  1. Fehlendes abspeicher neuer farbfelder

    Kann keine neuen Farbfelder abspeichern, geschweige denn sie in der Bibliothek unterzubringen, noch die Standardfarben zu löschen… Wäre schön wenn man das über ein plussymbol hinbekommen könnte… plus neuen Farbenamen als Kategorie in die man die neuen Farbfelder speichern kann und beim antippen der Kategorie die Möglichkeit in Bibliothek zu speichern…

  2. Locked and/or hidden objects still become selected

    The object is locked and/or not visible, yet when the layer is selected, all objects including the locked and hidden objects become selected and move when they should not.

  3. Dialog box pop up warning when opening the application for IllustratorGc.jsx

    Illustrator version:25.3 (updated today to run natively for M1)

    Hardware Specifications:
    MacBook Pro M1
    OS: macOS Big Sur 11.4

    I updated my Illustrator today to run natively on M1 and have been facing this issue for a while.

    I changed none of my preferences but randomly seem to be getting this warning pop-up that does not go away when clicking on 'Continue' or 'Cancel' - I tried reinstalling the app which didn't work at first, so I removed my preferences and tried again but that did not fix it. It seems the warning pop-ups just when I open the application…

  4. Problem ingesting then reexporting SVG with transform attributes

    Take an SVG file with transform attribute which contains some translate(x,y) distance. Illustrator will open it fine, but if you re-export (save for screens), transforms are mangled and go outside the svg viewport.

    Please investigate, maybe it's worth to wipe the transform attributes completely when saving to a new SVG file?

    I attached the example SVG file. Disregard the fills, they were originally set to consume CSS-variables but Illustrator wiped them (which is another potential bug). For example, fill would be like: fill="var(--c-color-semantic-codsen-roundel-bg)".

  5. Illustrator can not save

    I run Illustrator 26.1 on a 2019 MacBook Pro with macOS 12.3.
    Illustrator can not save any new files!!? The saving window appears but the Save button is inactive and nothing in the left menu works. I can save to Cloud but not locally. Basically the whole Save-window is inactive. The only way to close the window is through shortcut CMD + "."
    It "feels" like I don't have access to my Mac?
    I can save existing documents (but not Save As).
    I have tried to reinstall Illustrator and reset settings (CTRL, OPT, COMM at startup) but nothing helps.

  6. Illustrator won't let me save

    Whether I open an existing ai file or start a new, when I got to save the document, it opens up the save menu however then it doesn't allow me to click on any section, not even the side menu to desktop, and you can see the save button is greyed out? Please can you provide a solution?

  7. テキストをアピアランス分割+アウトラインした際、線の太さが変わる

    オペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
    macOS Catalina 15.7
    Illustrator　 2022（26.0.3）

    問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    1　テキストに対し、アピアランスパネルで「線」を追加。
    2　線に任意の太さと色を設定。
    3　アピアランスパネルで　パスの変形→変形→拡大・縮小を任意の数値に設定。
    4　テキストを選択し、オブジェクト→アピアランスを分割
    5　テキストを再度選択し、書式→アウトラインを作成　を実行。

    想定していた結果
    見た目そのままの状態でアウトライン文字になる

    実際の結果
    アウトライン文字になるが、線の太さが変わる

    文字のアウトラインを先に実行すると別のアピアランスが作用して違う見た目になってしまうため、現状「拡大・縮小をしない」しか回避手段がありません。
    Illustrator バージョン26.1でも同じ結果になります。

  8. Importing CAD DXF files: Unknown Format and Cannot Be Opened

    I am using Illustrator 2020 on a Windows 10 computer.
    We import CAD files in DXF format to create AI files for our graphics department to use. We are successful when importing ACAD2000 DXF files, but have problems with more recent versions. Elements drop off when importing ACAD2004, 2007, 2010 DXF files. When trying to import ACAD2013 and 2018 CAD files I get the message "Unknown Format and Cannot Be Opened".

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.x which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  9. I cant open the documents that are saved in the cloud, so i have to saved them in my computer and i dont want to do that. Please help my

  10. Ver 23.3, When character unit is Q, spin button does not work properly with font size of character panel and control

    Version : 24.3
    OS : Windows and macOS

    1. Set the unit character to series (Q) in the environment settings
    2. Create point text and area text
    3. Change the font size of the character panel or control with the spin button.

    In this operation, the spin button does not work properly, and the size can be changed only within a specific range based on the character size at the time of selection.
    In the property panel, it works normally.
    Even if you enter it directly, a value with decimal will be entered instead of the entered value.
    Other units are normal.

  11. Export for Screens: ImageType PNG - is not recorded as an action

    When i export for screens and select png as export type with a fixed width of 5906 px in my case, then this action is simply not recorded.
    Other image types are recorded (like jpg or svg).

  12. Colour Variation when using "Darken" transparency

    Why am I getting a colour variation on screen when using the "Darken" mode in the transparency field.
    See attached illustrator Pdf.
    The "Substrate" spot colour has the "Darken" applied which is layered on top of the colour wedges.
    Should the colours of the wedges not display the same irrespective of whether "Overprint Preview" is on or off?

  13. Unwanted automatic grouping of compound paths with blob brush tool

    When I draw too close to an existing path/compound path with the blob brush, it automatically groups the two (SEPERATE!) path together.
    It is "solved" if I check "merge only with selection" but that is not a real fix.

    On MacBook Air M1, newest update, using wacom tablet. It did not ever happen before.

  14. "on your computer" button does not work in the "save" dialog when "creative cloud" is selected as the default location to save files

    I just updated to 26.3.1. Made a new file, sketched in it, and hit 'save".

    I was presented with the Creative Cloud dialogue. I am not a fan of keeping stuff in the cloud so I hit the "on my computer" button; nothing happened. I swore, aborted the dialogue, and tried again to the same result.

    A little further experimentation suggests that it works sometimes if I click on the button again. Weird.

    OSX 11.6.4, Big Sur.

  15. Cursor selections made within ui panels parameter fields do not respect dark mode on macos

    macOS 10.15.7
    Illustrator 26.3.1

    Selecting text or number values within ui panels in either light or dark mode, let alone any mode, should not rely on the os or allow the os to dictate textfield colors while that textfield has focus (e.g., text selection highlight color, text color, textfield background color). Instead always use just one neutral color for each regardless of the os display mode state.

    Screenshots show the selected text value (1575 px) within the Transform Panel > TextField [X pos] rendering correctly in macOS light mode and INcorrectly in dark mode.

  16. Moving an object manually to align with another object, moves the wrong object

    Quite often, when moving an object to snap to another object or anchor point, the moved object jumps back to its original position while the other object or even sometimes an anchor point makes the move instead

  17. Long ligature name causes AI crash

    I am a beta user of Font Awesome 6 and extensively use its desktop fonts with ligatures.

    Any attempt to produce the ligature made by the string starfighter-twin-ion-engine-advanced will crash AI (26.0.2, macOS Big Sur). I believe this is a length of ligature issue as other ligatures from this typeface family are unaffected, including starfighter-twin-ion-engine, and the alias of starfighter-alt-advanced works. (Perhaps ligatures of 32 or more characters?) I was able to reproduce this twice with the aforementioned ligature and again with down-left-and-up-right-to-center (32 chars). It does not occur in Photoshop, so it is an Ai problem, not a font…

  19. Blurry PNG Export

    I've used Adobe Illustrator for the best part of 7 years, and not once have any of my exports (PNG, TIFF, SVG) have been blurry until today.

    I have tried everything, read every forum, watched videos, updated, reinstalled... the list goes on... but still all my exports for my art, design and graphics all come out blurry!!!!!!!

    I don't know what has changed since the latest update or whatever it may be. It is frustrating to have all that work and not be able to have a crisp export.
