2. 画像をコピー＆ペーストするとスライスの設定が消失します

   ドキュメント間で画像のコピー＆ペーストを行なうと、ペーストしたドキュメントの矩形に付与したスライスの設定が消失してしまいます。
   画像を含まないオブジェクトのコピー＆ペースト、ドキュメント間でのドラッグ＆ドロップによる画像の複製では再現しません。

3. Using a sublayer as a layer mask is broken

   Please open the file attached and watch the video.
   Here is what happens, try to replicate it:

   1. The document has a Layer 1 and it has a sublayer — Layer 2, which has one rectangle in it
   2. If you select the Layer 1, the Make/Release Clipping mask button enables — click it
   3. Notice that Ai underlines both Layer 2 AND <Rectangle>, as if they are both are clipping masks
   4. If you click it again, everything is OK. But instead, select the Layer 2 and click the button after
   5. See how Ai still shows Layer 2 underlined (bug #1)
   6. Select a circle and see how the underline vanishes, and only <Rectangle> is now considered to be a mask
   7. You can select circles and everything stays as it was, until you move one — then suddenly the canvas gets updated and all shapes get rendered as unclipped (bug #2). Sometimes it happens partially, and it seems to be unrelated to CPU/GPU view mode
   8. Undo everything and clip again
   9. Hide the rectangle and see how all circles get visibly unclipped — that is OK
   10. Now toggle visibility of the Layer 2 instead — something changes, but circles are still clipped
   11. Hide Layer 2 and drag one of the circles — boom, they are unclipped again (bug #3)

   Sublayers are broken and this is why I avoid using them.
   Please fix.

4. Strange symbol ('envelope' sign) appears at the end of pasted text

   Why does the envelope sign appear when I copy text from somewhere else (like HEX color code copied or translation result text form Google Translate) and paste it into Illustrator?

   Happens only on Windows it seems.

5. (Applescript) do javascript command no longer works in Illustrator 2021(25.1)

   Bug report:
   When using AppleScript's do javascript in Illustrator 2021(25.1), nothing happens regardless of whether it is a file or text. The result will return a missing value. In 25.0.1, it works fine.

7. Update 25.2.2 closes all the tabs instead of one tab at a time

   Just after downloading the latest update, instead of closing one tab/page at a time, Illustrator started to automatically close every single opened page. It's happening with both Command + W and via the close button at the top of the page.

8. Can't create nor open document

10. Tab forces viewport to jump when panels are docked

    When you have a complex document and panels docked, it takes a lot of time to hide them with Tab because the position of the viewport is moved. It does not happen when all panels are floating.

    1. Load Essentials Classic workspace
    2. Open any document with art in it (the more complex the better)
    3. Press Tab — viewport moves (and it is slow!)
    4. Press Tab again to show all panels
    5. Undock every panel and toolbars to make them float (including Control panel)
    6. Press Tab — viewports stays in place (and it is almost instant!)

    So the position of viewport should not move when Tab is pressed, in all cases.

11. Stroke Options for Brushes are not sticky

    macOS 12.1
    Illustrator 26.0.2

    A brush is applied to an object, then its appearance is modified through the "Options of Selected Object" dialog box found at the bottom of the Brush Panel.
    If later the definition of the original brush is changed — all the modifications done through this dialog box are completely wiped out.
    I would expect these settings to be sticky.

    For example, if I flipped a brush across or scaled it for one path and then changed the colorization method for this brush, I would still expect this particular path to be scaled/flipped in the same way.

13. Zoom in command does not work

    1. Illustrator ver 26.3.1 (64 bit). My PC is SurfacePro7 with surface keyboard. GPU:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50 GHz
    2. pressed "control + +"
    3. expected zoom in.
    4. As a result, guide (Cyan line) was shown as if I pressed "control + :". When I pressed "control + :", it also results in guide showing.

14. pen tablet skipping brush strokes works fine in photoshop but not illustrator

    I have Illustrator 2022 and Illustrator 2020 and it skips strokes some times with both versions. It shows a circle that represents the brush where I start the stroke and it also shows the brush symbol that is moving with the pen tip. The circle that represents the brush stays where I start the stroke until I finish the stroke and lift the pen, then the circle that represents the brush goes away, while the brush symbol is moving with my stroke but no stroke is being drawn. The brush strokes in Photoshop are fine, they do not skip strokes every once in a while like it does in Illustrator. Illustrator is becoming so annoying because of all the bugs with each new version. MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019)

15. AI 25.4.1 GPU performance still very slow, cannot easily editing previous version files

    Since AI 25.2 I've had problems editing files. With GPU features enabled, all UI functions, selecting, deselecting, all mouse dragging functions, menu selections are all extremely slow to respond, I'm talking several seconds between responses to clicks and movement. Turning off "Real Time Editing" helps somewhat, delays are shortened, but still very difficult to work with. Disabling Animated-zoom has no effect. Disabling GPU entirely, improves selection and dragging, but there is still a delay of several seconds after releasing the mouse button. This behavior seems restricted to editing files prior to v25.2, but not all. Preforming a "SaveAs" over the existing file does not solve the problem. I found copying and pasting the entire contents into a new blank document does seem to solve the problem, as the UI response is speedy in the new document, in the same session of AI ! New documents work normally. Copy and pasting is not a practical solution. I do not see any shape or color problems. I've refreshed AI 25 preferences, to no effect. I'm using AI 24.3 where these same problem files edit normally with GPU enabled!? I attached a typical example file. As of 9-21-2021 all my CC-Apps and graphic drivers are up to date. Video card is NVIDIA P5000-16GB/driver-v472.1/30.1.14.7212, computer HP-Z8 Xeon4112, Win21H1-19043.1237, MS HID mouse driver.

16. Recent work thumbnails are missing on the welcome page

    When I launch my latest version of the Desktop illustrator app there are no more visible the thumbnails of the recent work. Please bring it back.

17. Select Same Fill/Stroke Color ignores Compound Shapes

    Select > Same > Fill Color (and I assume the other related functions) ignores the color set for Compound Shapes (if it differs from the color of the original shapes used to create the Compound Shape). Even if you have one selected before triggering the function it refuses to select it. It is as if it cannot see the color assigned to the Compound Shape itself.

    Windows 10, latest version of Adobe Illustrator 26.0.1

    1. I have a file consisting of multiple rectangles all with the exact same color (e.g. black).
    2. I make two rectangles of a different color (e.g. red) and combine them into a Compound Shape (Alt-click using the pathfinder).
    3. I set the fill color of my Compound Shape to the same color as the other objects (black).
    4. If I now select one object (even if it's the compound shape), and choose Select > Same > Fill Color it will select everything except the Compound Shape

    Select > Same > Fill Color (and I assume the other related functions) ignores the color set for Compound Shapes (if it differs from the color of the original shapes used to create the Compound Shape). Even if you have one selected before triggering the function it refuses to select it. It is as if it cannot see the color assigned to the Compound Shape itself.

18. Brush tool not available to draw on normal AI file

    I can draw a line on my rough draft in a .ai file, but can't use the brush tool. It shows the O with a / "forbidden" symbol (not available).

19. Direct Selection Tool selects objects by their center points

    When using the Direct Selection Tool to make a selection within another object via click and drag, the tool automatically selects the outer object, regardless of its fill setting.

    In previous versions of Illustrator, it would not select such an object if it had no fill, which made it easy to select multiple paths and points that were contained within an object with a simple click and drag gesture. Now, this is rendered impossible and makes the tool much more tedious to use.

    This absolutely needs to be fixed!

20. Illustrator 26.2.1 unable to save as .ai or .pdf

    Windows 10
    The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop)
    26.2.1
    The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues
    Save blank Artboard OK, but when with text, it is not saving/responding... hang
    Your expected result and the actual result
    Expects file to be saved as .ai or .pdf.... Actual it hangs and not saving
    Upload your Illustrator file or a video (screen recording or gif, this helps us most to reproduce the issue and resolve it)
