SVG keywords do not save
When i add keywords in bridge but edit the SVG in illustrator the keywords will not remain after i save the document.

Cannot input color code in Websafe RGB
When i try to add the color code for R, G and B in websafe RGB scheme, as soon as i enter the value for R and move to G, both the fill and stroke becomes null. I can only enter the color code in the bottom text area which has the entire code

Old files quirks - SAVING and more
I have occasionally had problems with files not saving.
Today I have a specific example in case some dev people want to look at if: https://stock.adobe.com/579753145
The document seems to be plain eps (or maybe oldest Illustrator version ever).
When I open it in illustrator to just look at it, 27.5 on windows occasionally seems to keep some filehandle open (so I cannot make a change and "save as")
If that does not happen,, and I try to save, I get the "save as" dialogue, but in the end the file does not change. In detail: the documentAfterSave event is…1 vote -
Action to find replace T1 fonts
Since Illustrator no longer supports T1 fonts I would love to be able to make an action to find/replace font associated with common fonts that I used previously to current fonts that I now have active. The action however only opens the find/replace dialog and doesn't complete the request automatically. It makes you reselect the replacement font. (even though in the script dialog it shows the step of find (x) font, replace (x) font, change all yes).

Exporting Artboards
When I try exporting an artboard lets say as a PNG and put in that specific artboard, the preview comes up as the wrong artboard, it is usually the first one. This has been going on for a while and I have just come to the realization that it is a bug because I cancel the export and then try again and it works.

Its really frustrating... I cant save ai file in local drive nor save as PDF.

Open/Save dialog box hidden with a dual monitor setup
I have a dual monitor setup, 4K via USB-C, and the built-in display on my MacBook M1 Pro. The Illustrator window is on the top 4K display and the dialog box appears on the lower built-in display. Whenever using the creative cloud window open/save, only the top bar of the dialog box is visible at the very bottom of the built-in display. I have to pull it up in order to see and use it. This does not happen when using the MacOS open/save dialog box.

3D effect in Illustrator 2023 doesn’t work
After updating to 2023, the 3D effect no longer works on macOS 12.6.1. This is also the case with Photoshop. I then get the message that an error has occurred.

Illustrator27.2(27.1.*)再配色ウインドウを開いた時に、下部の調整部分がRGBだとバーが短く表示されます。CMYKや他の調整モードに切り替えた後RGBに戻すとバーの長さは戻りますが、何度も切り替えているとRGBのバーのみがまた短くなることがあります。
27.2にアップデートすることで解決するかと思いましたが解決していなかったので、前のバージョンの正確な数字を覚えていないのですが27.1.*でも同様でした。3 votes -
Missing Pixels After Rendering 3d Objects

AI 2023 Version 27.4Whenever I render 3d objects in illustrator,
missing pixels or weird scratches show up within
the object. It doesn't matter if I change the
lighting or material or size, the issues are still there.The scratches show up when I export the objects as well. My document raster effect settings are on 300 ppi.
Also, changing from CPU/GPU view doesn't make
a difference.This only started happening in the past few days.

Cannot save data to cloud after folder creation

Illustrator 27.5Reproduction procedure
1. Create a new folder when saving data to the cloud (in this case, the folder name is "素材" in Japanese)
2. I tried to save the file to the cloud as is, but it was not saved. I tried several times, but could not save the file.
3. It was possible to save the file locally. After saving locally, it was also possible to save the file to the cloud in the "素材" folder.It would be great if the folder could be created and then saved as is.

Can’t select a hyphen at the start of the line
テキストツールで半角英数字で入力したものが、後になって選択できなくなる場合があるようです。
「- 2022 -」と入力したあと、修正しようとしたら、最初の「- 」が選択出来ません。1 voteIllustrator converts a hyphen at the start of the line to a bulleted list, unless the 'Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing' option (enabled by default) is not turned off.
These converted markers can’t be selected, unless you convert the text back with the dedicated button in the Paragraph menu.
But be warned though, that sometimes disabling the auto-conversion does not work, and hyphen and other characters still force Illustrator to create a list.

コンピューターに保存時、ファイル名を作成する際、シフト+テンキーを使い、テキストの一部を選択しようとすると保存画面がリセットされてしまう。Creative Cloudに保存時には発生しない現象。

Keyboard shortcuts not working with KLIM keyboard on ASUS laptop
I have just installed a new (external) on my ASUS laptop and now all of the keyboard shortcuts that require three keys to be held, such as send to back, are not working. They work on the laptop keyboard.
Shortcuts work in all other programs (such as word and online)
I have updated all drivers, updated CC and also reinstalled the program. I have checked sticky keys are on and filter keys off. I don't know what else to do - it is severely impacting workflow.

Clipping compound shape doesn't have edges drawn
When a compound shape (not a compound path, but a live result of any Pathfinder operation) is used as a clipping mask, Illustrator does not display edges for the resulting objects.
- View > Hide Bounding Box (for clarity, to see the issue better)
- Draw anything
- Create two intersecting rectangles
- Select these two rectangles, hold Alt and click Unite in Pathfinder panel to get a live compound shape
- Select both the compound shape and the art below
- Object > Clipping Mask > Make

Too many brushes saved in Print.ai (Print.ai = 300 MB) disable Trim View, despite 32 GB RAM
Trim View still worked in a new doc based on my Print.ai, until I opened the brushes tab, then it got disabled.
