1. Horizontal and vertical paths have 0.0001pt height/width

   Illustrator v24.1
   macOS 10.15.4

   All strictly horizontal lines have 0.0001pt “H Value”, while all vertical lines have
   
   0.0001 pt “W Value”. If I manually type 0 in these fields, it reverses back to 0.0001pt. Using up and down arrows does not set this value to zero either.
   These same lines are 0pt height/width in the previous version of Illustrator.

2. Illustrator to PS Smart object updating broken

   Bug persists on both windows and Mac. Illustrator v2020.x (issue not present before v2020.x)

   BUG: When using smart objects in photoshop, linked to an illustrator file: after updating illustrator file and saving, the smart object always reverts to first artboard in PS and artwork shifts upon re-updating is PS.

   Steps:
   1. Make new layer in PS. Right Click layer->Convert to smart object
   2. Right click PS layer->replace contents->select a multi artboard illustrator
   file -> select any artboard other than the first ->place as "media box".
   
   3. Double click smart object layer to open in illustrator. -> make any
   adjustment to file then save."

   Expected Result: Artwork is automatically updated in PS smart object with no shifting or artboard, while retaining the correct artboard selected.

   Actual Result: If any artboard besides #1 was selected on initial placement, the smart object always reverts back to. artboard #1 upon saving edits in illustrator file. As well, the smart object seems to think "bounding box" placement method instead of "media box" and artwork shifts around.

   Bug persists on both windows and Mac. Illustrator v2020.x (issue not present before v2020.x)

3. Image Trace, Saving files, Swatch panel

   Running AI 2020, v 24.0.3 on Mac High Sierra v 10.13.6

   • Save & Save As commands are not working at all. Commands are there, seems like they work (able to click, asks for file name, location, etc), but file never appears/saves. Have tried saving as new file types, names, etc, but nothing works.

   • Image Trace, same issue. Button is there and I click on it but nothing happens.

   • Swatch panel has disappeared completely. Searched "Swatch" in illustrator help search bar says "no results found". "Swatches" not under windows menu. Have loaded different workspaces, none have it.

   Have quit and restarted computer, issues remain. Reset preferences when starting illustrator, also does not help.

4. Round corners worked better before

   The round corner options when selecting a shape worked a lot better before the latest update (24.1.1). Before when you had hard edges in a shape you pretty much could make round edges on every corner. Now it only appears a few places.

5. Illustrator Freeze & Crashing

   After updating my Macbook Air to version Mojave version 10.14.6 and Illustrator to version 24.1 I am unable to work in Illustrator for more than 5 minutes before it freezes and my screen turns black. I can not click on any tool either and dropdown boxes and windows disappear.

7. Still having strange problems with layers when printing to PDF

8. Wrong fonts when importing PDF

   When opening a PDF in Ai, (almost) all text becomes the font 'Montserrat' despite the correct fonts are loaded. There were no errors, and it doesn't gives any 'missing fonts' errors either.

9. drop down boxes appear off screen - instead of simply dropping down.

   I encounter and issue in illustrator where my drop-down menus appear either on the left of my screen or in the case of the Variable Width Profile opens at the bottom of my screen, (outside of illustrator) and won't allow me to select the profile I would prefer. It's a floating box but it won't allow me to move it. I have a similar issue in Premier as well. I don't have this issue in PS, so it appears as exlcusive to illustrator.

10. Cannot print A3 at 100%

    From my Mac running 10.15.4, A3 will not print correctly to my Epson WF 7720. No scaling is applied - it's at 100% both in the driver dialog and Illustrator itself - but the prints are coming out at 97.2% of what they should be.

    8.5 x 11 prints work fine, and the same document prints correctly at A3 from within Inkscape.

11. Random bug of unselected object frame, from locked layer, visible even though not selected

    Only way to remove the frame is to shut the file down and then reopen. Unable to take a screen shot as the frame disappears when taking it.

12. Magic mouse 2 poor performance

    OS Catalina - 10.15.3
    Illustrator - 24.0.3
    Imac 2019 - I9 - 40gb ram - 512 ssd - pro vega 48 8gb

    The performance while using the magic mouse 2 is very... very slow and laggy. Just scrolling left to right/up to down using a single finger swipe is choppy, delayed to the point where it is unusable. I am forced to use a different mouse while working within illustrator (my logitech, which works fine). I know there are some features within mac OS like the inertia scrolling that cause problems but when you disable all of the those features performance is still unusable and it sort of takes all of the 'magic' out of the mouse. Photoshop works perfect for me with the magic mouse so I don't understand why illustrator wouldn't.

14. Cambria text & large text cursor

    Looks like this was happening in 2017 as well... when using Cambria font, the cursor is 2 or 3 times as large as it should be when editing text. Makes highlighting & editing multiple rows almost impossible. I'd attach a file but others have shown the same thing already and it's simply a text box with Cambria text and a huge cursor. Text size is 11, height set at 13. In the same document but a text box using BonvenoCF, the cursor is the right height.

15. Temp file string prepended to filename slug

    When saving a PDF copy of a file with cropmarks to a network share a temporary string such as "ai157536670945_" is prepended to the filename in the page info/slug in the cropmark area.

16. Illustrator 2020 v24.1.1 - "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" can't save new symbol

    I tested the new Real-Time Drawing and Editing feature today and found that once I finished my drawing, dragging it over to the Symbols pane to create a new symbol as I normally would resulted in the attached error.

    This was the first bit of work I had done since enabling this new feature so I suspected it was the cause and I moved on to two other projects to confirm. One of those worked correctly - the simpler project - and the other did not. So two out of three drawings could not be turned into symbols, and the error message gives no indication of what exactly it doesn't like about my output.

    I still hit this error after saving my files, restarting Illustrator and trying again. Disabling "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" fixes this right away and I'm able to use Illustrator as I always have.

    All of these projects are relatively complex technical drawings but nothing unreasonable, and certainly simpler than what a lot of folks in the community crank out.

    Please let me know if there's any more info that would help.

    Illustrator version 24.1.1
    Windows 10 Enterprise, build 17134
    Lenovo Thinkstation P520c
    Intel Xeon W-2133 CPU
    32GB RAM
    NVIDIA Quadro P4000, 8GB. Driver version 440.97

17. XD and PS defaults to open .ai files - AI files should open with Illustrator only

    Working in windows 10. After updating XD and Illustrator to 2019, all my existing .ai files have been defaulted to open in XD. I can use the "Open With" option to successfully open .ai files in Illustrator but the default always stays with XD no matter how many times I select Illustrator.

    Uninstalled XD. AI files cannot locate Illustrator as primary software for launch.

19. Values of artboard differes from the values on control panel in artboard mode

    1. Create big artboard 5 meter in Normal Mode
    2. Activate Increase Cavas Mode
    3. Activate artboard mode
    4. Enlarge artboard up to maximal size 57 meter with dragging handels
    5. The values in control panel are in METERS while in properties panel they are in INCH

    Expected result: The must be in the same measuraments value. In METRS as I have choose METERS

    It happens when I create artbord after first run.

20. Effects menu is smaller/larger than other menus on Windows with larger UI scaling
