can't highlight width and height cells or file name when creating a new document
Why did you take away the ability to easily highlight the document name, width or height when creating a new file? Super irritating.

Please remove the "The document [name] is currently getting saved. It will be closed after the save is complete." dialog
Or at least make that optional. It's a common practice to Command-S, Command-W, and now it's an extra step to hit "ok". If you don't click okay (or press enter), it just hangs there, not doing anything until you get rid of the dialog.
Either make the dialog optional, or handle it like InDesign, where the dialog disappears when the file is saved and then the window closes.

Want to give an update that we have removed the dialog, and the new experience is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now, in case you want to give it a try. Now, there will be no blocking message, we will show a “soft message” which will auto-dismiss .

Pencil Tool creating too many anchor points
I'm drawing over path with the pencil tool (Wacom tablet)
Older version of Illustrator was smoother more accurate and natural flowing. Now creates jagged lines.1 vote -
Illustrator 2021 - Restart Illustrator to auto-recover files doesn't work
Illustration 2021 25.0.1 version constantly crashing.
On restarting Illustrator app auto-recovery process doesn't work - It doesn't open up the unsaved files with the Recovered suffix as on previous versions.

No me permite guardar el archivo como pdf o imagen solo guarda como Ai
Al momento de querer guardar cualquier archivo en cualquier formato solo se forma un documento sin temporal .tmp ya he intentado generar un archivo nuevo y guardarlo desde ese y tampoco ha funcionado la versión que manejo es Adobe Illustrator 2021 25.0.1 simultaneamente tengo la versión 2018 y no me da problemas

Auto Spellcheck Squiggly does not go away when adding a word to dictionary...
The red squiggly that appears under words when auto-spell check is enabled does not automatically go away when you add the word to the dictionary. If you edit the text somewhere afterwards, it looks like auto spell check is ran again, and only then is the squiggly removed.

Distribute spacing value field doesn't show units anymore
The field used to show units (like '50 mm') in version 23.
In 24 it says just '50' with no 'mm' after.
If you type in your own unit, it won't recalculate in current units, as every other field in AI can do.21 votesThe bug is no longer a problem in latest Illustrator releases. If you ever encounter this problem ever again, please comment back.

Scale Stroke & Effects not working with Symbols in Scale Window
The Scale Strokes & Effects checkbox in the Scale Window doesn't work with Symbols.
You have to enable/disable Scale Strokes & Effects before entering the Scale dialog to get it to work with symbols.

Illustrator PDF created with 24.3 sets letter I to overprint
We process PDF files daily and have noticed that files saved as PDF from Illustrator 24.3 will set overprint on for the letter I
There are several different examples if you cannot reproduce.

Simplify tool (24.2.3) still doesn't work as expected
According to the answer from Adobe in this post ( https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/38726365-please-revise-the-new-tool-to-simplify-paths-once ) the new simplify tool is supposed to be updated and work better but it is unfortunately still unusable for us who simplify lines which originates from GIS softwares etc.
I can't understand how the new tool could simplify so strange and unusable.
Also as a bonus, when having more complex files, Illustrator 24 freezes when trying to simplify a line. Illustrator 2019 with old tool doesn't.

Tooltips in Recolor Artwork Panel are Backwards
It seems to me that the tooltips in the Recolor Artwork panel are backwards.
The left button's tooltip tells me that that button controls Saturation and Hue, but once selected, the slider's tooltip tells me that it adjusts Brightness, which it actually does.
The right button's tooltip tells me that that button controls Brightness and Hue, but once selected, the slider's tooltip tells me that it adjusts Saturation, which it actually does.
If I am misunderstanding something, then the tooltips are at the very least extremely confusing.
I'm using Illustrator 25.2.1 on macOS 10.14.6.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Viewing Multi Page Layouts Switches to Full View/Page View
Viewing Multi Page Layouts, Single Page Views, will Switch to Full Layout at end of row. Misses the 1st page of next row. using the navigation arrows bottom left of window.

Guide sensibili, pannello laterale, chiusura dei singoli file
Sistema Operativo: MacOS Mojave Versione 10.14.6
Versione Adobe Illustrator: 25.2.3Le guide sensibili non funzionano nonostante siano abilitate nelle impostazioni, non si riesce ad allineare gli oggetti, o ad agganciare due punti, senza l'utilizzo obbligatorio delle normali guide.
Il pannello laterale ridotto molte volte non permette di aprire le singole finestre e costringe ad espandere il pannello o a riavviare il programma più e più volte.
Se si aprono più file contemporaneamente e se ne vuole chiudere uno solo li chiude comunque tutti indifferentemente causando non pochi problemi.

After latest update, workspaces no longer work
Any time I launch Illustrator now, it completely clears the interface (no tools, control bar, nothing). Additionally, if I try to select a workspace, it does nothing.
I can bring the elements back in one-by-one, just like normal, but the Save Workspace is completely grayed out (I did have previously save workspaces).
Needless to say, this is extremely frustrating to have to spend minutes re-setting up the interface each time I want to use it.

Last version super slow and partly broken
First of all, Illustrator needs almost 1-2 to start since the latest update. Before it was, like Photoshop, just a matter of some seconds.
When started, everything feels sluggish, changing the font for a text field is not possible anymore and I don't know how many more problems. The whole UI makes a somewhat broken impression, the cursor in textfields doesn't show and a whole lot more and is very unresponsive, takes seconds to react.This is with a high-end setup with 64GB of RAM (of which 32GB are free when showing this behaviour, so it's not RAM shortage causing…

Inaccuracies with Pathfinder and Shape Builder tools
I'm using v24.3, the most recent Illustrator version. When zooming in on a shape, the selection outline does not appear to correspond to the actual fill area of the shape. When doing any cutting or merging with the pathfinder or shape builder tool, this discrepancy starts to create inaccurate results, as the tools seem to favor the selection outline as a guide when cutting.
As an example, I have a circular background. I want to "mask" a square onto it, so one of the corners of the square is outside of the circle. This corner I intend to cut off…6 votes
