  1. First time use of the Library bug

    Hardly worth reporting but happens consistently for me: the first time I use the Library after opening Illustrator, upon choosing what I want to place, the library panel closes (before I can complete the place command). When I open the palette again and choose the item, it works fine. That's it.

  3. Pasting text on selected text changes properties

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  4. File Ruined After Updating

    I was working with a slightly outdated version of Illustrator and the program kept acting up and crashed twice, so I saved my files and updated. Right before I did, a file I was working on did this. After the update, the error seems to be permanent.

  5. emf file blank (could be opened in Windows Paint and irfanview just fine)

  6. Cannot modify Fill and Stroke color of objects

    Sometimes when the object is selected (think it is the select tool activated by A) I cannot modify the color of the stroke or fill. The popup menu that I usually use for this does not work.

  7. Moving rotation anchor sticks to cursor - Pen tablet

    Windows 10 64bit.

    For literally years now, when you use a wacom pen, hold alt to move to the position of an object's rotation anchor, it sticks the anchor to the cursor and there's no way of detaching it unless you minimise and reopen the software.

    This has been a problem for more versions than I can count. (We're talking in excess of five years, probably more?) It's happened on different machines and different pen tablets so it's a software problem. Oh how I'd love it to be actually fixed one day!

  8. Color guide issue/bug

    When I click on color in "color guide" it doesn't work. So shape has (let's say) "old" color. I can click on "new" color 10 times and nothing happen. Some colors works, some colors doesn't response.
    PLEASE FIX.

    Illustrator2022　26.2.1　pdf保存時　線幅（pt)
    MacOS Catalina 10.15.7　特色オーバープリントした線幅がpdf形式へ別名保存時　／（X-4 2008 日本）またそれ以外でも線幅が変わってしまう。
    Illustrator2020　24.3.2　では問題なく保存可能です。

  10. PARM error with embedded image

    iMac OS Catalina 10.15.7
    Adobe Illustrator 25.4.1

    I get an PARM error when selecting an embedded image and clicking the "Edición" menu (Edit in spanish).
    After clicking the OK button I can then access all the "Edit" menu options as usual.

    Please fix this annoying behaviour.

  11. 禁則処理が反映されない、トラッキングの数値が変わる

    macOS Mojave バージョン10.14.6
    CC2020 バージョン24.1で起きたバグです。

    ・テキストボックスを使用して文字組みの作業をしていました。
    ・保存後に再度開くと文字送り位置が勝手に変わっている現象が発生。
    　」←閉じ括弧が行頭に来ていたました。
    ・禁則処理は「強い禁則」に設定していた＆行頭禁則文字に同記号を設定していたのに適用されませんでした。
    ・トラッキングを-5→0に設定して文字送りを調整して保存しましたが、再度開くとまたトラッキングは-5に戻り」←閉じ括弧が行頭にある状態に。
    ・トラッキングを今度は5〜10にして文字送りを調整し保存。再度開いたら正しい状態で保存されていました。

    以上ご報告になります。

  12. Copy/Pasting Art Causes "Save Changes" Prompt When Closing File

    If I copy the art in one document and paste it into another document, I will get the "Save changes to the AI document before closing?" prompt when I attempt to close the document from which the art has been copied, even though I have made no changes.

    AI never used to do this to my recollection. It's a nuisance and causes doubts when I've been distracted from one task, only to come back and have to verify whether any changes have actually been made.

  13. Importing SVG with a linked PDF inside a symbol does not work

    Normally if you open an SVG file with an image xlink:href pointing to a ai/pdf file it links and shows the file where the image is. However, if that image is inside a symbol (I found some issues with <defs> too) it does not link and is missing entirely.

  14. Glitchy M1 Version. Moving Object Distorts Object Beyond Recognition

    The simple act of moving a group object is not working in the Apple Silicon version. Just clicking on it distorts it beyond usuable recognition. Video if action attached.

  15. Missing close, minimize, and maximize buttons on Mac

    I use Magnet and whenever I snap the window to the full screen (4K) the maximize, minimize and close buttons all disappear.

  16. Visual breakdown bug when zoomed in < 30000%

    In keyline and normal view, when zooming in very close, the image breaks down. This didn't happen in previous versions. The first attached image shows the image correctly, with zoom at 12750%. The second attachment shows the image 'broken down' when zoomed in further. The multitude of diagonal lines shouldn't be there (these increase when panning) and the selected line (that I'm trying to work on) should be a complete line, not an endpoint. This bug makes detailed work very difficult.

  17. Illustrator brushes disappearing

    I have existing brushes I made in Illustrator that I have used for over ten years. Suddenly today they are disappearing in my files. I've rebooted and re-set the brush. I am using a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019, OS Monterey 12.2.1, Illustrator 26.0.3. Ever since the last big update for Mac I've been having a lot of problems in Illustrator. Please help!

  18. Illustrator not effectively handling Windows Desktop Magnification

    I have been having so many problems with Illustrator lately and just now realized that it is because of my UltraWide monitor and the fact that I have Windows Magnification set to 200%.

    This is not being handled well in Illustrator. It's making the active area around a selected item way too big. I can be 100px off of the selected item and it still wants to rotate. I try to select a point and it's nearly impossible. If you look at all of the "tolerance" bug reports, I would be willing to bet they all deal with magnification levels…

  19. The video player for tutorials defaults to the top when you open advanced recolor artwork

    I am following along with the tutorial and when I open advanced recolor artwork, the tutorial window is unclickable and jumps back to the top (so you can't follow along anymore) and I have to close out the color tab in order to scroll back down to the video. It is not a huge problem but it is a small problem. Love you Adobe!
