is not shown after rendering the image though.
It occurs sometimes, and could be disturbing.Latest in CC 2018-01 2 votesIf this problem is still an issue, it’d be necessary to provide a test file, full OS and hardware specs, including GPU and the driver, so that the team can try to reproduce it.

Proof Colors preview doesn't work on GPU (NVidia), only CPUIllustrator CC 2017 version 21.1.0 (64 bit)
Dual Nvidia GTX 1060 cards, 6 GB VRAM (Not SLI)
Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00 GHzProof Colors preview doesn't work with GPU rendering, only on CPU. Basically, when using GPU rendering, turning on Proof Colors and changing the proof setup to Simulate Paper Color, for example, does absolutely nothing. Document is in CMYK color mode, simulating SWOP 2, with simulate paper color activated. When I change to CPU rendering, this works as expected. GPU rendering in InDesign and Photoshop also works as expected. I've tried deleting Illustrator preferences, restarting, etc. 7 votes

Bugged redraw/tearing when drawing a shape causes window to scroll- Illustrator CC2017.1.0
- Click and drag with a shape tool (e.g. rectangle) and while dragging move to the edge of the window so it causes it to scroll.
- The window should redraw the newly visible parts of the document as the window scrolls them into view.
- Depending on whether GPU acceleration is enabled or not you get nothing or you get the edge pixels repeated endlessly during the scroll until you release the mouse.

A large triangular glitch renders on canvas when selecting and moving objectsTried working on a new artboard to learn interface and immediately started getting this problem - this happens when I select an object and try to move it. Then I am unable to move anything properly. I have been unable to find any settings that may have caused this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have received this same problem on different files and art boards.
A triangular cut out that appears on the artboard and causes the objects to malfunction when manipulated. If I try to create something new, it disappears and then shows up again. Adobe Illustrator CC 22.0.1 2 votesI am closing the ticket due to lack of response.
