Bug: Adobe Acrobat PDF fields are no longer retained in Illustrator file
Adobe Acrobat PDF fields in a Illustrator PDF file should be retained upon save. Up to version 27.5, Illustrator did respect and retain PDF text fields, I started noticing the issue in Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7
OS: macOS Ventura 13.4
Affected AI versions: 27.6.1 and 27.7
Steps to reproduce problem: Open an existing illustrator PDF file that has Acrobat PDF text fields embedded, make any change and then save the file. After re-opening the file, the Acrobat PDF text fields are no longer present.

Smart Guides not working most of the time
The Smart guides are not working correctly anymore. When trying to move or add an anchor point there are no smart guides to help align it. If I want use the object tool there are no guides while hovering unless a random object in my canvas is selected, then all of a suddeny smart guides work again. Once an object is created then it always has smart guides available when moving but not when trying to create it aka hovering with the object tool.

Classic 3D transformations not working
Classic 3D Transforms are working but acting weird. I created a square and tried to do a classic 3D Isometric Top Transform and it kind of worked, but it was as though it was missing a big triangle out of the front corner. I expanded the object thinking that perhaps it was a display issue and even the expanded version has the missing piece.

Mac M2Pro(Mac14,12) , Ventura v13.4.1, Ai2023(27.6.1), 4Kモニタ(27inc,3200x1800表示)
新規でAi2023(27.6.1)をインストールしたのち表題の現象が起きる。その他のバージョンのAIはインストールしていない。
環境設定をリセットすると直るが、改めて環境を設定してしまうと同じ現象がおきる。環境設定内の何かしらの項目が悪さしてそうですが一つ一つは検証していません。
27.7のアップデートが来ていましたのでアップデートしましたが変わらず。追加：Ai2023をアンインストールしてAi2022バージョンも試しに入れてみましたが、同じくなにかしら環境設定をしてしまうと設定クリアするまではズレたままです。
OSシステムのディスプレイ設定で2560x1440に変更してみたりなど試しましたが改善しませんでした。

Wacom Driver Error
There is a Wacom Driver error every time we open Illustrator, but there has never been a Wacom device on this new PC, and it is not enabled in Devices, It happens every time it is loaded. Support have removed and re-installed but the error persists.

Illustrator 2023 crashes when clicking the scroll bar in the font selection dialog
Ever since I installed Illustrator 2023 the entire program will hang when using the mouse, trackpad or wacom pen to select the scroll bar in the font selection drop down menu
Fonts can still be chosen using the cursor keys to navigate up and down. Previous versions of Illustrator are still working as expected so I haven't been able to track down a corrupt font.
I have tried a uninstall/reinstall and resetting of preferences. Nothing seems to work.
This is on an M1 Mac (but also has replicated on an Intel Macbook Pro both on MacOS Monterey.

Pencil Tool - unknown error - Illustrator 27.5
Whilst working and switching to the pencil tool I get an unknown error warning, and have to quit the program to try and fix it.

When a group of symbols is used as a key object, only one symbol gets the bold outline
When you click an object to mark it as a key object for aligning, Ai draws a fat bold edge around it. Works fine, but not for a group of symbols. Need to be fixed.
Similar to the problem with meshes, which don’t get any key outline at all:

Hitting Alt Makes Cursor Look/Feel Laggy and Slow
This has been going on for MANY years/versions of Illustrator and I've seen many posts here about the issue but it's yet to be resolved or have any work arounds.
All you have to do to replicate the bug is to hit alt (don't even need to hold it) and assuming you're on a high refresh rate monitor you will instantly feel input lag and see the cursor moving at what appears to be 30fps or less, until you left click with mouse, then it will go back to normal. artwork moving when i select on my macbook pro 2023
When I click to select artwork/objects on my 2023 macbook pro the artwork jumps position, I'm not dragging the artwork and didn't have the issue on earlier macbook (2017) or my 2019 imac. Makes working in illustator really awkward and is frustrating!

Autosave not working
In the latest update from Illustrator, my auto save is not working (despite being selected in Preferences).
I've lost at least three hours' worth of work in the past two weeks. I habitually save, but if I only remember once every half hour or hour and then Illustrator crashes (which it also keeps doing) none of my work is being recovered.In the eight years I have been using this program, that has never happened.
What gives? Major waste of my time and also irritating AF

Illustrator Not responding
Hi I'd like to report a bug that's been happening with my illustrator files, they've become very lagged and after ever move I make, its been coming up with Illustrator not responding and making it incapable to use, I've tried multiple ways to fix it but nothings happening, its a new laptop I've got tons of disk space and I've tried reinstalling and restarting but nothing is working I need to complete a school assignment by next week and I'm incapable of doing it because of this bug.

- Illustratorファイル保存時にファイル名変更欄でのカーソル移動および保存先フォルダを選択するため，十字キーを押した．
- 十字キーに従ってカーソルを移動させたり，フォルダを移動したりできる.
- どの十字キーを押しても，ポップアップ画面が落ちた．

Illustrator fails to export all text into final pngs or jpegs
I have been exporting images with text layers and I've noticed Illustrator seems to indiscriminately not export certain lines of text (not layer groups to be clear, but random lines of text). I don't know how to replicate this issue because it appears random, but I did include pngs of the file that I had this issue with most recently.
2 votesWe have been able to resolve the issue. You should not be running into this issue. Please do a relaunch or two to refresh the application.

Blank screen on start up and missed new features on new v. 27.6 (English language on Windows 10)
Just updated to the new version 27.6 in English language on Windows 10 pro, at the start up the home screen is totally blank (only the layout color instead of open, new file etc. buttons). Anyway I'm able to open files o new files from the menu. There is no trace of the new Ai features or of the other improvements coming with this new release. I tried both update from the previous version and install from scratch after cancelled the previous one but with no results.

a bug about importing vectorgraph
After importing a vector graph (pdf file), the vector graph appears very weird in the Adobe illustrator 2021. The imported pdf file seems to be covered with mosaics.
My PC is Macbook 2022 M2 . Previously, all look very well in another computer (Intel chip). I have no idea about what this bug should be attributed to? my computer system or Adobe illustrator 2021?

rotating and croping causing jagged banding
Rotating and croping an image leads to an odd banding pattern appearing through the image. This does not occur when clipping using a clipping mask or when only cropped or only rotated.

This happens when Snap to Grid is enabled. Even when invisible, it still affects snapping and prevents Smart Guides from assisting to snapping at artboard’s edges.

Heavy lag in Illustrator using Apple M2
I just installed Illustrator 28 on my brand new MacBook Pro M2 (16GB RAM, 512GB Storage), a pretty well specced machine. Mac OS Sonoma 14.0.
I'm experiencing heavy lags in multiple forms: When typing text, when moving paths or objects.
This happens when "View using GPU" is enabled. Without it the lag is gone, but other graphical bugs seem to occur, so this is not an option for too long.
I uninstalled AI and reinstalled it freshly, not keeping my settings to rule out this as a possible cause. Issue is still there.I need a fix as soon as…
