Holding Ctrl does not enable Constrain Proportions for artboards
If I have the Constrain Width and Height Proportions lock button depressed/disabled in the Control panel or for the Artboard tool, committing a change with Ctrl+Enter does not apply the change constrained, as it should do.
Hitting Ctrl+Enter in Properties panel does not do anything at all. Properties is so broken.

Cannot save Illustrator file to Dropbox but can save to Desktop on Mac OS Monterey
I am running Mac OS X Monterey (12.6.5) and Illustrator 2023 on an Intel Mac (Mac Pro 2014). Unusual bug: when I try to save an .ai file to the Desktop, no problem. However, when I try to save to a Dropbox folder, I get a message that I do not have access privileges and I get the -5000 code. I can first save to the Desktop and then drag to the Dropbox folder When I try to do the same in Adobe Photoshop: no problem, so it appears to be an Illustrator-specific issue. CMYKのパラメータで触ったもの以外が勝手に0％になる。

Ver. 27.1.1
CMYKの異なるオブジェクトを選択後、CMYKのいずれかを同じ数値にしようとすると、選択したもの以外のパラメーターが全て0％に変更されてしまう。
以前はそのようなことはなく、選択したもの以外のパラメーターはキープされていた。
例えば、C:10,M:20,Y:30:K40とC50:M:60,Y:70,K:80の2つのオブジェクトを選択し、両方のYの値を90に同時に変更しようとした場合、CMKの3つの数値はキープされず勝手に0に変わってしまう。3 votes -

unclickable accept button to terms of use
I had a popup tells me to click accept to general terms of use but when i click accept it does not accepting it and popup does not removing
1 voteThe solution is to actually click the Terms of Use link the dialog offers you ( and at least TRY to read them). When you click the link, the Accept button starts working.

Keyboard input in Properties Panel, Character section failure
Keyboard input in the Properties Panel will frequently stop working for me, and the only way to fix it is to restart the application. It's not a huge issue but it is quite irritating as I need to restart illustrator up to six times per hour to fix this.
In detail: keyboard input for character related dimensions will stop working. I am still able to delete input, but cannot add input using the keyboard (the delete key is the only key being registered by Illustrator in the Properties Panel). For example, if my text is set to 35pt font, I…2 votes -

Schwarze Rechtecke statt eingefügter Bilder / Placed images turn black

Mac OS MontereyDie meissten der eingebetteten Bilder (tifs und pngs) werden plötzlich nur noch als schwarze Rechtecke dargestellt.
Keine Problemlösung nach Neustart.
Da es sich um mehr als 50 Bilder handelt wäre ein neu einrichten aller Bilddateien eine Mammut-Aufgabe.

Keyboard shortcut for "Navigate to Next Document" stopped working on MacOS
With the latest update to Illustrator 27.2, I've found the "Navigate to Next Document" keyboard shortcut to have stopped working. I have checked the Keyboard Shortcuts tool and verified that it remains as "Illustrator Defaults" and it is set to ⌘`. In fact none of the related shortcuts work.
To be sure, I've tried a different keyboard with the same result and the shortcut does continue to work in other applications (as it is the default shortcut on macOS to cycle around documents.)

Cannot copy from one layer and. paste to another....
After the latest update, copy and paste between layers is wonky. If I copy an item from one layer, it will only paste back into that layer. If I make the source layer hidden and try to paste, I get the "attempting to paste to locked/hidden layer" warning. I can select an object, then drag the small box that shows up in the layers panel to a new layer, but this is a bit awkward....
6 votesThis behavior is most probably cause by Paste Remembers Layers option, accessible in the Layers panel’s flyout menu.
When it’s enabled, Illustrator tries to paste copied objects into their original layers.
If the option it disabled, but it still does not work as you want it to, please reply back.

Align on a selection not working - Illustrator 27.3.1
When selecting the 2 points of a line, the "align to a selection" is not available.
However, it worked yesterday, before upgrading to 27.3.1.
What I want to do is select the first point of the line, then the second, and when I click "align horizontally to center", the first point should align with the second.
Instead of that, the entire line is centered on the artboard.1 vote -
Jaggy / Pixelated prints from Illustrator
Illustrator only produces pixelated / jaggy print-outs. This issue persists at least since 2008. I suspect a printing engine that is made for PostScript printers. I only use normal printers (laser and ink jet, large and small).
ALL other apps print fine on these machines / systems / printers. The same vector document printed from Ai is jaggy - printed from other apps looks fine. -See attachment:

export as artboard does not work
when i open illustrator and do my work lets say like 8 artboards and i want to save them one by one different pdf files when i do save as and say only artboard number 1 it does not save only 1 it saves whole other artboards with it too i notice that only because it consumes too much space and i can only see the other hidden artboards if i open the saved pdf with illustrator only

Hauptmenü nicht sichtbar
Jedes mal wenn ich Illustrator öffne zeigt sich die Startseite nicht. Das Einzige was zu sehen ist, ist die Oberste Leiste (Datei Bearbeiten Objekt etc) der Rest des Screens ist grau. Wenn ich mit der Maus an bestimmte Stellen klicke funktioniert noch alles, ich kann nur nichts außer grau sehen. Auch wenn ich über die obere Leiste eine neue Datei erstellen will, zeigt es mir nur ein graues Fenster an (ich kann also nicht sehen wo ich z.b das Format einstellen kann). Sobald ich dann eine Datei geöffnet habe funktioniert ales wieder und ich sehe alles in der Datei, nur…

Share for Review doesn't push the comments into Illustrator
In Illustrator 27.5 I don't get any comments. They are on the website. They don't get synched with Illustrator. Synching is turned on. I have rebooted and reset the preferences.

Align to key object isn't working
Align to key object not working. When I click to align the non-key object moves to a random but specific place on the file, it is not aligning to the art board but to a random half-way straddling the edge of the art board. Please fix this asap, I can't really use Illustrator without being able to align objects on the page. We pay a lot for this program!

Tool palettes don’t stick to the second monitor.
I use Illustrator in a multi-monitor setup. Tool palettes are on the second screen, while the Document window is on the main monitor.
Since the Update to macOS Ventura if I wake up the Mac after a sleep (or unlock the screen after I locked it) all the tool palettes jump from their position on the second screen to the main screen.
This is always reproducible for me on two different machines under macOS Ventura (13.0–13.2.1) and Illustrator 2013 (27.3.1).

Right click pop-up context menu box stuck in the bottom left corner of the screen
This issue started when I upgraded to Mac OS Monterey. Unfortunately, I cannot downgrade. I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro 15.6 laptop. I use a 27" 4k external monitor, but the issue occurs with the monitor and the laptop screen. The right-click menu box issue does not happen with any of the other Adobe programs. I have deleted prefs, uninstalled and installed illustrator, zapped the PRAM, and installed an older version of illustrator with no change. I understand Monterey is a beta now but is there a fix or setting to fix this problem? I appreciate your help in…

Repeat object has no indication of selection when bounding box is off
Repeats is broken right from the start and you are not even planning to improve it... OK, not improve it, but just to make stable, as it was supposed to be.
Here in the GIF, I have Bounding Box turned on, and it seems it works OK.
Then I disable bounding box (which is normal for me and a lot of other users). Again — AI allows to turn if OFF, and everything works without it just FINE — except for Repeats and area type text (but this is another tale).
